SCHONDELMEYER

Nancy Lee Schondelmeyer, 82, Columbia, formerly of  Jefferson City, died Jan. 27, 2003, at Bluffs Nursing Home, Columbia.

She was born June 18, 1920, in Lebanon, Ky., a daughter of John L. and Lucy Burns Ward Wade. She was married June 11, 1945, in Lebanon, to Raymond A. Schondelmeyer, who died April 22, 2000.

She was a graduate of Lebanon High School. She attended Campbellsville College, Campbellsville, Ky., West Kentucky State Teachers' College, Bowling Green, Ky., and University of Missouri Extension. She taught elementary school in Kentucky and Missouri for 20 years and was district manager for Field Enterprises Educational Corporation/World Book Encyclopedias. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church,  Jefferson City, where she was active in many committees and organizations. She was a leader for the 4-H Club and was a volunteer for many activities in the community.

Survivors include: two sons, Dr. R. Wade Schondelmeyer and William R. "Bill" Schondelmeyer, both of Columbia; two daughters, Pamela Brown, Ames, Iowa, and Patty Nekula, St. Peters; one sister, Kathryn Greenwell, Louisville, Ky.; nine grandchildren, one step grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Rudolph W. Beard will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Buescher Memorial Home.

Memorials are suggested to the Schondelmeyer Trust Fund or the Stewarts Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Perpetual Care Trust Fund.

WYSS

Clarence Wyss, 92, Dixon, died Jan. 27, 2003, in Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla.

He was born Jan. 21, 1911, in Maries County, a son of John Jr., and Elizabeth Minze Wyss. He was married Oct. 25, 1933, in Vienna, to Zelpha Thompson, who survives at the home.

He was a carpenter, retiring in 1973. He was a member of the Rolla Carpenter's Union. He was a member of High Point Church of God, Dixon.

Other survivors include: one son, Larry Wyss, St. Charles; two daughters, Dolores Manes and JoAnn Martin, both of Dixon; two sisters, Ethel Ellis, Springfield, and Emillie Martin, Upland, Calif.; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon. The Rev. James D. Bailey will officiate. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today and from 10-11 a.m. Thursday.

Memorials are suggested to High Point Church of God, Dixon.

BELLAMY

Services were today for Geraldine Marie Bellamy, 87, Maryland Heights, formerly of Barnett, who died Jan. 28, 2003, at Brookview Nursing Home, Maryland Heights.

She was born Sept. 4, 1915, near Barnett, a daughter of Otto and Anna M. Widowski. She was married to Harvey Bellamy, who died Oct. 3, 1974.

Survivors include one son, Lee Don Bellamy, Bridgeton, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Todd Forman officiated. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery, near Barnett.

Memorials are suggested to Hopewell Union Church, near Barnett.

BOOKS

Barbara Jo Books, 72, Monte Vista, Colo., formerly of Fulton, died Jan. 28, 2003, in San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center, Alamosa, Colo.

She was born Jan. 31, 1930, in Alton, a daughter of Harry O. and Mary Lee Floyd Gum. She was married Feb. 2, 1952, in Alton, to Maurice Tate Books, who died in 1980.

She attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, receiving a bachelor's of science degree in home economics in 1952. She received her teaching certificate from the university in 1969. She taught high school home economics at South Callaway R-II in Mokane, retiring in 1988. She was a member of Hams Prairie Christian Church.

Survivors include: one son, Irvin Lee Books, Gainesville; one daughter, Peggy Jo Blenden, Monte Vista, Colo.; one sister, Betty Minich, Alton; and six grandchildren.

One son, James Neal, preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Hams Prairie Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton.

DeBOER

Milton A. DeBoer, 50,  Jefferson City, died Jan. 30, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born July 14, 1952, in Salida, Colo., a son of Kenneth R. and Mary R. Taylor DeBoer. His parents survive in Eldon.

He graduated from West High School, Bakersfield, Calif. A resident of the  Jefferson City area since 1984, he worked as a sales representative for  Jefferson City Auto Parts. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Other survivors include: two sisters, Mary Belinda Rameriz, Carmichael, Calif., and Novenda Smith, Nahunta, Ga.

Private family services will be conducted.

Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at Freeman Mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.

HANNA

Rose Irene Hanna, 94, Tipton, died Jan. 29, 2003, at her home.

She was born April 23, 1908, in Moniteau County, a daughter of James O. and Ollie Mae Newkirk Bookout. She was married Nov. 5, 1929, to Carl Vineyard Rennison, who preceded her in death. She was married Dec. 31, 1970, in Corder, to Zade Hanna, who died Nov. 12, 1991.

She moved to Warrensburg in 1955 and worked for Unitall Garment Factory. She moved back to Tipton in 2001.

Survivors include: one sister, Velma Sprigg, Tipton.

One son, Robert Carl Rennison, and one daughter, Thelma Lee Rennison, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Meisenheimer-Griswold Funeral Home, Tipton. The Rev. Harold Nicks will officiate. Burial will be in Moreau Cemetery, Tipton.

Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Friday.

HILL

Frank W. Hill, 36, Russellville, died Jan. 27, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born June 6, 1966, in Kansas City, Kan., a son of Forest G. and Virginia W. Kiger Hill. His father survives in High Point. His mother and stepfather, Virginia and Everett Reinhardt, survive in Latham. He was married Aug. 9, 2002, in Enon, to Tina Honeycutt, who survives at the home.

A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, he attended school in Latham and California. He was a laborer with the Davidson Construction Company at Lake of the Ozarks until his retirement.

Other survivors include: one son, Ryan J. Hill, Warrenton; three daughters, Jeanna Jo Hill and Alysha D. Hill, both of Warrenton, and Breanna L. Hill, of the home; five brothers, Charles Reinhardt and Casey Reinhardt, both of the state of  Oklahoma, Dewey Reinhardt, Stroud, Okla., Jim Hartley, California, and Earl Srader, Stover; six sisters, Julia M. DeGraff, Stroud, Okla., Twila D. Wilson, Branson, Christie A. Sandidge, Russellville, Melonie A. Hill, High Point, and Debbie Anderson and Amy Anderson, both of Lake Ozark;

Private services will be Saturday.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Freeman Mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to the Hill Children Educational Fund.

KEMP

Francis Kemp, 71, Mokane, died Jan. 28, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born Feb. 19, 1931, in Tebbetts, a son of Thomas A. and Bessie Marie Rogers Kemp.

He was a farmer and a member of Mokane Masonic Lodge 612.

Survivors include: five brothers, Cecil Kemp, Claude Kemp, Dean Kemp, Dale Kemp and Gale Kemp, all of Mokane; and two sisters, Lorene Pierce, Steedman, and Neva Shiverdecker, Mokane.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Bruce Williamson will officiate. Burial will be in Middle River Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to Middle River Cemetery.
