IMHOFF
Helen M. Imhoff, 93, California, died July 15, 1999, at California Care Center.
She was born
Dec. 5, 1905, in Tipton, a daughter of William and Adelia Miller Heinen. She was married
Sept. 27, 1932, in California, to Alvin W. Imhoff, who died Nov. 30, 1986.
She taught in rural schools for 10 years and taught fifth grade at California R-I for 27 years, retiring in 1973. She was a substitute teacher from 1973-1985 for California R-I School.
She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church and the Altar Sodality, California. She had been a member of Twin City Garden Club, Historical Society of Moniteau County and Aurora Alumni Association, where she was recording secretary until 1997. She was a 1925 graduate of Aurora High School. She received a bachelor's degree in teaching from Warrensburg State Teachers College in 1955.
Survivors include: one son, Terry Imhoff, Jefferson City; one sister, Alverta Haldiman, California; two grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
One son, Thomas Imhoff, died in 1953.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Annunciation Catholic Church. The Rev. Henry Reichert will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

WELSCHMEYER
Francis Aloysius "Frankie" Welschmeyer, 25, Freeburg, died July 14, 1999.
He was born
Aug. 22, 1973, in Columbia, a son of Steve and Mayo deAlva Welschmeyer, who survive in Freeburg.
Other survivors include: one brother, Eric Cosaris Welschmeyer, Freeburg; one sister, Melanie Cosaris Welschmeyer, Freeburg; paternal grandparents, Frank and Elizabeth Bexten Welschmeyer; and maternal grandparents, Ruben and Consuelo Minjarez deAlva.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg. Burial will be in Holy Family Parish Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today at Kordes Funeral Home, Vienna, with a rosary service at 8 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Holy Family Catholic Church.
SNELLEN
Opal S. Snellen, 89, Jefferson City, died July 15, 1999, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born
April 13, 1910, in Elston, a daughter of Henry and Clara Peeper Surface. She was married
Feb. 27, 1932, in Jefferson City, to William Guy Snellen, who survives at the home.
She attended Elston School. A lifelong resident of Central Missouri, she was a homemaker. She was employed at the International Shoe Factory and worked as a teaching assistant at Peter Pan School.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Amistosia Sunday School class.
She also is survived by one son, Roger Guy Snellen, Columbia.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. E. Gene Rooney will officiate. Burial will be in Elston Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church.
SMITH
Marion Smith, 73, Camdenton, died July 14, 1999, at his home.
He was born
July 10, 1926, in Oil City, La., a son of John W. and Mary E. Carroll Smith. He was married
Dec. 14, 1964, in North Carolina to Elizabeth Dawson, who died May 6, 1997.
He lived in the Lake area for the past 25 years. He retired from the Navy after serving more than 20 years.
Survivors include: one son, David Smith, Camdenton; and one daughter, Patricia Campbell, Daytona, Fla.
No services are planned.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton.
CRUTSINGER
Glen W. Crutsinger, 75, Belle, died July 14, 1999, at the University of Missouri Medical Center, Columbia.
He was born
Feb. 9, 1924, in Centertown, a son of Richard and Addie Garnet Crutsinger. He was married
Jan. 27, 1947, in Jefferson City, to Mildred Runge, who survives at the home.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a lifetime member of the Owensville VFW Post. He worked for International Shoe Company, Belle, and then worked 10 years at Modine Manufacturing Company. He was a member of Belle United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include: three sons, Larry Crutsinger, Licking, James Crutsinger, Belle, and Bob Crutsinger, Kansas City; three sisters, Mabel Rhoads, Centertown, Velma McCoy, Midway City, Calif., and Zina Schences, Bellevue, Wash.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Belle United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Koenig Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at Sassman's Funeral Home, Belle.
CARNEY
Georgia M. Carney, 80, Camdenton, died July 15, 1999, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital, Osage Beach.
She was born
June 8, 1919, in Rockville, a daughter of Herbert and Florida Cluck Holdner. She was married
June 1, 1940, to George L. Carney, who survives at the home.
She co-owned and co-operated Relax-A-Way Bay Resort, near Sunrise Beach. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Sunrise Beach, where she was church secretary.
Other survivors include: one son, George L. Carney Jr., Columbia; two daughters, Cheryl K. Smith, Hampton, Va., and Terry Johnston, Plano, Texas; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. John Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery, Laurie.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, Sunrise Beach.
BOCK
Elizabeth Marie Bock, 93, Freeburg, died July 16, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born
Sept. 24, 1905, in Freeburg, a daughter of Fritz B. and Elizabeth Hagenhoff Falter. She was married
Feb. 15, 1933, in Freeburg, to Alphonse Frederick Bock, who died Feb. 14, 1975.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia; Central Association of the Miraculous Medal; and St. Ann's Ladies Sodality.
Survivors include: one son, Arthur Bock, Freeburg; four daughters, Bernita Thoenen, Mexico, Marcella Bock, Fulton, Mildred Falter and Theresa Huber, both of Freeburg; four sisters, Cecelia Schwartze, Jefferson City, Anna Schwartze, and Matilda Wansing, both of Vienna, and Lidwina Colten, Fredericktown; 15 grandchildren, three step granddaughters, 16 great-grandchildren, six step great-grandchildren and one foster great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Robert A. Kurwicki will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Westphalia.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Westphalia, with a rosary at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia.
HENSLEY
Beverly I. Hensley, 45, Lake Ozark, died July 15, 1999, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born
July 31, 1953, in Washington, a daughter of Farris and Donna Cochran Whittle. She was married
in Iberia, to Dallas Hensley, who survives in Iberia.
She was employed with Osage Beach Healthcare Center as a nurse. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church, Iberia.
Other survivors include: one son, Joshua Lee Hensley, Iberia; one daughter, Rachel Lara Hensley, Iberia; two brothers, Earl Gene Whittle, Texas, and Timmy Ray Whittle, Illinois; four sisters, Joyce Ash, Illinois, Tammy Duncan, Iberia, Jane Jeffries and Judy Whittle, both of Lake Ozark.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach. The Rev. John Bouldry will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Iberia.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Sunday.

BEZA
Services were Saturday for Wongani Katumbi Beza, 33, Jefferson City, who died July 15, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born
Oct. 8, 1965, in Blantyre, Malawi, a daughter of Barclay and Zawiwe Luhanga Katumbi, who survive in Blantyre. She was married
in February 1993 in Blantyre to Lewis Beza, who survives at the home.
She was a 1984 graduate of Blantyre High School and a 1989 graduate of the University of Malawi, where she received a bachelor's of commerce in business administration. She was a student at Lincoln University, working on a master's degree in business administration.
She attended First Presbyterian Church.
Other survivors include: one son, Jabulani Beza, of the home; and three sisters, Fiona Katumbi, Lilongwe, Malawi, and Esther Nkonja and Sitha Katumbi, both of Blantyre, Malawi.
Services were at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. Aaron Madondo officiated.
Services also will be Wednesday in Mzimba, Malawi. Burial will be in the Mzimba Village Cemetery.
