RUDROFF

Rita Gertrude Rudroff, 72, Taos, died March 23, 2003, at Maries Manor, Vienna.

She was born Dec. 23, 1930, in Rich Fountain, a daughter of Adolph J. and Ida Frances Luebberrt Rudroff.

She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Survivors include: five nephews, Joseph J. Forck, Gerard F. Forck, Anthony "Tony" Forck and Frank B. Forck, all of Taos, and Rick Rudroff, Raymore; and two nieces, Patty Verslues, Taos, and Renee Rudroff, Raymore.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. J. David Maher will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with a rosary at 1 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 7319 Route M,  Jefferson City, MO 65101.

Arrangements are under the direction of Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.

RUSTEMEYER

Francis Joseph "Rusty" Rustemeyer, 78,  Jefferson City, died March 22, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.

Arrangements are with Houser-Millard Funeral Directors,  Jefferson City.

TORRETI

Carol Watkins Torreti, 86, Lake Ozark, died March 22, 2003, at Lake Ozark Retirement Center.

She was born May 18, 1916, in Iberia, a daughter of Gilbert and Flora Matilda Gott Watkins. She was married Sept. 20, 1946, in Philadelphia, to Mario Torreti, who died in June 1997.

She graduated from Iberia Junior College in 1935 and Carthage College, Carthage, Ill., in 1937. She taught Latin and English in Illinois and New Jersey. She retired to North Carolina. She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church, New Bern, N.C. She was a lifetime member of Lake Ozark Chapter of PEO.

Survivors include: two sons, Joseph D. Torreti, Parsippany, N.J., and Ronald W. Torreti, Boston.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Stan Way will officiate. Burial will be in Iberia Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday.

GOEPFERICH

Donald Bernard Goepferich, 68, Eldon, died March 22, 2003, in Lake Ozark.

He was born July 6, 1934, in Bluehill, Neb., a son of Victor and Katherine Heil Goepferich.

He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eldon. He worked with Cole & Meyers, Bethany, as a manger for more than 20 years. He moved to Eldon in 1999. He was a greeter at Wal Mart in  Jefferson City and Osage Beach.

Survivors include: three daughters, Rita Fountain, Eldon, Barb Killen, Marinette, Wis., and Carol Nunan, Edina; two brothers, Harold Goepferich, Cameron, and Kenneth Goepferich, Kansas City; eight sisters, Rose Mary Terhune, Marshall, Agnes Warren, Gower, Leona Morrow, Holiday, Fla., Theresa Bradfield, Ankeny, Iowa, Mary McNeel and Ardella Moody, both of Lee's Summit, Betty Grogan, Sonora, Calif., and Linda Owens, McPherson, Kan.; and eight grandchildren.

One grandson preceded him in death.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eldon. The Rev. James J. O'Sullivan will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.

FULLER

Ronald L. Fuller, 60, Sunrise Beach, died March 22, 2003, at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach.

He was born Oct. 24, 1942, in Moline, Ill., a son of LaVern and Beverly Calhoun Fuller. He was married June 25, 2002, to Carla C. "Cathy" Brewer Foulk, who survives.

He was a maintenance plumber at Lake Regional Health System and a member of Osage Hills Baptist Church, Osage Beach. He was a Navy veteran.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Jessica Boyert, Camdenton; two stepsons, Lance Foulk, Camdenton, and Nathan Foulk, Sunrise Beach; one stepdaughter, Rebecca Foulk, of the home; three brothers, Roger Fuller and Mark Fuller, Clinton, Iowa, and Marlon Fuller, Phoenix, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Osage Hills Baptist Church. The Rev. Herb Baker will officiate. Private burial will be in Shawnee Bend Cemetery, near Sunrise Beach.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the Cancer Treatment Center at Lake Regional Health System.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie.

BAUER

Julianna Margaret Bauer, 65,  Jefferson City, died March 23, 2003, at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 19, 1938, in Folk, a daughter of Anton S. and Martha Elizabeth Heckman Baumhoer. She was married Aug. 3, 1957, in Folk, to Raymond Francis Bauer, who died Jan. 19, 2002.

She worked for International Shoe Company and was a line operator for 28 years with Unilever, Inc., until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where she was active with the prayer line and was a communion minister to nursing home and shut-in parishioners.

Survivors include: four daughters, Kathleen M. Simpson, Brenda C. Zeugin, Lisa M. Yungbluth, and Mary M. Griggs, all of  Jefferson City; two brothers, Frank Baumhoer, Westphalia, and Roger Baumhoer, Holts Summit; two sisters, Patsy Baumhoer, Folk, and Eleanor Luadzers, St. Martins; and 11 grandchildren.

Two infant sons, Raymond Francis Bauer and Joseph Girard Bauer, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Patrick G. Dolan will officiate. Entombment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Building Fund, 1206 W. McCarty St.,  Jefferson City, Mo. 65101, or to Masses.

SUTLIFF

Van G. Sutliff Jr., 85, Lake Ozark, died March 21, 2003, in Lake Ozark.

He was born Aug. 2, 1917, in Huntsville, a son of Van G. and Reba Taylor Sutliff. He was married in 1939, to Irma O. Eubank, who died in 1987. He was married in 1988, to Zona E. Page, who survives at the home.

He was a 1935 graduate of Huntsville High School and a 1939 graduate of the University of Missouri.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Naval Air Reserve.

He taught agriculture and was a manager at Union Electric in the district office and a Bagnell Dam. He was a member of the Lake Regional Health Systems board.

He was a member of Lake Ozark Christian Community Church, the Rotary Club and was a 32 Degree Mason.

Other survivors include: one step-daughter, one step grandchild and one step great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Phillips Funeral Home. The Rev. James Pohl will officiate. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Huntsville Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Lake Ozark Christian Church or the American Cancer Society.

SCHAUWECKER

Bruno H. Schauwecker, 94,  Jefferson City, died March 23, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born Sept. 21, 1908, in Westphalia, a son of William and Katherine Hoer Schauwecker. He was married to Agnes Luetkemeyer, who died in 1973. He was married to Esther Fechtel, who died in 1999.

He worked for the J. W. Peterson Coal and Oil Company, Chicago, until his retirement.

Survivors include: one son, William J. Schauwecker, Lake Zurich, Ill.; one daughter, Mary Kay Payne,  Jefferson City; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Largo, Fla. Burial will be in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, Largo.

Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Directors,  Jefferson City.
