SHILINSKY
Bruno Joseph Shilinsky, 88, Bellmawr, N.J., died July 8, 1999, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital.
He was born
Jan. 4, 1911, in Camden, N.J., a son of William and Theresa Dombrowski Shilinsky. He was married
Dec. 26, 1928, in Erlton, Md., to Francis Rzeckowski, who survives at the home.
He was a member of Heavy and General Laborers Union Local No. 172, in Newark, N.J.; and Mary Mother of the Church, Bellmawr, N.J.
Other survivors include: one son, Edward Shilinsky, Gibbsboro, N.J.; one daughter, Patricia Juliano, Iberia; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. July 16 at Mary Mother of the Church, Bellmawr. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chews Landing, N.J.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today (Saturday) at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia.
BRADLEY
Madge E. Bradley, 71, Camdenton, died July 10, 1999, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital, Osage Beach.
She was born
Sept. 18, 1927, in Willard, a daughter of Charles and Nettie Ross Harper. She was married
in Miami, Okla., to L.K. "Brad" Bradley, who survives at the home.
She worked in magazine layout production at the Hereford Association in Kansas City until her retirement. She was a life member and past president of VFW Auxiliary Post 5923; a VFW Auxiliary District 2 past president; and a life member of American Legion Auxiliary Zach Wheat Post 624.
A resident of the Camdenton area for 28 years, she was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Erie Chapter 332 and Hurricane Deck Lady Lions Club. She was a Baptist.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Linda Singleton, Malden; one brother, Charles Harper, Springfield; two sisters, Roberta Bowling, Springfield, and Eva Niemas, McLain, Va.; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the Cancer Aid & Research Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton.
DREWS
Col. Reno E. Drews, 86, Linn Creek, died July 10, 1999, at the Lake Ozark Retirement Center, Lake Ozark.
He was born
Oct. 27, 1912, in Winneconne, Wis., a son of Arthur and Anna Runge Drews. He was married
May 17, 1975, in Kansas City, to Vera Haeffner Scott, who survives at the home.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Camdenton, where he served on the church consul; he was past president of Lake Valley Country Club, Camdenton; a member of the Camdenton Rotary Club, Optimist Club of Camdenton, the Retired Officer Association Fort Leonard Wood Chapter and the Elks Lodge of Camdenton.
Other survivors include: two brothers, Wilbert Drews, Freemont, Wis., and Clarence Drews, Madison, Wis.
Services will be held today at 8:30 p.m. at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. John Davis will officiate. Services also will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. today until time of services.
Memorials are suggested to Our Savior Lutheran Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
HOWARD
Laura M. Howard, 84, California, died July 12, 1999, at California Care Center.
She was born
May 19, 1915, in Moniteau County, a daughter of John C. and Ada Belle Baker Wolfrum. She was married
Aug. 13, 1932, in California, to Wilbur D. Howard, who survives at California Care Center.
She was a homemaker and machine operator at California Manufacturing for 26 years until her retirement. She was a member of California United Church of Christ and the church quilters organization.
Other survivors include: one son, Bobby V. Howard, California; and two brothers, Fred Wolfrum, Pontiac, Mich., and Lloyd Wolfrum, California.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California. The Rev. Gary Schulte, the Rev. Peter Becker and the Rev. Ivan Dameron will officiate. Burial will be in Evangelical Cemetery, California.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.

SHIPLEY
Christina Marie Shipley, 30, Independence, formerly of Jefferson City, died July 10, 1999, at her home.
She was born
Feb. 29, 1969, a daughter of Jim and Linda Ault. Her parents survive in Independence. She was married
June 6, 1992, to Jeff Shipley, who survives at the home.
She was employed as an elementary teacher in Independence.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Alexandria Shipley, of the home; one brother, Todd Ault, Lee's Summit; maternal grandfather, Robert J. Bose, Lee's Summit; and maternal great-grandmother, Frances Wiebeck, Independence.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Good Shepherd Christian Church, Blue Springs.
Visitation will be from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Webb-Freer Funeral Home, Blue Springs.
LANGKOP
John H. Langkop Jr., 82, California, died July 12, 1999, at his home.
He was born
Oct. 6, 1916, in Cooper County, a son of John H. Sr. and Nora Lee George Langkop. He was married
Nov. 16, 1939, in Jefferson City, to Marian M. Matousek, who survives at the home.
He attended California High School. He was a farmer and a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, California. He was a board member of MFA Oil and MFA Exchange, and was a charter member of the Rural Fire Department.
Survivors include: one son, Jim D. Langkop, California; one daughter, Linda Imhoff, California; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, California. The Rev. Peter Kurowski will officiate. Burial will be in California City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California.

FERGUSON
Newton P. Ferguson, 84, New Bloomfield, died July 12, 1999, at Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital, Columbia.
He was born
Jan. 27, 1915, in Callaway County, a son of Junius and Beulah Sanford Ferguson.
He worked for Callaway Electric from 1957-1959, and for Meadow Lake Acres Country Club from 1960-1967. He then worked for Chesebrough-Ponds for 10 years, retiring in 1979. An Army veteran of World War II, he also farmed. He was a member of Old Paths Baptist Church. He helped start several independent Baptist churches in the area.
He is survived by one brother, George Ferguson, Tebbetts.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton. Bro. Allen Golden will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon- 2 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to Old Paths Baptist Church, Jefferson City; or to Bible Pilgrims Ministry, New Bloomfield.
HANKS
Joseph "Joe" Hanks, 54, Tebbetts, died July 11, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born
Aug. 2, 1944, in Steelville, a son of Earl and Frances Hopkins Hanks. He was married
Dec. 10, 1966, to Alma Craft, who survives at the home.
An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the Missouri National Guard for 21 years. He also worked for the Guard for 10 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 230, A.F. & A.M., St. James.
Other survivors include: one son, Billy Hanks, of the home; one daughter, Gina Hanks, of the home; seven brothers, Gene Hanks, Hill City, Kan., Jim Hanks and Earl Hanks, both of Steelville, Jerry Hanks, St. James, Delmar Hanks, Sikeston, Gary Hanks, Lohman, and Mike Hanks, Kansas City; three sisters, Sharon Thomas, Linn, and Pat Hanks and Debbie Lorraine, both of Steelville; and one granddaughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at James and Gahr Mortuary, St. James. The Rev. Larry Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Steelville.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, with Masonic services at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Courtney Hanks Educational Fund.
SCHWARTZ
Gerald J. "Pete" Schwartz, 66, Westphalia, died July 12, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born
Jan. 28, 1933, in Vienna, a son of Peter and Helen Luebbert Schwartze. He was married
April 29, 1961, in Chamois, to Barbara Schieder, who survives at the home.
He was a graduate of Vienna High School. A Navy veteran of the Korean War, he worked as a supply sergeant for the Missouri National Guard from 1974 until his retirement in 1989.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia, American Legion Roscoe Enloe Post 5, and a lifetime member of the National Guard Association.
Other survivors include: five daughters, Denise J. Massman, Shelly Holtmeyer and Holly Schwartz, all of Jefferson City, Diane J. Prenger, Taos, and Kelly Schwartz, Westphalia; one brother, Gene Schwartze, Vienna; two sisters, Irma Moran, Ballwin, and Lorene Kampeter, Jefferson City; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia. The Rev. Robert Kurwicki will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hilke-Millard Funeral Home, Westphalia, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
