ISOM
Faye Howard Isom, 47, Jefferson City, died April 4, 2003, at her home.
She was born Dec. 2, 1955, in Portsmouth, Va., a daughter of Gary and Betty Gilliam Howard. Her father survives in Linn.
Other survivors include: her step-mother, Mitzi Howard, Linn; one son, Jason Isom, Jefferson City; one brother, Brad Howard, Fort Collins, Colo.; one sister, Kaye Barns, Loose Creek; and her maternal grandmother, Edith Gilliam, Linn.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Morton Funeral Home Chapel, Linn. The Rev. David Krueger will officiate. Burial will be in Cave Spring Cemetery, Cave Spring.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
SCHMITZ
Julia E. Schmitz, 89, died April 5, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Sept. 22, 1913, in Loose Creek, a daughter of Hugo and Regina Porth Heinen.
She was married Aug. 14, 1943, in Loose Creek, to Herbert J. Schmitz, who died May 26, 1996.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Louis Church, Bonnots Mill.
Survivors include: two sons, Robert Schmitz, Bonnots Mill, and James Schmitz, Linn; one daughter, Judy Tripp, Bonnots Mill; three sisters, Eleanore Lock, Linn; Regina Dean, Longwood, Fla., and Irene Rivera, Portland; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Patrick Schmitz.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Louis Church. The Rev. Greg Meystrik will officiate. Burial will be St. Louis Church Cemetery, Bonnots Mill.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn.
Memorials are suggested to St. Louis Church.
SCHULTE
Catherine Schulte, 85, Russellville, died April 4, 2003, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 5, 1917, in Russellville, a daughter of Frank J. and Katie Hilkemeyer Bruning.
She was married May 10, 1941, in Jefferson City to Edwin J. Schulte, who died Jan. 7, 1968.
She was a graduate of Russellville High School.
She worked for the state Department of Revenue, Marine Registration and a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Russellville and the Ladies Quilting Circle.
Survivors include: three sons, Don E. Schulte and Ralph J. Schulte, both of Jefferson City, and Larry J. Schulte, Russellville; one daughter, Margaret Hofmann, Centertown; two sisters, Dorothy Reinke, Jefferson City, and Marie Campbell, Lohman; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church. The Rev. Ed Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in the churc cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Weber and Sons Funeral Home, Russellville, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Michael's Church Building Fund.
SMITH
Bryce Gene "B.G." Smith, 79, Tuscumbia, died April 4, 2003, in Tuscumbia.
Smith was born June 1, 1923, in Tuscumbia, a son of Roy E. and Ida Lee Wright Smith.
He was a self-employed laborer.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include: one sister, Vivian Carlson, Fallon, Nev.; and one brother, Paul Smith, Tuscumbia.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Gene Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Gott Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Gott Cemetery Fund.
CHENOWETH
The Rev. Robert J. Chenoweth, 71, St. Louis, died April 7, 2003, in St. Louis.
He was born Aug. 4, 1931, in St. Louis, a son of B. J. and Theresa Fry Chenoweth.
He was ordained March 30, 1963, at St. Peters Cathedral in Jefferson City. He served at several parishes in the Central Missouri area from 1963-1981 including; St. Andrews, Tipton, Our Lady of the Lake, Lake Ozark and St. Peters, Fulton. He served as chaplain at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, from 1983-1996.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a Mass at St. Louis University Hospital Chapel of Christ the Crucified King. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Eldon.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mayer Funeral Home, St. Louis.
MAHANEY
Services were today for Robert James "Robbie" Mahaney, 24, Belle, who died April 6, 2003, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born Sept. 18, 1978, in Rolla, a son of Robert W. and Brenda Hults Mahaney. His mother survives in Belle.
He graduated from Belle High School in 1996. He worked at Wal-Mart Distribution Center in St. James. He was a candidate for the Belle City Council.
Other survivors include one sister, Toni Buehrlen, Belle.
Services were at High Gate Baptist Church. Boyd Gray officiated. Burial was in Skaggs Cemetery, south of Belle.
Arrangements were under the direction of Sassmann's Funeral Home, Belle.
BAILEY
Kathleen Mary "Kitty" Bailey, 76, Jefferson City, died April 8, 2003, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 23, 1926, in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, a daughter of Floyd J. and Wava Elvira Jenison Thayer. She was married Jan. 27, 1946, in Ft. Dodge, to Darrell Wayne Bailey, who survives at the home.
She received her education in Ft. Dodge and was a homemaker.
Other survivors include: two sons, Bruce Bailey, Florissant, and Dale Bailey, San Diego; one daughter, Kathy Pingel, Jefferson City; one sister, Lois Eilers, Spencer, Iowa; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. The Rev. Aaron McDaniel will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.

HENSCHEN
Mary F. Henschen, 69, Fenton, died April 7, 2003, in St. Joseph Hospital, Kirkwood.
She was born April 27, 1933, in Wellsville, a daughter of Elmer and Josephine Ferry. She was married to Otto W. Henschen, who survives.
She was a homemaker.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kutis Funeral Home Afton Chapel, St. Louis. Pastor Dale Pritchard will officiate. Burial will be in Gasconade City Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday.
JACKSON
Gwendolyn Sue Jackson, 44, Edwards, died April 7, 2003, at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach.
She was born Nov. 10, 1958, in Kansas, a daughter of George and Louise Curtis Eden. She was married Dec. 31, 1981, in Kansas City, Kan., to George Jackson, who survives at the home.
She was a certified nurse's aide at Windsor Estate Nursing Home in Camdenton.
Other survivors include: one son, Joe Jackson, of the home; three daughters, Norma Early, Kansas City, Kan., and Sharon Cook and Crystal Flynn, both of Edwards; two brothers, George Eden and Paul Eden, both of Kansas City; six sisters, Norma Leeper, Karen Howard, Sharon Keagy, Cheryl Gibbs, Anita Eden and Shelma Eden, all of Kansas City, Kan.; and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday.
