DAVENPORT
John Leiser Davenport, 88, Newport News, Va., formerly of Jefferson City, died July 31, 1999, at James River Convalescent Center, Newport News.
He was born
in Mercer, Mo., a son of Obie and Constance Leiser Davenport. He was married
May 26, 1936, to Geraldine Vandament, who preceded him in death.
He received a degree in business and public administration from the University of Missouri. During World War II, he served as a Seabee in the Pacific campaign. In 1949, he was appointed the first chief of office services for the Missouri State Employment Commission's central office.
He was a member of Jefferson City's First United Methodist Church and Kirksville's Adair Masonic Lodge. He had been a peninsula resident since 1983.
Survivors include: one daughter, Geraldine Davenport, Newport News; and one sister, Phyllis Hartwig, California.
He was preceded in death by one son, Air Force Capt. Robert D. Davenport.
Private services and burial will be later in Jefferson City.
Memorials are suggested to the Camp Skimino Building Fund, Girl Scout Council of Colonial Coast, 912 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, Va. 23326.

JUNGMEYER
Alvina Elizabeth Jungmeyer, 89, Russellville, died July 30, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born
Dec. 28, 1909, in Russellville, a daughter of Nicholaus and Elizabeth Barbara Droeger Hoffman. She was married
April 15, 1934, in Russellville, to Theodore F. Jungmeyer, who died June 2, 1996.
She attended school in Russellville and went to work at the former Still Hospital in 1953, retiring in 1978. She was a quilter and a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Russellville.
Survivors include: one son, Leland Jungmeyer, Lohman; one daughter, Waleah Hunter, Holts Summit; six grandchildren and four great-granddaughters.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Nancy Oliver will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Russellville, with a family service at 8 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Martin Luther Home.
KENDRICK
Imogene Moulder Kendrick, 63, Climax Springs, died July 29, 1999, at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.
She was born
Feb. 6, 1936, in Hickory County near Preston, a daughter of Roscoe and Elsie M. Kays Moulder.
She grew up in Climax Springs and moved to Kansas City, where she worked for the Missouri National Insurance Co. She returned to the family farm to care for her parents until they died.
Survivors include: one brother, Wayne Moulder, Montreal, Mo.; and one sister, Thelma Hughes, Raytown.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Roach Cemetery, Roach. The Rev. John Cooper will officiate.
Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Monday at Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton.
KILMER
Maynard B. Kilmer, 60, Barnett, died July 30, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born
Sept. 29, 1938, near East Earl, Pa., a son of Christian Z. and Elizabeth Brubacher Kilmer. He was married
Feb. 2, 1961, to Cara H. Zimmerman, who survives at the home.
A farmer, he also worked at Fasco Industries in Eldon.
Other survivors include: four sons, Arthur Kilmer, of the home, Orvie Kilmer, Clarksburg, Marlin Kilmer, Barnett, and Daniel Kilmer, Versailles; four daughters, Arlene Kilmer, Verna Martin and Kathryn Weaver, all of Versailles, and Mildred Zimmerman, New Holland, Pa.; two brothers, John Kilmer and Aaron Kilmer, both of Wisconsin; nine sisters, Katherine Ramer, High Point, Florence Nolt and Ada Zimmerman, both of state of Pennsylvania, Mary Ann Hoover and Barbara Zimmerman, both of Barnett, Bertha Shirk, state of Kentucky, Annetta Martin, Latham, and Betty Shirk and Esther Shirk, both of state of Wisconsin; and 35 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Allen Kilmer, and two infant granddaughters.
Services will be at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Hill Mennonite Church near Latham. Minister Abner Oberholtzer and Minister Amos Zimmerman will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the home of the family near Barnett.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
McCULLEY
Jean F. McCulley, 73, Shawnee, Kan., died July 29, 1999, at Bethany Medical Center.
He was born
in Kansas City, Kan., a son of A. Frank and Willma McCulley. He was married
to Sally McCulley, who survives at the home.
He owned and operated McCulley Oil Co. for 40 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Terry Wynn, Jefferson City, Janet Taylor, Overland Park, Kan., Marianne Clair, Shawnee, and Louann Pettey, Mission, Kan.; one stepson, Richard Keithley, Kansas City, Kan.; one stepdaughter, Janet Shogren, Chuluota, Fla.; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Phyllis, and his first wife, Margie.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Kan.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. today at Amos Family Funeral Home, Shawnee.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
WILLIAMS
Gerald V. "Sonny" Williams Jr., 46, California, died July 30, 1999, as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Centertown.
He was born
July 28, 1953, in Jefferson City, a son of Gerald D. Sr. and Pauline A. Mummert Williams. His father survives in Tipton. He was married
Sept. 5, 1998, in Jamestown, to Nyla N. Porter Williams, who died July 30, 1999.
A graduate of Tipton High School, he was a plant foreman with Bassett Bedding. He was a member of Jamestown Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: one son, Bruce Schreck, Tipton; three daughters, Amanda Moore, California, Melissa Williams, Tipton, and Tina Capestro, Warrenton; four brothers, Terry Lee Mummert, Fortuna, Tommy Williams, Jefferson City, Wesley Williams, Clarksburg, and Jimmy Williams, Fulton; four sisters, Sue Robinson, Eugene, Becky Coffman, Fulton, La Cota Strobel, Centertown, and Penny Capps, California; and two grandsons.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Tipton. The Rev. Bill Mortenson and the Rev. Myron Croch will officiate. Burial will be in Flag Springs Cemetery, California.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Meisenheimer-Griswold Funeral Home, Tipton. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.
WILLIAMS
Nyla N. Williams, 42, California, died July 30, 1999, as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Centertown.
She was born
Sept. 3, 1956, in Jamestown, a daughter of Raymond and Wanda Bolin Porter. She was married
Sept. 5, 1998, in Jamestown, to Gerald V. "Sonny" Williams, who died July 30, 1999.
A lifelong resident of Moniteau County, she graduated from Jamestown High School and worked as a telephone operator for the Missouri Department of Motor Vehicles. She was a member of Jamestown Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one son, Bruce Schreck, Tipton; three daughters, Amanda Moore, California, Melissa Williams, Tipton, and Tina Capestro, Warrenton; six brothers, Nelson Porter, Jefferson City, Roger Porter and Nolan Porter, both of California, and Lanny Porter, Russell Porter and Jarrett Porter, all of Jamestown; one sister, Carol Bowden, Clarksburg; and two grandsons.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Tipton. The Rev. Bill Mortenson and the Rev. Myron Croch will officiate. Burial will be in Flag Springs Cemetery, California.

