BAILEY
William "Bill" Edward Bailey Jr., 79, Auxvasse, died March 13, 2003, at Missouri Veterans Home, Mexico.
He was born June 6, 1923, in St. Louis, a son of William E. Sr., and Ina Esther Paul Bailey. He was married Feb. 5, 1943, in Jefferson City, to Ruby Jewel Branch, who died Feb. 5, 1997.
He was a brick setter for Kaiser Refractories and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: five sons, Edward Bailey and Dwayne Bailey, both of Auxvasse, Bruce Bailey, Missouri, Ricky Bailey and Larry Bailey, both of Mexico; seven daughters, Eileene Archer, Mt. Vernon, Tammy Buckholz, Fulton, Ina Snyder, Rush Hill, Shirley VanVactor, Green Ridge, Gloria Durham and Sherry Lynn Walker, both of Mexico, and Barbara Bartlet, state of Florida; one brother, David Bailey, Barnhart; 38 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Willie Bailey and Randy Bailey, and two daughters, Edith Bailey and Khristinia Bailey, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Debo Funeral Home, Holts Summit. The Rev. Rob Ayers will officiate. Burial will be in Bull Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today.

GLOVER
James Richard Glover, 51, Newark, died March 12, 2003, at his home.
He was born May 7, 1951, in Kirksville, a son of Kenneth K. and Rita Virginia Lear Glover. His stepmother, Gerry Glover survives in Hannibal.
He graduated from Knox County High School in 1969 and attended Kirksville Vocational Technical School. He was a farmer for 30 years. He was a member of Newark Christian Church.
Survivors include: two brothers, Kenneth Glover and Alan Glover, both of Newark; and one sister, Carolyn Killday, Holts Summit.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Coder Funeral Chapel, LaBelle. The Rev. Jamie Franke will officiate. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice 2000 or Newark Cemetery.
HANKINS
James Wiley Hankins, 69, Fortuna, died March 13, 2003, at his home.
He was born June 26, 1933, in Bentonville, Ark., a son of James A. and Edith Mae Woodell Hankins. His mother survives in Lee's Summit. He was married Nov. 25, 1950, to Imagene White , who survives at the home.
He worked for Sanders Plumbing and Heating and O'Dell Plumbing, owned Hankins Ditching and operated a service station in Fortuna.
He was a member of the Hoisting Engineers Local 101 and former president of the Silver Shoes Square Dance Club.
Other survivors include: three sons, Mike Hankins, Olathe, Kan., James Hankins, Blue Springs, and Kevin Hankins, of the home; two daughters, Vicki Houseman and Cheryl Clay, both of Syracuse; one sister, Betty Hale, Lee's Summit; two brothers, Walter Hankins, Simms, Texas , and Harold Hankins, Kansas City; eight grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Randy Hale, the Rev. Mike Hale and the Rev. Dan Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Barnett.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials are suggested to Option Care/Missouri River Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association of Mid-Missouri.
TODD
Rowland Vermont "Chuck" Todd, 65, Gravois Mills, died March 14, 2003, at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach.
He was born April 2, 1937, in Louisiana, a daughter of R.V. III, and Marcia Todd. He was married March 29, 1986, in Laurie, to Karen Diane Brown, who survives at the home.
He was a retired welder and carpenter and a member of Family Worship Center, Versailles.
Other survivors include: four sons, Rowland Todd and Charles Todd, both of Camdenton, James Todd, Cross Timbers, and Donald Brown, Mexico; seven daughters, Karen Dixon, Joliet, Ill., Diana Farr, Baltimore, Md., Wanda Farr, Versailles, Nancy Farr, Laurie, Donna Brown, Gravois Mills, Donette Brown, Tipton, and Sharon Whistler, Mount Sterling, Ill.; 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
His stepfather, Frank Chambers, and two grandchildren, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Danny Owsley will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Monday.
