FRY
Ollie Mae Fry, 88, Tipton, died Feb. 17, 2003, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.
She was born Aug. 6, 1914, in Tipton, a daughter of John L. and Edna B. Kay Vaught. She was married Nov. 27, 1935, in Sedalia, to William Melvin Fry, who died in 1972.
She was a 1930 graduate of Tipton High School. She retired from Weber Shoe Company, where she worked for 27 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Tipton.
Survivors include: one son, Gary Fry, Tipton; one daughter, Colleen Keevil, Rolla; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
One son, Jimmy Kay Fry, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. James Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Tipton.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Meisenheimer-Griswold Funeral Home, Tipton.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
GASPER
Elaine Naomi Gasper, 70, Golden Beach Community, near Barnett, died Feb. 17, 2003, at Lake Regional Health System.
She was born April 26, 1932, in St. Joseph, a daughter of John C. and Dortha Ginter Smith. She was married Jan. 1, 1992, to Robert Gasper, who survives at the home.
She was a retired dietary cook at Heartland West Hospital, St. Joseph.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Toni Marie Hoyt, Kansas City, Judith Ann Stevens, St. Joseph, and Jeanne Stringfield, Bennington, Vt.; three stepsons, Mike Gasper, Stewartsville, Harry Gasper, Hemple, and Rodney Gasper, Leon, Kan., and three other stepsons; two stepdaughters, Bonzieta Winterringer, St. Joseph, and Mary Garrett, Leon, Kan., three other stepsons and two other stepdaughters; one brother, David Smith, Texas ; one sister, Helene Hoover; and several grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in West Lawn Addition of Versailles Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
HULL
Donald G. Hull, 71, Eldon, died Feb. 17, 2003, in Eldon.
He was born Nov. 29, 1931, in Miller County, a son of Jesse and Pearl Crown Hull.
He was a farmer and an Army veteran.
Survivors include: six sons, David Lee Hull, Steven Hull, Aaron Hull, Donald Gene Hull Jr., and John Paul Hull, all of Wichita, Kan., and Mark Hull, Eldon; three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Hays, Patricia Harvey and Kathryn L. King, all of Wichita; two brothers, Hansford Hull, Gifford, Ill., and Jimmy Hull, state of Florida; two sisters, Mary Lou Davis and Nina Mangrum, both of Wartrace, Tenn.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services with full military honors by VFW Post 2442, Eldon, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Dooley Cemetery, Eldon. The Rev. Jasper Hunter will officiate.
Visitation will be from noon-1:30 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
MARTIN
Ruby Lee Martin, 79, Jefferson City, died Feb. 17, 2003.
She was born June 17, 1923, in Callaway County, a daughter of Douglas and Myrtle Burnette Ashlock. She was married April 12, 1952, in Jefferson City, to Raymond Martin, who died April 2, 1999.
She was a homemaker and a member of Southridge Baptist Church, Jefferson City.
Survivors include: one son, David Martin, Jefferson City; two daughters, Linda Sue "Susie" Dunn, Jefferson City, and Brenda Johnson, Overland Park, Kan.; two sisters, Marie Wilson, Pinellas Park, Fla., and Betty Kujawka, Eldon; and five grandchildren
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Southridge Baptist Church. The Rev. Jim Walker will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Debo Funeral Home, Holts Summit.
Memorials are suggested to Mo-River Hospice, Columbia.
PARKER
Lewis R. Parker, 84, Sunrise Beach, died Feb. 18, 2003, at his home.
He was born Nov. 13, 1918, in Kansas City, a son of Roy G. Sr. and Mary Fannie Wright Parker. He was married to Kathleen R. Wild. He was married to Margaret Estella Thompson, who preceded him in death.
He was retired from the City of Kansas City.
Survivors include: two daughters, Ellen Goodwin, Sunrise Beach, and Judith Maddox, Buena Park, Calif.; one brother, Carl Parker, Independence; three sisters, Trisha Turner and Gladys Wiggins, both of Independence, and Berneice Thornton, Park, Ark.; and eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery, Laurie.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
BECKETT
Graveside services were Monday for Nancy C. Beckett, 96, Jefferson City, who died Feb. 13, 2003, at Oakview Living Center.
She was born Nov. 17, 1906, in Auxvasse, a daughter of Bernard and Susan Henderson Campbell. She was married in 1932, to Leo F. Beckett, who died July 4, 1969.
She was a 1924 graduate of Auxvasse High School and attended Synodical College in Fulton.
She was a teacher in Auxvasse until 1932. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson City.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Marsh, St. Charles, one granddaughter and one great-great-granddaughter.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m Sunday at First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Rudolph W. Beard will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to First Presbyterian Church Pre School or the K Plus Program.

JOHNSON
Ethel Geneva Johnson, 96, Gravois Mills, died Feb. 19, 2003, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
She was born Oct. 2, 1906, in Oakland, Neb., a daughter of Emil and Christina Lindstead Johnson. She was married March 20, 1929, in Pender, Neb., to Paul Herman Johnson, who died Feb. 19, 1989.
She was a homemaker and a member of Kent Memorial Lutheran Church, Sunrise Beach.
Survivors include: two sons, Richard P. Johnson, Gravois Mills, and Stanley C. Johnson, Leavenworth, Kan.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Greenmore Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Barnett. Pastor Eugene Moll will officiate.

HUGHES
LaVerne Joseph Hughes, 83, Jefferson City, died Feb. 19, 2003, at Oak Tree Villas.
He was born Nov. 16, 1919, in Freeport, Ill., a son of Clarence J. and Lorena L. Jogerst Hughes. He was married Feb. 8, 1947, in Jefferson City, to Alma Marie Kemna, who died Feb. 3, 1999.
He was a 1937 graduate of Aquin High School, Freeport, Ill. He worked for Roy Scheperle Construction Company for 11 years and for 20 years with the State of Missouri, most recently as chief accountant and budget officer with the Department of Consumer Affairs. He retired in 1981. He also operated a private accounting and tax service until 1987. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. He was a Fourth Degree Assembly of the Knights of Columbus and belonged to the Holy Name Society. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, VFW and was a volunteer with the Meals-on-Wheels program, the Samaritan Center and the Heart of Missouri Girl Scout Council. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: three daughters, Janice A. Hughes, Kansas City, Mary Lou Hines, Fairfax, Va., and Brenda Scheppers, Jefferson City; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church. The Rev. James M. Smith will officiate. Entombment with military honors will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Capitol Improvement Fund or Helias High School Building Fund.
