HAKE
Edward G. "Ed" Hake, 64, Meta, died Dec. 14, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born April 20, 1938, in Meta, a son of Steve and Elizabeth Clark Hake. He was married May 9, 1964, in Tuscumbia, to Rosemary Scheppers, who survives at the home.
He was a farmer. He worked for DeLong's and retired from ABB Power T & D Company in 2000. He was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Meta.
Other survivors include: two brothers, Bernard Hake, St. Elizabeth, and Walter Hake, Holts Summit; two sisters, Rose Libbert and Bernice Stokes, both of Meta.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Cecilia Catholic Church. The Rev. John Schutty will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Rekus Funeral Home, Meta, with a rosary at 3:45 p.m. and prayer service at 7 p.m.
WAGERS
Kelly Anne Roach-Wagers, 37, Sulphur Springs, Texas , formerly of Jefferson City, died Dec. 14, 2002, at her home.
Arrangements were at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors -- Jefferson City Chapel, 2613 W. Main St.
BOLLINGER
Patricia Fine Bollinger, 81, Van Buren, formerly of Jefferson City, died Dec. 15, 2002, at Riverways Manor Nursing Center, Van Buren.
Arrangements are at Freeman Mortuary.
HOOVER
Donald Dean Hoover, 68, Fulton, died Dec. 14, 2002, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.
He was born Nov. 10, 1934, in Readsville, a son of Andrew J. and Anna Mae Neusome Hoover. He was married July 2, 1955, in Fulton, to Lois Esther Maddox, who died March 30, 1995.
He worked for Brick Refractories in Mexico for 44 years until his retirement. He was a member of Church of God (Holiness) in Fulton and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include: one son, Larry Dean Hoover, Fulton; one brother, Merland "Curly" Hoover, Fulton; two sisters, Marcella Houchins and Gladys Atterberry, both of Fulton; and two grandsons.
One son, Terry Lee Hoover, died in 1977.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. E. G. Garrett will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
LINHARDT
Lorene Anna Linhardt, 94, California, died Dec. 14, 2002, at Moniteau Care Center, California.
She was born June 23, 1908, in Cole County, a daughter of John N. and Hulda Goldammer Schubert, She was married Dec. 28, 1926, in Hermann, to Louis E. Linhardt, who died in 1962.
She worked for California Manufacturing Company from 1942-1971. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul' s Lutheran Church, California, where she was a charter member of the evening guild. She was a member of St. Paul's Senior Citizens and was a volunteer for the church's Braille Center.
She was a member of California Manufacturing Company Retiree's Club.
Survivors include: one son, Roy Linhardt, Lakewood, Colo.; two daughters, Evelyn Lehman, California, and Dorothy Miloro, Jefferson City; one brother, Cortez Schubert, Mexico; one sister, Mamie Propst, Jefferson City; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Peter Kurowski will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Radio Ministry.
Arrangements are under the direction of Weber & Sons Funeral Home.
WOLF
Blanche Wolf, 79, Dixon, died Dec. 14, 2002, at St. Mary's Hospital, Blue Springs.
She was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Dixon, a daughter of George and Dora Robertson Crum. He was married Oct. 13, 1940, in Dixon, to Howard Wolf, who survives at the home.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dixon for 67 years.
Other survivors include: one son, Howard Wolf Jr., Dixon; three daughters, Marlene Johnson and Jody Whitten, both of Dixon, and Patty Williams, Blue Springs; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
One grandson preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon. The Rev. John Parker will officiate. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today and from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church.
ZUMWALT
Alice Louise Zumwalt, 70, Hartsburg, died Dec. 15, 2002, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
She was born Sept. 12, 1932, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Albert A. and Anna Partington Allen. She was married to Robert Zumwalt, who preceded her in death.
She worked for Columbia Auto Parts, retiring in 1994 after 32 years of service. She was a member of Hartsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one son, Dennis Zumwalt, Hartsburg; two brothers, Burdette Boulton, Muscatine, Iowa, and Jimmy Allen, Hartsburg; two granddaughters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home, Ashland. Pastor Kevin R. Kemper will officiate. Burial will be in Bonds Chapel Cemetery, Hartsburg.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday.
HINKEL
Margaret J. Hinkel, 95, California, died Dec. 17, 2002, at California Care Center.
She was born May 29, 1907, in Yuma, Colo., a daughter of Edward B. and Minnie Hanna Alice Ricketts Clark. She was married July 5, 1925, to Vincil Laroy Davis, who died July 27, 1970. She was married April 8, 1973, to Fredrick Lawrence Hinkel, who died Sept. 12, 1978.
She worked at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, Kansas City; Weber Shoe Factory, Tipton; California Manufacturing Company; and operated the Hobby Shop, California. She and her husband owned and operated Davis Triple Lakes near Clarksburg.
She was a member of California United Church of Christ. She was also a member of South Moniteau Club and started the first Cooper County 4-H Club. She attended school in Mancanola, Colo.
Survivors include: two daughters, Barbara J. Howard, California, and Norma D. McDaniel, Clarksburg; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
One son, Vincil Eugene Davis, died Nov. 24, 1975.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California. The Rev. Gary Schulte and the Rev. Collette Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Hickman Cemetery near Clarksburg.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday.
