BRAECKEVELDT
Frances H. Braeckeveldt, 81, Eldon, died Feb. 27, 2003, at her home.
She was born June 10, 1921, in Chicago, a daughter of Nicholas and Hattie Ahr. She was married July 1, 1950, in Chicago, to Louis Braeckeveldt, who preceded her in death.
She was a parts inspector for a Tele-Type Corp. She was a member of the AT&T Pioneer Club and the Holts Summit Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors include Janice Swanson, Eldon, and one grandson.
One daughter, Sandra Ann Braeckeveldt, preceded her in death.
No services are planned.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach.
BURRISS
Raymond Lee Burriss, 81, Sunrise Beach, died Feb. 28, 2003, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.
He was born Sept. 14, 1921, In Warrensburg, a son of Aubrey F. and Minnie Catherine Custer Burris. He was married April 2, 1946, in Fayette to Floura Maye Lawson, who survives at the home.
He was a janitor at Raytown South High School, Raytown, for several years, then worked 36 years for Vendos Vending Co., Kansas City. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a Baptist.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Janet Lee Ray, Sunrise Beach, and Betty Ruth Wilhelme, Campbell Sport, Wis.; one sister, Ruth Virginia Copas, Sedalia; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Kidwell-Garber Laurie-Sunrise Beach Chapel in Laurie, with Pastor Dick Sanders officiating. Burial will be in the Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery, Laurie.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.
HEILWAGEN
Dorothy Heilwagen, 74, Mexico, died Feb. 27, 2003, at Audrain Medical Center.
She was born March 22, 1928, in Maywood, a daughter of Forrest and Nellie Arlene Enlow Jackson. She was married Nov. 3, 1946, in Hannibal, to Ray Heilwagen, who survives at the home.
She had been a licensed practical nurse at Aurdain Medical Center, retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Kristen Sudbrock, Columbia, Dee Dee Stratman, Jefferson City, Tammy Lederle, Mexico, and Judy Pursifull, Fulton; and six grandchildren.
Three sons preceded her in death: Gary Ray Heilwagen, Don Wayne Heilwagen and Jeffrey Lee Heilwagen.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Pickering Funeral Home, Mexico. Fr. Henry Reichert will officiate. Burial will be in St. Brendan Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
LAWSON
John Lawson Sr., 66, Lake Ozark, died Feb. 27, 2003, in Osage Beach.
He was born July 16, 1936, in Ponca City, Okla., a son of Elvis and Ruth Johnson Lawson. He was married Sept. 16, 1954, in Ponca City, to Clora J. Keller, who survives at the home.
He was a manager at Amusement Centers, Lake Ozark. He attended Honey Springs Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: one son, John Lawson Jr., Brumley, and Leroy Lawson, Lathrop; two brothers, E.J. Lawson, Supulpa, Okla., and James Lawson, Ponca City; one sister, Cleta Clark, Supulpa; and four grandchildren.
One son, Elvis Stanley Lawson, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Bro. Robert McGuire will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
RAYHART
Betty Jean Rayhart, 55, Rocky Mount, died Feb. 27, 2003, in Rocky Mount.
She was born Jan. 27, 1948, in Eldon, a daughter of Perry and Omega Whittle Birdsong-Baughman. She was married Aug. 3, 1986, in Eldon, to Ray Rayhart, who survives at the home.
She was a city clerk the city of Eldon.
She was a member of the American Business Women's Association, Missouri City Clerks and Finance Officers Associations, the International Institute of Municipal Clerks and was a youth leader at New Life Assembly of God Church, Barnett.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Jeanette Lee, Rayetta Smith and Debbie Silvey, all of Eldon, and Robyn Rayhart, Glen Carbon, Ill.; four sons, Eddie Edgar and Donnie Edgar, both of Cole Camp; Raymond Rayhart III, Orlando, Fla., and Mike Rayhart, Eldon; one brother, Jim Baughman, Morrisville, N.C.; and 16 grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Gene Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
WIEBERG
Glen Wieberg, 50, Argyle, died Feb. 27, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Aug. 4, 1952, in Argyle, a son of Tobias and Dolores Stegeman Wieberg. He was married Sept. 30, 1978, in Argyle, to Donna Schwaartze, who survives at the home.
He was plant supervisor for Play-Mor Trailers, Westphalia, for 34 years. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Argyle. He was a member of the Argyle Volunteer Fire Department, the Argyle town board, Argyle Senior Housing board and was current treasurer for Argyle Knights of Columbus Council 2047.
Other survivors include: two sons, Christopher Wieberg, Argyle and Ryan "Pico" Wieberg, Houston, Texas ; four brothers, James Wieberg, Jefferson City, Gary Wieberg, Freeburg, Richard "Dick" Wieberg and Michael Wieberg, both of Argyle; two sisters, Pat Steinman, Argyle, and Lisa Sandbothe, Folk.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. The Rev. John Schmitz and the Rev. Mike Murphy will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, with a vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Monday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Masses or to the Argyle Volunteer Fire Department.
DURHAM
Evelyn "June" Durham, 71, Alamo, Texas -- formerly of Monett -- died Feb. 27, 2003, at the McCallen Medical Center, McCallen, Texas .
She was born June 24, 1931, in Monett, a daughter of Dan and Cora England May. She was married Sept. 2, 1956, in Pittsfield, Ill., to Paul Durham, who survives at the home.
She was a hair stylist.
Other survivors include: two sons, Stanley Durham, Jefferson City, and Mark Durham, Eugene; one daughter, Connie Sayers, Jefferson City; three sisters, Sue Shumaker, Miami, Okla., Mary Homesley, Cassville, and Martha Foster, Sheldon; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, with the Rev. Bob McQueen officiating. Burial will be in the Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
McKEE
Keith J. McKee, 80, California, died March 1, 2003, at his rural home.
He was born Nov. 29, 1922, in Tronto, Iowa, a son of Ora L. and Neva Pearl Schrier McKee. He was married Oct. 10, 1959, in Albert Lea, Minn., to Rosalee Zastrow, who survives at the home.
He was a 1941 graduate of Morrison High School, Morrison, Ill., and was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He was a farmer and also worked as a plasterer.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Megan McKee, California, and Kimberly Mueller, Clark; one step-son, Guy Zastrow, Blue Springs; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
One grandson preceded him in death.
There will be no services or burial.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
