VIETH
Lucille Ann Vieth, 79, Jefferson City, died Dec. 19, 2002, at her home.
She was born Aug. 25, 1923, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Albert H. and Edith Schenewerk Schatzer. She was married April 9, 1947, in Jefferson City, to Francis W. Vieth, who survives at the home.
She was a 1941 graduate of St. Peters High School. She was a homemaker.
She worked for Scruggs Guhleman Lumber Company and was deputy recorder of deeds for the Cole County recorder's office, retiring in 1985.
She was co-owner of McKinney Brothers Restaurant for a number of years.
She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
Other survivors include one brother, Earl A. Schatzer, Jefferson City, and two grandchildren.
One son, Terrance Joseph "Terry" Vieth, died Feb. 18, 1996.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Peters Catholic Church. The Rev. Donald Lammers will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Buescher Memorial Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
SHARP
Maralene Sharp, 84, Rocky Mount, died Dec. 18, 2002, in Osage Beach.
She was born March 15, 1918, in Spulpha, Okla., a daughter of Archie J. and Katie Ann Corcoran Wood. She was married May 25, 1936, in McPherson, Kan., to Paul Richard Sharp Sr., who died July 19, 1944.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include seven children, one brother, two sisters, 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
No services are planned. The body was cremated.
WINKELMANN
Joseph S. Winkelmann, 92, Jefferson City, died Dec. 20, 2002, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Center.
He was born Aug. 11, 1910, in Westphalia, a son of William F. and Anna Kemna Winkelmann. He was married in 1932, to Bess Gasche, who died in 1970. He was married in 1971, to Mary June Freeman, who died in 1972. He was married March 30, 1974, in St. Louis, to Rose Ann Thrash, who survives at the home.
He was a resident of the Jefferson City area for most of his life and was a 1929 graduate of St. Peters School.
He attended Quincy College, Quincy, Ill. He worked at Ft. Leonard Wood. He worked in the small arms plant and the Curtis-Wright Plant, both in St. Louis, as a B-29 inspector.
He worked at the Merritta Georgia plant in Omaha, Neb. He worked with Singer Sewing Machine Company, Jefferson City, from 1945 until 1975, retiring as district manager.
He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Wardsville. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the BPO of Elks.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Mary Ann Headley, Jefferson City; one sister, Sr. Margaret Rose Winkelmann, Maryknoll, N.Y.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Stanislaus Church. The Rev. Louis Dorn will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:30-7 p.m. Sunday, at Freeman Mortuary, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to St. Stanislaus Church, Wardsville or St. Peters Church, Jefferson City.
CLARK
Anna Rea Clark, 93, Versailles, died Dec. 19, 2002, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
Arrangements are with Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
KOMAROMI
Imre Joseph Komaromi, 56, Jefferson City, died Dec. 21, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born May 12, 1946, in Voklabruck, Austria, a son of Imre Komaromi and Irene Aldesku Komaromi. His mother survives in Jefferson City.
He was a 1964 graduate of Helias High School and a graduate of Lincoln University. He received a master of arts degree in education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
He was employed as a claims representative with the social security administration. He later served as an educator with the Missouri Department of Corrections.
A Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
Other survivors include: one son, Imre E. "Tad" Komaromi, Jefferson City; one daughter, Ann L. Komaromi, Philadelphia; two brothers, Leslie J. Komaromi, St. Louis, and Stephen J. Komaromi, Jefferson City; two sisters, Elizabeth Simons, Columbia, and Margaret K. Gooch, Hartsburg; and one granddaughter.
Services with military honors will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at St. Peter Catholic Church. The Rev. James M. Smith will officiate.
Entombment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon Monday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.

IRVIN
Donald James Irvin Sr., 69, New Bloomfield, died Dec. 21, 2002, at his home.
He was born Sept. 1933, in Apex, a son of Samuel L. and Laura Edna Francis Hardin Irvin. He was married Oct. 20, 1989, to Sharon Ella Powell, who survives at the home.
He was a retired truck driver and a member of First Baptist Church in Elsberry. He was a member of VFW in Fulton and New Bloomfield. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Other survivors include: two sons, Donald James Irvin Jr., Harvey, La., and Troy Powell, St. Louis; four daughters, Susan Denise Kinsely, Columbia, Barbara Wurtz, Foley, Christine Irvin-Fullington, Fulton, and Jane Ellen Busby, Williamsburg; four brothers, Robert Irvin, Louisiana, Norman Irvin, Jonesboro, Delmar Irvin, Macon, and Albert Irvin, Barry, Ill.; four sisters, Doris Silvey, Louisiana, Edna Francis Harvey, Quincy, Ill., Velma McCormick, Rock Springs, Wyo., and Alice Dawson, Louisiana; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, Jefferson City. The Rev. Bruce Williamson will officiate. Burial with full military honors will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to the Donald Irvin Memorial Fund.
PERRY
Marilyn Ione Miller Perry, 68, Hartsburg, died Dec. 21, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Nov. 7, 1934, in St. Louis, a daughter of William and Ione Herzberg Miller. She was married Dec. 17, 1952, to Ernest Barker Perry Jr., who survives at the home.
She was a graduate of Southwest High School in St. Louis. She worked for the Missouri Division of Family Services for many years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Rolla and the Order of Eastern Star in Jefferson City.
Other survivors include: one son, Ernest B. Perry III, Jefferson City; one, daughter, Ann M. Perry-Elliott, California; one brother, William "Bill" Miller, Austin, Texas ; one sister, Carolyn Borrson, St. James; one granddaughter.
One daughter, Deborah Kay Perry, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, Jefferson City. The Rev. Rudy Beard will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today.
