ROWETH
Kathleen "Kay" Roweth, 98, Jefferson City, died Feb. 9, 2003, in Shawnee, Kan.
She was born Oct. 23, 1904, in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, a daughter of Alvin and Lucy Jane Bartle Winters. She was married in 1927, in Kansas City, to Chester W. Roweth, who died in 1994.
She lived in Bonner Springs, Kan., in the early 1930's. In 1968 she moved to Jefferson City. Her husband was founder of C.W. Roweth Co., in Jefferson City and Kansas City.
Survivors include: one daughter, Vickie McEnroe, Shawnee, Kan.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Episcopal Church.
Memorials are suggested to Grace Episcopal Church or St. Francis Boys Home, Salina, Kan.
Arrangements are under the direction of Amos Family Funeral Home, Shawnee, Kan.
WILLIAMS
Mary Norma Williams, 84, Jefferson City, died Feb. 9, 2003, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born Feb. 10, 1918, in Kensett, Ark., a daughter of Henry H. and Willie T. Goodlow Smith. She was married Oct. 19, 1945, in Oklahoma City, to Arthur Richardson, who preceded her in death. She was married in 1960 in Denver, to Addison Crump Williams, who preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Ft. Smith, Ark. She was housekeeper for private families in Denver for many years before moving to Jefferson City in 1996. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Denver and attended Second Baptist Church, Jefferson City.
Survivors include: two sisters, Alice Williams and Hattie Bogard, both of Jefferson City.
One infant daughter preceded her in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. The Rev. Cornell C. Sudduth Sr., will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.

DUNHAM
Hazel Belle Reese Dunham, 93, Versailles, died Feb. 10, 2003, at Carroll County Hospital, Carrollton.
She was born Sept. 2, 1909, near Arnett, Okla., a daughter of William L. and Jincy Sultana Pamelia Stewart Reese. She was married Nov. 30, 1933, to James Preston Dunham, who died March 1, 1991.
She was a homemaker and a member of Versailles United Methodist Church. She was active in the Garden Club, Extension Club and was instrumental in researching Indian Trail and Thong Trees in Morgan County.
Survivors include: two sons, James P. Dunham Jr., Norborne, and John A. Dunham Sr., Versailles; one daughter, Ardyth Hazel Cox, Springfield; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Jincy Ann Edmundson, died Oct. 19, 1983.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Gailya Dow will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Sedalia.
Visitation will be from noon-1 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials are suggested to Versailles United Methodist Church music fund.
EICHENBERG
Barion Kathleen Eichenberg, 60, Garner, N.C., died Feb. 9, 2003.
She was born Nov. 11, 1942, in Washington , D.C., a daughter of Barnett and Iona Hudson Eichenberg.
She grew up in the St. Louis area and graduated from Jewish Hospital School of Nursing in 1963. She received a bachelor of science degree from McKendre College, Lebanon, Ill., and a master of science in interdisciplinary studies and a master of science in social work, both from the University of Texas .
She was commissioned into the Air Force as a second lieutenant and attained the rank of captain before retirement in 1975. She served as clinical director for Foundation Community Mental Health; psychotherapist for Caraway and Irving Behavioral Modification Consultant; licensed MSW/RN for Christian Health Clinic. She worked for Alpha and Omega Family Center in Ft. Worth and Big Heart Ministries, Dallas. She was active in Dallas International Street Church and was founder/director of the Change Christian Counseling Center, Arlington, Texas . She was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include: one brother, M. George Eichenberg, Killeen, Texas ; one sister, Marsha E. Cook, Garner, N.C.
Graveside services with military honors will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Hartsburg.
Visitation will be from 1-2:30 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Hartsburg.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Robinson Funeral Home, Ashland.
FOX
John Charles Fox Sr., 40, Stover, died Feb. 9, 2003, at his home.
He was born May 31, 1962, in Independence, a son of Walter Wells and Nancy Jane Gee Fox. His mother and stepfather, Nancy and Nolan Glauner, survive in Sibley. He was married May 1, 1982, to Mary Parker, who survives at the home.
He was a 1980 graduate of Fort Osage High School, Buckner. He worked as an independent contractor with the Kansas City Star and the Independence Examiner on the rural paper routes for 20 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Restored 1830, Stover.
Other survivors include: one son, John Charles Fox Jr., of the home; two sisters, Sarah Jane Sieker, Stover, and Catherine Fox, Sibley.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in West Lawn Addition of Versailles Cemetery. Patriarch Robert MacDonald and Seventy Nolan Glauner will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Versailles.
HOOPER
Beulah Edith Hooper, 91, Lafayette, Ind., formerly of Camdenton, died Feb. 9, 2003, in Lafayette Regency Place Care Center.
She was born Nov. 19, 1911, in Pawnee County, Neb., a daughter of Ernest and Myrtle Dollie Neal Thiemann. She was married to James Ernest "Ernie" Hooper, who died in 1981.
She was a homemaker and a registered nurse. She moved to Camdenton in 1952 and worked for Allee-Reed Funeral Home for several years and was a member of First Baptist Church. She lived in Lawton, Okla., for several years where she was a member of First Baptist Church and taught Sunday school. She moved to Lafayette in 1998.
Survivors include: two sons, Billy E. Hooper, Lafayette, and James R. Hooper, Bayfield, Colo.; four brothers, Ross Thiemann, Dick Thiemann and Everett Thiemann, all of Pawnee County, Neb., and Edgar Thiemann, Versailles; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
One son, John Harrison Hooper, and one daughter, Sylvia Irene Martin, preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Laughlin Cemetery. The Rev. Dennis North will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.
KOTYLA
Stephan Kotyla, 87, Bowling Green, formerly of Fulton, died Feb. 7, 2003, at Pike County Nursing Service, Bowling Green.
He was born Aug. 1, 1915, in Poland, a son of Adam and Maria Rembice Kotyla.
He was a factory worker for a steel company.
Private burial services will be today in Summit Memorial Park, Holts Summit.
Arrangements are under the direction of Debo Funeral Home.
LEMEN
Blanche Lemen, 97, Atlanta, Ga., formerly of California, died Feb. 7, 2003, in Atlanta.
She was born June 5, 1905, in Parkerville, Kan., a daughter of Edmund and Gypsie Peters Hirt. She was married to Warren S. Lemen, who died in 1971.
She attended Kansas State University. She worked for American Express Company. She lived for a short time in Des Moines, Iowa, moving to California in 1931. She and her husband bought Cox Variety Store which became Lemen Variety Store and was later known as Lemen's Ben Franklin 5 & 10 Store. The operated the store for 34 years. She and her husband also owned Strout Reality. She was active in the United Methodist Women, the Moniteau County Historical Society and was a charter member of the GL Chapter of the PEO and was a member of Sisterhood of California. She moved to Atlanta and lived at Wesley Woods Geriatric Center of Emory University.
Survivors include: one son, Richard Allen Lemen, Big Canoe, Ga.; two grandchildren.
One son, Charles Lemen, died in 1940.
The body was cremated under the direction of the Cremation Society of Georgia, Atlanta.
