BARNETT
Eleanor O. Barnett, 84, Camdenton, died Nov. 29, 2002, at Windsor Estates, Camdenton.
She was born April 19, 1918, in Lebanon, the daughter of Dwight D. and Juanita Johnson Darr. She was married June 24, 1951, to James H. Barnett, who survives at the home.
She was a former co-owner of Shakeys Bar and Poor Jim's Restaurant in Sunrise Beach.
She was a homemaker and did sewing and alterations from her home.
Other survivors include: one son, Guy Wayne Barnett, Yankton, S.D.; two daughters, Toni G. Wagner, Camdenton, and Darlene B. Maples, Sunrise Beach; one sister, Juanita McCullough, Neosho; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kent Memorial Lutheran church, Sunrise Beach. The Rev. Eugene A. Moll will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to the Kent Memorial Lutheran Church.
LaBOUNTY
Lawrence "Larry" LaBounty, 82, Ellisville, died Nov. 29, 2002, at Bethesda Meadows, Ellisville.
He was born May 25, 1920, in Kingsley, Iowa, a son of George and Hilman LaBounty. He was married to Dayton Virginia LaBounty, who preceded him in death.
He was a financial examiner in the insurance industry, and was employed by the Missouri State Insurance Department for 20 years in Jefferson City. He served in the Navy from Feb. 21, 1942, to Dec. 1, 1945.
Survivors include: a daughter, Kathe Quigley, Ellisville; a son, Larry "Gene" Eugene LaBounty, St. Charles; and a sister, Beatrice McFate, Cordova, Tenn.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Memorial Gardens, 3950 W. Clay, St. Charles. Burial also will be at St. Charles Memorial Gardens. The body will be cremated.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Baue Funeral Home.

MARTIN
William Martin, 62, Osage Beach, died Nov. 27, 2002, at his home.
He was born June 11, 1940, in St. Charles, a son of Joseph and Myrtle White Martin. He was married Dec. 12, 1981, to Carol Huber, who survives at the home.
He owned and operated Martin Heating and Cooling, Osage Beach.
Other survivors include: one son, Michael Martin, St. Louis; two daughters, Victoria Weldon, Beaumont, Texas , and Tracey Brenner, Wildwood; and one brother, Michael Martin, St. Cloud, Fla.
Services will be at a later date. The body was cremated.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach.
WESTHOFF
Clarence J. Westhoff, 84, Camdenton, died Nov. 28, 2002, at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach.
He was born June 6, 1918, in Bucyrus, Kan., the son of Clarence and Olta Dover Westhoff. He was married Oct. 24, 1956, in Lincolnshire, England, to Enid Palmer, who survives at the home.
He retired as a major in the United States Air Force and was a World War II veteran.
He was a self-employed contractor and owned and operated a mini storage business. He was a member of the Lake Valley Country Club, the Masonic Lodge #152 in Linn Creek, the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Temple, and the Camdenton United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include: two sons, John Westhoff, Weatherford, Texas , and Jim Westhoff, Lee's Summit; one daughter, Jo Ann Sale, Jefferson City; and four grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Marc Magana will officiate.
Graveside services and burial will be at 2:30 Tuesday in the Riverview Cemetery Mausoleum.
Memorials are suggested to the Lake Regional Health System Radiation Unit Fund.
WILLIS
Herbert "Herb" Willis, 74, Camdenton, died Nov. 28, 2002, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born Dec. 30, 1927, in Washington , D.C., the son of Herbert G. and Dr. Doris Wilson Willis. He was married Dec. 14, 1974, to Betty Hine, who survives at the home.
He owned and operated a refinishing store in Dallas, Texas . He was a member of the Firs Baptist Church, Camdenton.
Other survivors include: two sons, Guy Willis and Gary Willis, both of Virginia Beach, Va.; one step-son, Steve Abel, St. Louis; one step-daughter, Michel Wagoner, Brentwood; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, Camdenton. The Rev. Bob Aubuchon will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.
Cremation and burial will follow in the Garden of Remembrance, Hedges Cemetery, Camdenton.
COLLINS
Clara V. Collins, 100, California, died Dec. 1, 2002, at California Care Center.
She was born Aug. 10, 1902, in Syracuse, a daughter of Richard J. and Susan Carpenter Ellis. She was married Dec. 27, 1923, to Mitchell Alexander Collins, who died in 1944.
She graduated from Syracuse High School and Warrensburg Teacher's College. She taught school and drove school buses for the California schools. She worked at Reed's Department Store, was a receptionist for Dr. O'Banion, for Bixler's, and for Williams Funeral Homes, in California. She was a seamstress and was a member of United Methodist Church, California. She was active in the Democratic party and worked at the polls during elections.
Survivors include: one son, Mitchel J. Collins, Jefferson City; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
One son, Richard Joseph Collins, died Aug. 21, 1996.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California. The Rev. Carol Koenig will officiate. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday.

McELWAINE
Dorothy Lee McElwaine, 70, Jefferson City, died Nov. 30, 2002, at Boone Hospital Center.
She was born Sept. 18, 1932, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Chester H. and Margaret E. Woratzeck Starkey. She was married Nov. 28, 1953, in Jefferson City, to Robert E. McElwaine Jr., who survives at the home.
She was a 1950 graduate of St. Peter High School. She was a secretary and a homemaker. She was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church and was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 35 in St. Martins.
Other survivors include: one son, Michael E. McElwaine, St. Charles; three daughters, Donna L. Johnson, Jefferson City, Janet M. Evers, Mary's Home, and Rhonda K. Scott, Eldon; 11 grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Martins Catholic Church. Fr. Ed Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, Jefferson City, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association, the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
SCHEPERLE
Beverly Sue Scheperle, 62, Jefferson City, died Nov. 30, 2002, at Friendship House of the Hospice of Jefferson City and Mid-Missouri.
She was born Feb. 20, 1940, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Roy A. and Marie C. Lueckenotte Scheperle.
She was a 1958 graduate of Jefferson City High School and a 1962 graduate of the University of Kansas at Lawrence with a bachelor of art degree in art education. She was an art instructor with the Jefferson City Public Schools for 36 years, the last 24 years at Jefferson City High School, retiring in 2002. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the California Garden Club, National Education Association and Missouri Secondary Art Education Association. She was a past member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Tau Chapter. She was recognized by the Missouri House of Representatives as an outstanding art educator. She was named the outstanding Missouri secondary art educator by the Missouri Art Education Association. She won many art awards and the 2000 Marcullus, the yearbook, at Jefferson City High School was dedicated to her.
Survivors include: two sisters, twin, Barbara Walter, Springfield, and Audrey Howser, Jefferson City.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Jerome Brownlee and the Rev. Gerald Scheperle will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the parish nurses program at Trinity Lutheran Church or the Art Education Department at Trinity Lutheran School.
