LANE
Mrs. Valda Lane, age 68 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at the Capital Region Medical Center.
Mrs. Lane was born May 8, 1934 in Callaway County, Mo., the daughter of Gilford H. and Nancy E. Smallwood Nichols, both deceased. She was married on June 12, 1954 to Donald C. Forbis who preceded her in death on February 20, 1961. On March 8, 1974, she married Edgar J. Mueller who preceded her in death on November 21, 1981, in Jefferson City, Mo. She married Dale L. Lane who survives at the home.
A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Mrs. Lane attended Cedar School in Cedar City, Mo. and Jefferson City High School. She was employed as a cashier with Scholastic, Inc. for twenty years until her retirement in 1990. She was a past member of the Union Hill Baptist Church, Holts Summit, Mo. and a current member of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson City.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Donalane Richards of Holts Summit, Mo., Valerie Campbell of Jefferson City, Mo., and Vallie Don Otto of St. Thomas, Mo.; one son, John Mueller of Jefferson City, Mo.; three stepdaughters, Nancy Lane of Columbus, Indiana, Pamela Fay Wheeler of Jefferson City, Mo., and Beth Pickard of Blue Springs, Mo.; her twin sister; Velma Barnard of Holts Summit, Mo.; 8 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 1 step great grandchild; one granddaughter; Francie Otto; one brother, Kenneth R. Nichols and one sister, Madeline Bloomer and one stepson; Thomas Lane all preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother in infancy.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2003 in the Freeman Chapel with the Rev. G. Dale Norfolk officiating. Interment will be at the Union Hill Cemetery, Holts Summit, Mo.
Friends may call at the Freeman Mortuary from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Lung Association or the Union Hill Church Cemetery Association, Holts Summit, Mo.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
LIVENGOOD
William D. Livengood, 79, Rocky Mount, died Wednesday, May 7, 2003.
He was born November 7, 1923 in St. Louis, the son of Robert and Millie (Taff) Livengood. He was married December 21, 1942, in St. Louis, to Palma M. (Kuykendoll), who survives at the home.
Other survivors include: daughters, Lee Anna Taylor of the home and Linda Sexton, Elgin, IL; special friend, Roger Muterspaugh; two grandsons, David Nichols and Keith Headd; three great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters; sisters, Anna Kinder, Moberly, Thelma Place, St. Charles, Marie Summers, Mt. Vernon, IL.; brother, Bob Livengood, Los Angeles, CA; large family of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by four brothers, and one sister.
He was a professional truck driver for thirty-three years and was in the jewelry business for fourteen years. He was currently employed with Lloyd Belt in Eldon, MO. He was a three year veteran of World War II, surviving the attack on Normandy, he also served two years in the Korean War. He donated his life to caring for others, and through his music.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon with Rev. Dan Duckworth and Rev. Roy Kinder officiating. Burial will be in the Eldon City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday. Masonic Services at 7:00 p.m.
Memorials suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
GOODRICK
Margie Melba Goodrick, 87, of Eldon, Mo., died Thursday, May 8, 2003 in Jefferson City.
She was born in Fayette County, Illinois, on October 22, 1915 to A.T. Newcum & Noie (Merriman) Newcum who preceded her in death. She was married November 29, 1934 to Clyde Gordon Goodrick who preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and lived for over fifty years in the Mt. Pleasant community, where she and her husband operated their farm. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Christian Church, where she served many offices. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Local Chapter of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Fireman and Engineers. Avid quilters and writer of poetry, she currently resided at Bristol Manor in Eldon, Missouri.
She is survived by one son: Gordon Goodrick of Eldon, Missouri; two daughters: Karen Burris of Eldon, Missouri and Susan Broski of Overland Park, Kansas; one brother: John Newcum of Citrus Height, California; six grandchildren & four great granddaughters.
Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., Sun., May 11, at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, MO. Services will be held Monday, May 12, at 10:00 a.m. at the Phillips Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Kruse officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Eldon, MO. Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church.
SANDERS
Anna Ruth Sanders, 64, Jefferson City, MO passed away Thursday, May 8, 2003 at St. Marys Health Center in Jefferson City, MO.
Survivors include her husband, Donald E. Sanders at the home; 3 sons, Charles Sanders and George Sanders both of Jefferson City, MO and Kenneth Sanders of California, MO; 2 daughters, Sheryl Klatt of Moberly, MO and Donna Sanders of Jefferson City, MO; 1 brother, Dean Clifford of Belton, MO; 1 sister, Monta Jane Uptergrove of Fortuna, MO and 8 grandchildren.
