LYNCH
Harold E. Lynch, 65, Jefferson City, died March 16, 2003, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
He was born Aug. 2, 1937, in Maryville, a son of Raymond L. and Emma A. Smith Lynch. He was married June 29, 1958, in Shenandoah, Iowa, to Donna L. Anderson, who survives at the home.
He graduated from Maryville High School and received a bachelor of science degree from Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, in 1959. He received a master's degree in education in 1964 and he received his doctor's degree in education in city school administration, both from University of Missouri-Columbia. A resident of the Jefferson City area since 1966, he worked as director of area school services with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. He was assistant director and supervisor of adult education with the Jefferson City Public Schools and from 1989-2001 was director of Nichols Career Center for the Jefferson City Public Schools. He was a member of First Christian Church, Missouri Vocational Association and Missouri Council of Vocational Administrators.
He was a member of National Council of Local Administrators, Missouri Association of Adult, Continuing and Community Education, the American Vocational Association, the National Tech Prep Network and Phi Delta Kappa.
He supervised the construction and evaluation of area vocational school facilities in the 52 school districts throughout Missouri. He directed the implementation of adult basic education, the at-risk youth programs and the radiological technology program for the Jefferson City Public Schools.
He co-shared the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce award for outstanding business and education partnerships.
He developed a customized training program for area business.
He served on the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce education and industrial development committees and was instrumental in developing and funding the Health Occupations Center at Nichols Career Center in 2000.
Other survivors include: two sons, Barry E. Lynch, Brecksville, Ohio, and Gregg A. Lynch, Topeka, Kan.; one brother, William Lynch, Kansas City; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Lawrence Veatch will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the Health Occupations Center at Nichols Career Center.
RODRIGUEZ
Michelle "Shelly" Mae Rodriguez, 52, Laurie, died March 3, 2003, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.
She was born Jan. 13, 1951, in Oakland, Calif., a daughter of Isaac S. and Amy Barker Ussery.
She was a sorter for an air transport company.
Survivors include: one son, Robert Ussery, Oakland, Calif.; one brother, Donald Ussery, Gravois Mills; and one grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Gravois Mills United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be in Bluelick Cemetery, Marshall Junction.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.
FLETCHER-MARRIOTT
Bryant A. Fletcher-Marriott, 14, Centertown, died March 16, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Sept. 18, 1988, in Columbia, a son of Junior Marriott and Jana Fletcher. His father survives in Versailles and his mother, Jana Murray, survives in Centertown.
He was a student in the eighth grade at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. He attended Smithton Middle School before moving to Jefferson City a month ago. He was a member of Harvest Time Pentecostal Church, Ashland.
Other survivors include: three brothers, Austin Wade Marriott, Cody Wayne Marriott and Terry Lee Mariott, all of Versailles; one sister, Heather Renee Marriott, Sedalia; paternal grandfather, Bunney Marriott, Stover; and maternal grandparents, James and Bonnie Sullivan, Sedalia.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover. Burial will be in Stover Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday.

HAGER
Mildred Lee Hager, 88, Jefferson City, died March 17, 2003, at St. Joseph Home for the Aged.
She was born May 29, 1914, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Edgar and Bertha Pruitt Sandfort. She was married in 1938, to Marvin R. Hager, who died in 1972.
She was a graduate of Jefferson City High School, Jefferson City Junior College and the University of Missouri-Columbia. She was a teacher in the Jefferson City Public Schools for 36 years. She was a member of First Christian Church and Esther Circle. She was a member of Jefferson City Retired Teacher's Association; Order of Eastern Star, Jefferson Chapter; Jefferson City Lioness Club; Nature Conservancy; and animal protection groups. She volunteered for American Red Cross, Capital Region Medical Center and Meals on Wheels.
Survivors include: one daughter, Carol Jordan, Jefferson City; one brother, Edward Sandfort, Kansas City; two grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, Jefferson City. The Rev. Lawrence Veatch will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church Building.
MONSEES
Bettina A. Monsees, 89, Stover, died March 16, 2003, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
She was born Dec. 4, 1913, near Glensted, a daughter of Herman and Frances Parks Monsess. She was married Dec. 2, 1945, to Harry Monsees, who died July 14, 1969.
She attended the Hinken rural school and graduated from Stover High School in 1934. She was a teacher in the rural schools in Morgan County for several years. She taught in the Hinken school from 1944-1945. She worked at Primo Pants Factory, Versailles and was a baby-sitter. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pyrmont. She was community leader of the Friendly 4-H Club of the Hinken and Pyrmont communities for 29 years.
Survivors include: four daughters, Francellia Ehlers, Stover, Mary Monsees, Portland, Ore., Lenora Brown, Kuna, Idaho, and Ruth Hemphill, Nashville, Tenn.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pyrmont. The Rev. Paul Kelly will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover, with a prayer service at 6:45 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church, Pyrmont.
NIELSEN
Eugene Allan Nielsen, 66, Holts Summit, died March 17, 2003, in Holts Summit.
He was born Aug. 13, 1936, in St. Louis County, a son of Wilhem A. and Ella R. Petersen Nielsen.
He attended school in St. Louis. He worked for GPI Ink Company, Overland. He worked at Algoa Correctional Center, Jefferson City, from 1969-1974 and at Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center from 1978 until his retirement in 1998.
Survivors include: one son, James Nielsen, Alice Springs, Australia; two daughters, Peggy Toebben, Taos, and Sandy Schif, St. Louis; one sister, Betty Matsko, Overland; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
One son, Bruce Nielsen, died Aug. 27, 1998.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, Holts Summit. The Rev. Gerald Scheperle will officiate. Burial will be in Bull Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
PATTERSON
H. Eileen Patterson , 82, Chelmsford, Mass., formerly of Sunrise Beach, died March 16, 2003, at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley, Littleton, Mass.
She was born Jan. 3, 1921, in Springfield, Ill., a daughter of Daryl W. and Goldie Grace Riley Flynn. She was married May 3, 1942, to William H. Patterson, who died April 12, 1998.
She graduated from high school in Hammond, Ind. She owned and operated Don-Dee Resort near Sunrise Beach. She was a member of American Legion Zack Wheat Post 624 Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include: two daughters, Deidre Johnson, Littleton, Mass., and Donna Marcucci, Chelmsford, Mass.; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery, Laurie. The Rev. James Lawley will officiate.
