FORCK

Mathilda B. Forck, 85, Taos, died Feb. 6, 2003, at her home.

She was born June 28, 1917, in Taos, a daughter of Conrad and Elizabeth Bruemmer Kramer. She was married Oct. 7, 1950, to Louise Forck, who survives at the home.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Ann Sewing Circle for 30 years.

Other survivors include: one son, Daniel Forck,  Jefferson City; four daughters, Cynthia Forck and Bonnie Wakeland, both of Taos, Patricia Russell, Lohman, and Lu Ann Rockelman, Centertown; two sisters, Cyrilla Prenger, Taos, and Marie Wieberg, Argyle; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

One great-grandson preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. David Maher will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, Taos, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

MISTLER

Leonard M. Mistler, 81, Lake Ozark, died Feb. 4, 2003, at Lake Regional Health System.

He was born Dec. 12, 1921, in Owensville, a son of William and Maggie Fowler Mistler. He was married Feb. 28, 1948, in Hermann, to Wilma Carwile, who survives at the home.

He was owner and operator of a steel yard. He was a member of Horseshoe Bend Baptist Church and was a veteran of World War II.

Other survivors include: three sons, Ronald Mistler, Owensville, Michael Mistler,  Jefferson City, and Jeffrey Mistler, Eldon; two daughters, Lonnie Dianne Wiegers, Owensville, and Tracie Henningsen, Lake Ozark; two brothers, Milford Mistler, Osage Beach, and Chester Mistler, Owensville; one sister, Geraldine Graham, Owensville; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home, Owensville. Burial will be in Countryside Memorial Gardens, Owensville.

Visitation will be begin at 4:30 p.m. today.

POLLY

Frances "Fran" Polly, 63,  Jefferson City, died Feb. 4, 2003, in  Jefferson City.

She was born Sept. 13, 1939, in Kansas City, a daughter of Lawrence and Louella Harmon Gregg. She was married in Eldon to Billy Joe Polly, who died Sept. 19, 1990.

She was a homemaker living in the Eldon area for 30 years before moving to  Jefferson City.

Survivors include: three daughters, Debra Reed,  Jefferson City, Kathy Pompender, Long Beach, Calif., and Sabrina Polly, Louisville, Ky.; two stepsons, Joseph Polly and Patrick Polly, both of Michigan; two stepdaughters, Margreta Polly, Eldon, and Carol Polly, Michigan; one sister, Barbara Grimes, Long Beach; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Burial will be in Dooley Cemetery, Eldon.

Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to the family.

VOLKART

Clarence Everett Volkart, 83, Russellville, died Feb. 5, 2003, at California Care Center.

He was born May 17, 1919, in Moniteau County, a son of David and Mabel Howlett Volkart. He was married Sept. 12, 1943, in California, to Carmen Rose Williams, who survives at the home.

He was a lifelong farmer and a cattleman. He was a member of Corticelli Baptist Church. He was instrumental in organizing the Russellville Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of Russellville Masonic Lodge 90. He served on the Russellville school board for nine years.

Other survivors include: three sons, Gary Volkart and Randy Volkart, both of  Jefferson City, and Keith Volkart, Auxvasse; two daughters, Cheryl Krattle and Deanna Gesch, both of  Jefferson City; one brother, Dean Volkart, Russellville; two sisters, Jane Spieler and Doris Fulks, both of California; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

One infant son preceded him in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Corticelli Baptist Church. The Rev. Farrie L. Cole will officiate. Burial will be in Enloe Cemetery, Russellville.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Weber and Sons Funeral Home, Russellville.

Memorials are suggested to Lions Eye Bank Research.

BORGMEYER

Sr. Bernard Marie Borgmeyer, 88, San Antonio, Texas , died Feb. 5, 2003, at Incarnate Word Retirement Community, San Antonio.

She was born Sept. 1, 1914, in Taos, a daughter of Bernard and Mary Ann Taube Borg-meyer.

She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word in 1936. She made her first vows in 1939 and final vows in 1944. She received a bachelor's degree in nursing education from the University of the Incarnate Word (then Incarnate Word College) and a master' degree in health care administration from St. Louis University. She was the first president of Incarnate Word Health System. She served as nurse, nursing instructor, director of the School of Nursing, nursing supervisor, hospital administrator, chairperson of several hospital boards and patient representative in San Antonio, Amarrilo, Paris, and Corpus Christi, Texas . She also served in McAlester, Okla., and St. Louis. She served on the John G. and Stella Kenedy Memorial Foundation and received numerous awards for professional and humanitarian service.

Survivors include one sister, Sr. Felician Borgmeyer, St. Louis, and one brother, Raymond Borgmeyer.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Chapel of the Incarnate Word. Burial will be in the Convent Cemetery.

A rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. today at St. Joseph's Chapel of Incarnate Word Retirement Community.

Arrangements are under the direction of Angelus Funeral Home, San Antonio.

DAVIS

Laura M. Davis, 72, Camdenton, died Feb. 4, 2003, at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach.

She was born July 2, 1930, in Panama City, Fla., a daughter of Lewis and Nora Dyddil Johnston. She was married to William "Bill" Davis, who preceded her in death.

She was an office manager for a trucking company.

Survivors include: three sons, James "Mitch" Ellis, Florissant, Michael Ellis, Sunrise Beach, and Matthew Ellis, Gravois Mills; one brother, Mitchell Johnston, Midway, Ky.; two sisters, Maude Arnold, and Pauline Williams, both of Panama, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.

Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Saturday.

HAYES

Alma Louise Hayes, 75, Bunceton, formerly of Versailles, died Feb. 5, 2003, at Cooper County Hospital, Boonville.

She was born May 14, 1927, near Barnett, a daughter of John and Virginia McGinnis Gunn. She was married March 9, 1946, to Clifford L. Hayes, who died June 1, 1999.

She was a supervisor for Primo Pants, Versailles, and was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Gravois Mills.

Survivors include: one daughter, Jean Hurt, Bunceton; one brother, Wade Gunn, Peoria, Ill.; two sisters, Brooks Burkhart, Kliever, and Fannie Ewe, Washington , Ill.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Roy Bennett will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Saturday.

HEINRICH

Ruth B. Heinrich, 79,  Jefferson City, died Feb. 5, 2003, at her home.

She was born Sept. 30, 1923, in Fulton, a daughter of A.D. and Louise Moser Bridges. She was married in 1941 in Fulton to Willmott Jones, who died in 1945. She was married to C.H. "Jack" Heinrich, who died in 1967.

A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, she graduated from Fulton High School. She worked as office manager at Kroger Food Store for several years and as a fiscal officer with the Missouri Human Rights Commission. She retired as an office assistant with Kmart in 1985. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church,  Jefferson City, and the Women's Bowling Association.

Survivors include: five sons, Larry D. Jones, Claycomo, William D. Heinrich, Donald R. Heinrich, Edward K. Heinrich and Daniel L. Heinrich, all of  Jefferson City; one sister, Helen Bradley,  Jefferson City; 14 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Shane Crum will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today and from noon-1 p.m. Saturday.