There will be no service.
Visitation will be Sun., May 11, 2003, 5-7 P.M. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, MO.
Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society.

McCANN
Doris Mary Longnecker McCann, 81, of California, MO., died May 8, 2003, Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
She was born March 30, 1922, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Edward Leon and Florence Theresa (Allar) Longnecker.
After graduating from Davenport High School she worked in an ordnance plant in Burlington, Iowa, during World War II. She then worked for the Chicago Burlington and Quincy Railroad before working at the Naval Supply Depot in San Diego, California. She later graduated from business college in Davenport and was employed by the J.C. Penney Co.
She married F.J. McCann on June 24, 1944, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Davenport. He survives of the home. After their marriage, they lived in Ames, Iowa and later made their home in California, where she assisted her husband in his veterinary practice for nearly forty years. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church and the Alter Sodality.
Other survivors include a son, Terry, of Katy, Texas ; three daughters, Nancy Keel, Lawrence, Kansas, Vicki Sifers, Leawood, Kansas, and Mary Lou McCann, Overland Park, Kansas; and ten grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am Tuesday at Annunciation Catholic Church with Fr. Greg Higley officiating. Burial will be in Annunciation Cemetery at a later date following cremation.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Weber and Sons Funeral Home, California. A rosary will be said at 7:15 p.m.

WYATT
Angela L. Tressel Wyatt, age 32, of Holts Summit, died Friday, May 9, 2003 at her home after a courageous fight against stomach cancer.
She was born May 21, 1970 in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of Richard and Elise (Copenhaver) Tressel. On Sept. 14, 2002, she married David Wyatt in Callaway County, MO. He survives of the home.
She is also survived by two daughters, Kayla Barcum and Sarah Hees; one son, Jesse Wyatt; one step-daughters, Amanda Wyatt; two brothers, Davis Burton and Jason Burton; one sister, Jennifer Tressel; her mother, Elise DalBianco of Pleasant Hill, California; her father Richard Tressel and his wife Amanda of Drayton Plains, Michigan; and grandparents, aunts and uncles in Michigan.
She served her country in the US Navy from 1992 to 1994. She attended the Church of God in Fulton.
Memorial service for her family and friends will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, at Harvest Time Ministries in Holts Summit with Bishop Bill Rogers and Pastor Charles Norris officiating.
Memorials are suggested to the Angela Wyatt Memorial Fund, c/o Sun Security Bank of Mid-America in Holts Summit.
Arrangements are under the care of Debo Funeral Home, Fulton.
FITZPATRICK
Robert "Bob" L. Fitzpatrick, 43, of Melbourne, FL, died May 12, 2003, in Melbourne.
He was born in St. Louis, MO and was employed as a chef at Fresh Pasta in Melbourne.
Survivors include his parents, Mary Fitzpatrick of Manchester, MO, and Robert Fitzpatrick of Estero, FL; one brother, Richard Duff; and one sister, Mary Lou Wich.
Memorial services will be held in Melbourne, FL.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Hospice.
GAMBLE
Ronald M. Gamble, 52, Missouri City, TX and formerly of California, MO passed away Friday, May 9, 2003 at Park Plaza Hospital in Houston, TX.
He was born August 23, 1950 in Columbia, MO the son of M Maurice and Norma Ruth Birdsong Gamble who both survive in Mission, TX.
He was a ground worker for several airlines. He was a 1968 graduate of California High School and graduated from Southwest Missouri State College in Springfield, MO.
He is also survived by 1 aunt, Katherine Allee of California, MO and 3 cousins, Betty Kueffer and Sandy Allee both of California, MO and Nancy Long of Phoenix, AZ.
Services will be held at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, Thursday, May 15, 2003 at 11:00 A. M. Officiating will be Rev. Roy Barnard. Burial will be in Gamble Cemetery south of California, MO.
Memorials are suggested to Gamble Cemetery Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, MO.
HARRIS
Ronald Lee Harris, 55, of Jefferson City, MO, died May 12, 2003 at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born September 25, 1947, at Jefferson City, MO, the son of Joseph L. and Georgia R. Tussey Harris; his parents survive of Jefferson City, MO.
He had attended the Jefferson City High School.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Jo Harris. Private graveside services will be held Thursday afternoon. Interment will be in Longview Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or to the Heart of Missouri Humane Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the Buescher Memorial Home.
McKINNEY
Mrs. Thora L. McKinney, age 79 years, of Jefferson City, MO, died Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at the Jefferson City Manor Nursing Center.
