JENKINS
Eunice I. Jenkins, 68, California, died April 7, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Aug. 3, 1934, in Morgan County, a daughter of Jess and Rosa Wood Ritchie. She was married May 19, 1951, in Warrensburg, to George W. Jenkins, who died Jan. 5, 1994.
She attended Versailles School. She was a homemaker and was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church, the Senior Adult Sunday School Class and participated in Ladies Day Out Lunch.
Survivors include: two sons, Michael Jenkins and Paul Jenkins, both of California; one daughter, Linda Rains, Jamestown; two brothers, Clyde Ritchie, Lexington, and Vernon Ritchie, Rogersville; four sisters, Novelene Morgan, Odessa, Martha Farmer, Gardner, Kan., Goldie Hamill, Sedalia, and Osa Mae Hall, Versailles; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Trudy Howser Robinett, died Aug. 30, 1996.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Lebanon Baptist Church, McGirk. The Rev. Frank Whitney will officiate. Burial will be in California City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7:30 p.m. today at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.

SAUER
Carl J. Sauer, 97, Russellville, died April 8, 2003, at Oak View Living Center.
He was born Oct. 7, 1905, in Russellville, a son of August and Anna Hitz Sauer. He was married April 23, 1936, in Honey Creek, to Rosaline Propst, who died March 19, 1992.
He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Stringtown.
Survivors include: two sons, Larry Sauer, Russellville, and David Sauer, California; one sister, Frieda Andres, California; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Stringtown. The Rev. Warren Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Weber and Sons Funeral Home, Russellville.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery Fund.
WEEKE
Warren Edwin Weeke, 79, Sunrise Beach, died April 8, 2003, at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach.
He was born July 19, 1923, in St. Louis, a son of Gustave A. and Audrey Von Rantenkranv Weeke. He was married July 2, 1960, in St. Louis, to Audrey Luther, who survives at the home.
He was a member of Elks Lodge and American Legion Zack Wheat Post 624, Sunrise Beach. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Madonna Lewis, St. Louis, Margaret Wehrung, Bennington, Vt., Linda Lade, O'Fallon, and Linda Moreland, Sunrise Beach; two sisters, Betty Wilson and Alice McNeil, both of St. Louis; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Rock House Church, Linn Creek. Mike Duncan will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
WETZEL
Emma Wetzel, 93, Versailles, died April 8, 2003, in Jefferson City.
She was born June 28, 1909, in Etterville, a daughter of Gobblet and Jane Graham Dorl. She was married June 4, 1936, in Jefferson City, to Jasper Max Wetzel, who died Oct. 20, 1993.
She was a farmer in Russellville for several years, moving to Eldon in 1947. She worked with Intercove Shoe Factory in Jefferson City. She was a member of Ninth Street Christian Church, Eldon.
Survivors include: one son, Johnny Wetzel, Eldon; one sister, Louise Shikles, Eldon; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Minister Tom Farrington will officiate. Burial will be in Enloe Cemetery, Russellville.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday.
Memorials are suggested to Ninth Street Christian Church.
WILLIAMS
Genevieve M. Williams, 87, Sedalia, died April 7, 2003, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center, Sedalia.
She was born Feb. 6, 1916, in Kansas City, a daughter of Claude and Elizabeth Kniepfel Langford. She was married Dec. 31, 1938, in Kansas City, to George T. Williams, who survives at the home.
She was a sample maker for a men's clothing store in Kansas City and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Sedalia.
Other survivors include one sister, Elizabeth Clithero, Jefferson City, one granddaughter and five great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Sharon Wilken, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California. The Rev. Dennis Martin will officiate. Burial will be in High Point Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Thursday.

BERHORST
Herbert August Berhorst, 80, Fulton, died April 9, 2003, at his home.
He was born Sept. 13, 1922, in Mary's Home, a son of John and Mary Hake Berhorst. He was married July 6, 1948, in St. Elizabeth, to Annabelle Holtmeyer. He was married Sept. 4, 1970, in Fulton, to Daisy Lee Douglas, who died May 3, 1996.
He was a carpenter. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of American Legion Roscoe Enloe Post 5, Jefferson City.
Survivors include: three sons, Robert Berhorst and David Berhorst, both of Jefferson City, and James Berhorst, New Bloomfield; five daughters, Mary Ann Walther and Dorothy Goodin, both of Jefferson City, Betty Livingston, Springfield, Kathy Rook, New Bloomfield, and Gloria Berhorst, Columbia; two sisters, Lucille Dickneitte and Lorraine Vogel, both of St. Elizabeth; 15 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
One grandson preceded her in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. Bruce Williamson will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday.
Memorials are suggested to the Fulton Senior Center.
CREACH
Toney Creach, 78, Macks Creek, died April 9, 2003, in Macks Creek.
He was born Jan. 17, 1925, in Camden County, a son of Melvin and Burnis Palmer Creach.
He worked in construction installing water lines and was a member of Branch Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include one brother, Alvin Creach, Macks Creek.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Branch Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Creach Cemetery, Macks Creek.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Hedges Funeral Home, Macks Creek.
GOANS
Pauline S. Goans, 80, Holts Summit, died April 9, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born July 27, 1922, in Maries County, a daughter of George and Liley Johnson Helton. She was married June 10, 1969, in Jefferson City, to Hershell Goans, who survives at the home.
She was a baby sitter for many years and was a member of the Wayfarer Pentecostal Church of God.
Other survivors include: one son, David Nichols, Holts Summit; two brothers, Earl Helton, Valley Park, and Elzie Helton, Meta; three sisters, Minnie Vaught and Emma Woods, both of Jefferson City, and Lola Rowden, Valley Park; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Slater-Millard Family Funeral Chapel, Holts Summit. The Rev. Mike Burton and the Rev. Chuck Norris will officiate. Burial will be in Stokes Cemetery, near Meta.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