BRYANT
Pearl V. Bryant, 97, Dixon, died March 14, 2003, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 25, 1905, in Cherryville, a daughter of Cletus and Merttie Mauck Murry. She was married Jan. 17, 1926, in Cherryville, to Lilbert J. Bryant, who died Jan. 14, 1972.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: five sons, Tom Bryant, Marion Bryant, and Kenneth Bryant, all of Dixon, James Bryant, St. Louis, and Cecil Bryant, St. Charles; two daughters, Ethel Dake, Dixon, and Leda Rodabaugh, Fairmount, Ind.; two brothers, Otis Murry and Lawrence Murry, both of Buckhorn, five sisters, Lettie Oxendine, Waynesville, Nettie Halbert and Mable Bell, both of Cherryville, Dollie Murry, Wichita, Kan., and Rosie Fern Parker, Dixon; 29 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and 35 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Barney Bryant, one daughter, Hazel Stiles and one grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon. David Hokanson and Steven Bryant will officiate. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Dixon.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the funeral.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
FORCK
Thomas O. Forck, 49, Jefferson City, died March 13, 2003, at his home.
He was born Dec. 4, 1953, in Jefferson City, a son of Otto and Mildred McDowell Forck. He was married March 20, 1982, in Jefferson City, to Debbie Braun, who survives at the home.
He was a plumber with Frank Schrimpf Plumbing and a carpenter with Braun Plastering Company.
He was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral and the Carpenter's Local 945.
Other survivors include: one son, Michael Forck, Jefferson City; two daughters, Angela Forck, Kansas City and Samantha Forck, Jefferson City; four brothers, Jerome Forck, Donald Forck, Ronald Forck and Timothy Forck, all of Jefferson City; five step-sisters, Sr. Geraldine Eveler, San Antonio, Texas , Sr. Josetta Eveler, Jefferson City, Mickey Stokes, Lawton, Okla., Josetta Forck, Jefferson City, and Billye Olson, Sabinal, Texas ; and one step brother, Tom Eveler, Deer Park, Texas .
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Cathedral. Fr. Joseph S. Corel will officiate. Entombment will be in the Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors Jefferson City Chapel, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Crossroads Recovery Center or the Helias High School Capital Campaign.
HOWSER
Margaret E. "Betty" Howser, 69, Versailles, died March 14, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born June 24, 1933, in Rock Port, a daughter of John and Elsie F. Hardy Harbin Sr.
She graduated from high school in Craig.
She was a member of the Family Worship Center, Versailles.
Survivors include: one son, Tommy Hopkins, Jefferson City; one daughter, Vincenta G. Snyder, Versailles; one brother, James "Jim" Harbin, Versailles; four sisters, Martha Bartley, Hermitage, and Lois J. Yandell, Dorothy Harbin and Georgia Robinson, all of Versailles; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Danny Owsley will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to the Family Worship Center Youth Ministry.
KAISER
James "Jim" Lee Kaiser, 72, died March 12, 2003, at Lake Regional Health Systems, Osage Beach.
He was born July 15, 1930, in West Unity, Ohio, a son of Linford S. and Emma J. Burchnell Kaiser. He was married Nov. 24, 1951, to Rosemary Roether, who survives at the home.
He was a graduate of West Unity High School. He was a Navy veteran. He worked for Cargill Elevators and built furniture for Sauder Co. He attended the Presbyterian Church of Climax Springs.
Other survivors include: four sons, Michael J. Kaiser, Grand Rapids, Mich., Kenneth A. Kaiser, Uxbridge, Mass., John R. Kaiser, Rockford, Mich., and Tom R. Kaiser, Fort Wayne, Ind.; one brother, Richard B. Kaiser, Bonners Ferry, Idaho; one sister, Joan Sloan, Katie, Texas ; seven grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Services with military honors will be at 3 p.m. today at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Pastor Jerry Jones will officiate. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay, Ohio, at noon Thursday.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the funeral.
