DYER
Marguerite Dyer, 89, California, died Feb. 3, 2003, at Moniteau Care Center, California.
She was born Dec. 23, 1913, near Barnett, a daughter of James and Neva Madole Kays. She was married Sept. 9, 1933, in Barnett, to Garland R. Dyer, who died Sept. 3, 1991.
She graduated from Barnett High School in 1933. She worked at Stride Rite Shoe Company in Tipton, retiring in 1979. She was a homemaker and a member of Green Ridge Baptist Church near Eldon.
Survivors include: one daughter, Wanda L. Speegle, California; one sister, Hazel Kays, California; four grandsons; eight great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
One daughter, Bonnie Dyer, died May 5, 1958.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in California City Cemetery. The Rev. Ken Mathes will officiate.
Visitation will be from 1-2:30 p.m. Thursday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.

FULTON
Christine Lynn "Tina" Fulton, 37, Montreal, died Feb. 2, 2003, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Osage Beach.
She was born April 29, 1965, in Onaway, Mich., a daughter of Donald A. and Carla Ann Hart Fulton, who survive in Green Cove Springs, Fla.
She moved to Lebanon in 1980 and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1983.
She worked as office manager for the family propane business in Florida for the past 11 years.
A Methodist, she recently moved to Montreal.
Other survivors include: one son, Garrett Scott Turley, of the home; three brothers, Shawn Fulton, Lansing, Mich., Bob Fulton, Lebanon, and Jerry Fulton, Gainesville, Ga.
Services will be at 5 p.m. today at Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon.
Visitation will be from 4-5 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to an education fund for Garrett Scott Turley.
GILMORE
Jack D. Gilmore, 70, Gladstone, died Feb. 3, 2003, at North Kansas City Hospital.
He was born in 1932 in Jefferson City, a son of Tony P. and Gussie Nelson Gilmore. He was married to Nora Gilmore, who survives.
He was owner of Cedar City Tile Company and was a builder for Gilmore Custom Homes. He was a member of Fairview Christian Church and was a Navy veteran.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Debbie Termini, Kansas City, and Rita Barbee; two sisters, Hazel Mello and Marilyn Winden; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Fairview Christian Church, Gladstone. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery, Gladstone.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at McGilley Antioch Chapel, Kansas City.
Memorials are suggested to Northcare Hospice.
HUNT
Gary Benjamin Hunt, 67, Jefferson City, died Feb. 3, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Feb. 19, 1935, in Porum, Okla., a son of William T. and Clo Payne Hunt. He was married Dec. 31, 1963, in Stilwell, Okla., to Veda Voncile Courtney, who survives at the home.
He graduated from Tahlequah High School, Tahlequah, Okla. He received a degree in arts and economics from Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, in 1959. He continued his graduate work in economics at the University of Oklahoma in Norman. He worked for the Missouri State Division of Family Services for 38 years, retiring as assistant area director for District 5 in Fulton. He also worked for the division in Cassville, Mountain Grove, Rolla and Jefferson City. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he served in leadership positions. He actively served in the communities where he lived. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Other survivors include: three sons, Doug Hunt, Maui, Hawaii, and Ron Hunt and Jack Hunt, both of Jefferson City; three daughters, Debra Milligan, Jefferson City, Cheryl Baker, East Prairie, and Amber Myers, Kearney; two sisters, Montez Kirpatrick and Twyla Brewer, both of Tahlequah; and 19 grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Bishop John Carron will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Missionary Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Buescher Memorial Home.
MEISTER
Caroline A. Meister, 79, Jefferson City, died Feb. 4, 2003, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 20, 1924, in Freeburg, a daughter of Alois G. and Hilda Minich Bauer. She was married July 20, 1941, in Jefferson City, to LeRoy Meister, who died May 5, 1991.
She attended schools in Rich Fountain.
She worked for Tweedie Shoe Factory.
She was a cafeteria cook at the Jefferson Building and Jefferson City High School until her retirement.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Women's Auxiliary.
Survivors include: two daughters, Carol J. Carter, Jefferson City, and Sandy K. Sneller, Holts Summit; one sister, Lucille Stephens, Joplin; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
One son, Ronald L. Meister, died Oct. 7, 1982.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Jerome Brownlee, the Rev. John Hobratschk and the Rev. Robert Sneller Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors.
Memorials are suggested to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund or Hospice House of Jefferson City.
STREIN
Edward Junior Strein, 73, Jefferson City, died Feb. 4, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Aug. 9, 1929, in Jamestown, a son of Edward and Lena Dalstein Strein. He was married May 19, 1962, in Jefferson City, to Delores Oliver Branson Strein, who survives at the home.
He attended Jamestown School. He worked at Callaway Nuclear Power Plant, Reform, and was a member of Christ Community Methodist Church, Jefferson City. He was a member of Labor Local 662. He served in the Army during the Korean War.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Jean Strein and Sharon Brown, both of North Augusta, S.C.; one stepson, Danny Branson, Belton; two sisters, Alma Boessen, Loose Creek, and Ruby Locke, Joplin; one granddaughter; one step granddaughter; and two step great-grandchildren.
One step grandson preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Russellville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Barry Hoskins will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in California City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, Jefferson City.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
CARSON
Kenneth Neil "Kenny" Carson, 50, Dixon, died Feb. 4, 2003, at Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla.
He was born Feb. 19, 1952, in Denver, a son of Lester and Edna Lee Schubert Carson. He was married July 11, 1970, in Dixon, to Carol Lou Campbell, who survives at the home.
He was owner and operator of Carson Construction Company, Dixon, which he founded in 1976.
Other survivors include: one son, Kirk Carson, O'Fallon; one daughter, Kimberly Arnold, Rolla; three brothers, Bill Carson, Illinois, Ron Carson, Union, and Jim Carson, Anniston, Ala.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon. The Rev. Randall Hoffman will officiate. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today and from 10-11 a.m. Friday.
