HEYER
Herbert H. Heyer, 73, Vienna, died Feb. 22, 2003, at the University of Missouri-Columbia Hospitals and Clinics.
He was born Aug. 22, 1929, Belle, a son of Henry and Grace Hemme Heyer. He was married March 27, 1970, to Jane Brumble, who preceded him in death.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Byron Methodist Church, Byron. He retired from the Department of Corrections in 1995.
Survivors include: two sons, Roy Heyer, Belle, and Steve Heyer, Jefferson City; two step daughters, Marilyn Degenhadt and Judy Slavens, both of Jefferson City; a brother, Bobby Heyer, Belle; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes. The Rev. Jerome Brownlee will officiate. Burial will be in the Wheeler Cemetery, Dixon.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday and 1-2 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the Wheeler Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
HOLLEY
Harold E. Holley, 84, Jefferson City, died Feb. 22, 2003, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born April 1, 1918, in Fairfield, a son of Sam and Edna Holley. He was married in 1946, to Geraldine Hayter, who survives. He was married Sept. 17, 1965, in Jefferson City, to Nancy Baker, who died April 21, 1982. He was married July 18, 1992, in Bella Vista, Ark., to Virginia Bushie, who survives at the home.
He was a 1936 graduate of Warsaw High School and attended William Jewel College and Central Missouri State University.
He was a teacher and coach at Warsaw High School. He owned and operated Warsaw Produce Company until 1963. He worked for Hales and Hunter Food Company, later purchased by the Cargill Co., from 1963 until his retirment in 1981. He was named Man of the Year in 1970 and 1971 for sales and was named to the Cargill Presidents Club in 1978.
He was a member of the Community Christian Church and former director of the Cole County chapter of the American Cancer Society. He had lived in the Jefferson City area since 1963.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Connie Jean Brockert, Overland Park, Kan.; two step-sons, Ed Brown, state of California, and Tim Bushie, Fulton; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. David Avery will officiate. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia.
Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday.
Memorials are suggested to the Community Christian Church.
HOLLANDSWORTH
Shana Marie Hollandsworth, 24, Dixon, died Feb. 23, 2003, at her home.
She was born May 1, 1978, in Lansing, Mich., a daughter of Gene and Cindy Veach, who survive in Dixon.
She worked as a nursery child care provider at Pride-N-Joy Day Care, Dixon.
Other survivors include: one son, Chase Michael Hollandsworth, of the home; two brothers, Jason Veach, Las Vegas, and Jonathan Veach, Dixon; two sisters, Samantha Robinett, Roach, and Amanda Norton, Rolla; paternal grandmother, Julia Veach, Dixon; and maternal grandmother, Arlene Marshall, Dixon.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon. Pastor Billy Reese will officiate. Private burial will be in Dixon Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.

CATES
Sandra "Sue" Steen Cates, 61, Austin, Texas , died Feb. 23, 2003, in Austin.
She was born March 26, 1941, in Iberia, a daughter of Holmes and Elva Boyd Steen. Her mother survives in Eldon. She was married June 24, 1983, in Chesterfield, to Allan Cates, who survives at the home.
She was a dental assistant and a member of Independent Christian Churches.
Other survivors include: one son, Brent Alan Gardner, Columbia; one daughter, Beth Bishop, Austin, Texas ; one stepson, Tim Cates, Dickinson, Texas ; one stepdaughter, Alys Macias, Round Rock, Texas ; one brother, Don Steen, Eldon; four sisters, Sharron Holder and Janie Davis, both of Eldon, Shirley Woolsey, Santiago, Chile, and Judy Pryor, Stilwell, Kan; three grandchildren; and four step grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ninth St. Christian Church. Craig Woolsey and the Rev. Tom Farrington will officiate. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery, Iberia.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
Memorials are suggested to Williams Cemetery, Iberia.
MUENKS
Dorothy Muenks, Fulton, died Feb. 16, 2003, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
Arrangements are at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton.
BUSBY
Ruth Busby, 93, Jefferson City, died Feb. 17, 2003, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born Oct. 1, 1909, a daughter of Alonzo and Mary Balkey Busby.
She graduated from Research Hospital Nursing School in 1931. She worked in Jackson County as a visiting nurse and for the Jackson County Red Cross.
She worked for District 3 Division of Health in Jefferson City as a nurse supervisor, retiring in 1975.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Survivors include two nephews, William Busby and Michael Busby.
Private graveside services will be in Monroe Cemetery, Ludlow, at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to Villa Marie Activities Fund, 1030 Edmonds St., Jefferson City, Mo. 65109.
Arrangements are under the direction of Weber and Sons Funeral Home, California.
WILLIAMS
Russell Alan Williams, 37, Camdenton, died Feb. 20, 2003, near Linn Creek, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born May 4, 1965, in Rolla, a son of Franklin D. and Nellie Roberts Williams. His mother, Nellie Boudinot, survives in Camdenton. He was married July 24, 1993, to Crystal D. Sontag, who survives at the home.
He moved to Camdenton in 2000 and worked at Lake Regional Health Systems since 2001.
Other survivors include: one brother, Stephan Williams, Kings Tree, S.C.; one sister, Deborah Williams, Baltimore; two stepbrothers, John Boudinot, Ashland, and Larry Boudinot, Denver; and one stepsister, Rita Ivy, Macon.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Steve Williams will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
WILLIAMS
Services were Saturday for Russell Alan Williams, 37, Camdenton, who died Feb. 20, 2003, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Linn Creek.

Services were at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Stephen Williams officiated. Burial was in the Roach Cemetery, Roach.
