McCRARY
Dorothy Bee Culp McCrary, 81, Jefferson City, died Feb. 8, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Aug. 26, 1921, in Holland, a daughter of John and Beatrice Culp. She was married May 17, 1941, to Aldon W. McCrary, who died Feb. 1, 1991.
Survivors include: three sons, Jim McCrary, Perryville, John McCrary, St. Louis, and Sam McCrary, Scottsdale, Ariz.; one daughter, Pam Coffey, Jefferson City; three sisters; 14 grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Two grandsons preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Stygar and Sons Chapel, St. Louis. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday.
MOORE
Ruth D. Moore, 83, Sunrise Beach, died Feb. 7, 2003, at Laurie Care Center.
She was born Jan. 1, 1920, in Rincon, N.M., a daughter of Donlee R. and Blanch A. Buster Cushman.
She was a secretary for the Kansas City Association for the Blind and owned Diana's Ceramics.
Survivors include: one son, Jim Davis, Yorba Linda, Calif; three daughters, Karen Brown, Sunrise Beach, Diana Drain, Adkins, Texas , and Karol Chessor, Springfield; 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The body was donated to the University of Missouri School of Medicine, Columbia.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Homes, Laurie.
PIPES
William D. "Billy" Pipes, 59, Versailles, died Feb. 8, 2003, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born July 25, 1943, in Kirksville, a son of Glen and Nellie Sousley Pipes. His mother survives in Versailles.
Survivors include: four sons, Gary Don Gier, Versailles, Larry Joe Gier and Scottie Gier, both of Russellville, and Eddie Pipes, Jefferson City; one stepson, Jerry Iman, Gravois Mills; two brothers, Earl Wayne Pipes and Glen Pipes Jr., both of Versailles; three sisters, Juanita Daniels, Kirksville, Wilma Monteer, Stover, and Wanda Merriott, Columbia; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 11:45 a.m. Thursday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. Dallas Moritz will officiate. Burial will in Versailles Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-noon Thursday.
ROBERTS
Peggy Ann Sapp Roberts, 48, Holts Summit, died Feb. 10, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born May 27, 1954, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Lloyd C. "Pete" and Evelyn Ann Basinger Sapp. She was married July 6, 1973, in Hartsburg, to Danny Thomas Roberts, who survives at the home.
She lived in the Hartsburg and Ashland area, moving to Holts Summit in 1976. She was a 1972 graduate of Southern Boone County R-1 School, Ashland. She graduated from Columbia College of Hairstyling in 1973, receiving a state cosmetologist's license. She worked from 1973-1975 for the Magic Mirror Salon in Ashland, the Novelty Shop, Holts Summit and Castilian Hair Fashions, Jefferson City. She also worked for TG&Y Stores in Jefferson City for a short time.
In 1976 she worked for the Missouri State Department of Revenue, drivers license bureau until 1978. She then worked for Westlake Hardware until 1990. She returned to work at the Missouri State Department of Revenue taxation division until 1996. She was an independent beauty consultant for Aloette Cosmetics. She was a published author and a member of Union Hill Baptist Church, Holts Summit.
Survivors include: two sons, Christopher Michael Roberts, Jefferson City, and Adam Joe Roberts, Holts Summit; three brothers, Russell Dean Sapp and Victor Ray Sapp, both of Hartsburg, and Elmer Loyd Sapp, Centralia; two sisters, Marjorie "Arlene" Steelman, Columbia, and Kathie Sue Priest, New Bloomfield.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home, Ashland. The Rev. Craig Galbreath and Deacon Jim Browner will officiate. Burial will be in Bonds Chapel Cemetery, Hartsburg.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.

ROTHOVE
Mildred Rothove, 77, Fulton, formerly of Columbia, died Feb. 10, 2003, at Fulton Presbyterian Manor.
She was born Feb. 20, 1925, in Tebbetts, a daughter of Benjamin and Hester Freeman Spencer.
She worked at the shoe factory in Fulton for many years and for Kingdom Nursing Home.
Survivors include: one son, Duane Rothove, Fulton; one daughter, Freida Rothove, Fulton; one brother, John Spencer, Holts Summit; one sister, Lucinda Zeugin, Fulton; four grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Ridge Bull Cemetery, Holts Summit. Bruce Williamson will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton.

WARNEKE
Mary Frances "Fran" Warneke, 78, Lake Ozark, died Feb. 9, 2003, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
She was born March 3, 1924, in Kamrar, Iowa, a daughter of Ray and Fern Meyer Daniels. She was married April 15, 1942, in Tampa, Fla., to Charles E. Warneke, who survives at the home.
She worked for the United States Postal Service and was postmaster at the Lake Ozark post office for 18 years, retiring in 1986.
Other survivors include: one son, Ricky Warneke, Maine; one daughter, Sandy Mulcahy, Fenton; one brother, Jack Daniels, Des Moines, Iowa; one sister, Shirlee Daniels, Long Beach, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
The body was cremated. Inurnment will be at a later date in Iowa.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
BUCHMAN
Barbara "Joan" Buchman, 74, Camdenton, died Feb. 10, 2003, at Lake of the Ozarks Retirement Center.
She was born Sept. 13, 1928, in Newton, Iowa, a daughter of Jack P. and Hazel Connor Santen. She was married May 2, 1947, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, to Ralph Edward "Buck" Buchman, who survives at the home.
She and her husband owned and operated the Point View Resort, Camdenton, until retirement. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Camdenton.
Other survivors include: two sons, Dan Buchman, Norwich, Conn., and David Buchman, Osage Beach; two daughters, Debra Buchman, Columbia, and Barbara Ruehter, Camdenton; two sisters, Nancy Carr, Koekuk, Iowa, and Linda Johnson, Montrose, Iowa; and nine grandchildren.
Her stepfather, Harry Spencer, and her stepmother, Daisy Santen, preceded her in death.
Services will be at noon Thursday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Laughlin Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-noon Thursday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Lake of the Ozarks Developmental Center, P.O. Box 753, Camdenton, Mo. 65020.

KIRSCHKE
Alan Ernest Kirschke Sr., 65, Camdenton, died Feb. 10, 2003, at Lake Regional Health Systems, Osage Beach.
He was born Aug. 23, 1937, in Oberlin, Kan., a son of Fred and Relma McCartney Kirschke. His mother survives in Lakewood, Colo. He was married Feb. 24, 1960, in Denver, to Janice G. Kennard, who survives at the home.
He worked in Denver as a loan officer for Jefferson Bank and Trust for 19 years. He moved to Camdenton where he owned and operated the 5-81 Motel and Trailer Park until 1982. He then worked for High Brothers Lumber Yard and Reich's, retiring in 1997. He was a Methodist. He volunteered for the Missouri Conservation Department in wildlife rehabilitation. He was a Navy veteran.
Other survivors include: three sons, Patrick Kirschke, Michael Kirschke, and Alan Kirschke Jr., all of Camdenton; two daughters, Arlyne Page, Camdenton, and Daelyne Ford, Anchorage, Alaska; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Jim High will deliver a eulogy