WILLIAMS
Pauline A. Williams, 69, Centertown, died July 30, 1999, as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Centertown.
She was born
Aug. 9, 1929, in Fortuna, a daughter of Amos J. and Eunice Teeple Mummert.
A lifelong resident of Fortuna, she was a member of Fortuna Baptist Church and the Fortuna Senior Citizens.
Survivors include: four sons, Terry Lee Mummert, Fortuna, Tommy Williams, Jefferson City, Wesley Williams, Clarksburg, and Jimmy Williams, Fulton; four daughters, Sue Robinson, Eugene, Becky Coffman, Fulton, La Cota Strobel, Centertown, and Penny Capps, California; one brother, James Mummert, Edgerton; three sisters, Vera Petrovic, Versailles, Elsie Mackey, Huntington Beach, N.Y., and Georgia Mummert, Fortuna; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

WALLER
Bonnie Ellen Waller, 64, New Bloomfield, died Aug. 2, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born
Oct. 30, 1934, in Belle, a daughter of George and Ruby Pearon Loughridge. She was married
March 18, 1978, in Jefferson City, to Ralph F. Waller, who survives at the home.
She had been employed by Westinghouse.
Other survivors include: one son, Mike Woods, New Bloomfield; one daughter, Patricia Woods, Holts Summit; one stepdaughter, Phyllis Shelby, Cedar Hill; two brothers, Donnell Loughridge and Robert Loughridge, both of Bland; four sisters, Elenora Murray, Montgomery, Texas, Naomi Shanks, Vienna, Diane Penserum, Butler, and Kathy Rhoads, Belle; three grandchildren and six step grandchildren.
Entombment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Callaway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Ted Hughes will officiate.
