Juanita J. Capps, 78, Camdenton, MO, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at Lake Regional Health Systems, Osage Beach, MO.

Survivors include: Jim Capps & wife, Nancy, of Camdenton, MO, Kenny Paul Capps, Sr. and wife Pam of Camdenton, MO; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton, MO.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dean Rooffener officiating. Burial will be in the Dale Blair Memorial Cemetery, Camdenton, MO.

FICKLIN

Gladys Marie Sippel Ficklin, age 96, of Marshall, MO, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall, MO.

She was born July 20, 1907 in Randolph County, MO to Charles Wilhelm Sippel and Minnie Bunnell Sippel, both deceased. She was married in 1929, to George C. Ficklin who preceded her in death in April of 1956. She had lived in Marshall the last 11 years moving from Bolivar, MO, previously living in  Jefferson City, MO. She was a graduate of Moberly High School and a member of the First United Methodist Church in  Jefferson City. She retired in 1969 from the State of MO-Division of Welfare after 33 years.

She is survived by her daughter, George Ann Meuschke and husband, George, of Marshall, MO; 5 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 10 step-great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; 1 step-great great grandson; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 3 brothers.

She was cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to Butterfield Youth Services or Fitzgibbon Hospital, c/o Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home, 226 S. Odell Ave., Marshall, MO 65340.

GUHR

Clayton Dean Guhr, age 59, of Versailles, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at Shelby Med Central Health Systems in Shelby, Ohio.

He was born November 26, 1943 in Goessel, Kansas, the son of Daniel and Velma Schmidt Guhr.

Survivors include his wife, Louise "Wiesje" Guhr of the home; three sons, Eric Guhr, Marcel Guhr and Alexander Guhr; one daughter, Sylvia Margo McMillin, two granddaughters, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 28, at Tabor Mennonite Church near Newton, Kansas. Burial will be in the Tabor Mennonite Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the World Craft & Thrift Store in Versailles.

HEIDBREDER

Mrs. Marie Heidbreder, age 82 years, of Holts Summit, MO, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at St. Marys Health Center.

Mrs. Heidbreder was born April 4, 1921 in Callaway County, MO. The daughter of Luther and Hilda Sundermeyer Vaughan, both deceased. She was married on August 31, 1940, at  Jefferson City, MO to LeRoy Heidbreder, who survives at the home.

A life-long resident of the Central Missouri area, Mrs. Heidbreder graduated from  Jefferson City High School and attended the Capital Commercial College. She was employed as the office manager for Heidbreder Auto Supply for twenty-three years, until her retirement in 1995. She was a member of the Central United Church of Christ.

Other survivors include one son, Lee Allan Heidbreder of Holts Summit, MO; one daughter, M. Dianne Marshall of  Jefferson City, MO; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. One son, Robert L. Heidbreder preceded her in death on May 27, 2003, and one brother, Price Vaughan preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 25, 2003, at the Freeman Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2003, in the Freeman Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Stephen Buchholz officiating. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Central United Church of Christ Building Fund. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

HENRY

Odell Lewis Henry III, newborn son of Amanda E. Martin and Odell Henry II of  Jefferson City, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003, at St. Mary's Health Center.

Other survivors include; maternal grandparents: Michael & Teresa Patton of Skidmore, Missouri; paternal grandparents: Odell and Maryln Henry Sr. of  Jefferson City; maternal great-grandparents: Edward & Margaret Rickelmann of St. Louis, Missouri; seven aunts: Amy Schaben, Angelique Patton, Misty Comstock, Carla Henry, Casundra Sumpter, Tabitha Tarrant, Markeela Henry and one uncle: Timonthy Henry.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2003, at the HOUSER MILLARD Funeral Directors -  Jefferson City Chapel, with Rev. Cornell C. Sudduth Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors -  Jefferson City Chapel, 2613 West Main Street; 636-3838.

ROBINETT

James Ervin Robinett, 88, of Tuscumbia, passed away July 23, 2003, at Miller County Care Center.

He was born in Brumley on April 11, 1915, a son of Sherman and Eva (Harman) Robinett. On October 21, 1938, in Lebanon, he was married to Opal M. Wyrick who survives at the home.

He served on the Production Credit Advisory Board and the Bank of Tuscumbia Advisory Board. He was a former member of the Miller County R-3 School Board and the Miller County ASCS Board. He worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps and as a heavy equipment operator. He was co-owner of Lawson-Robinett Feed Service in Tuscumbia. He farmed in Miller County until his retirement in 1980. After retirement, he enjoyed spending winters in Donna, Texas . He was a member of Mt. Zion Christian Church.

Other survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Gladys and Gene Miekley of Purdy and Judy and Marvin Patterson of Ulman; one brother, Linn Robinett of Warsaw; one sister, Francis Long of Brumley; 6 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. A great grandson, Jimmy Patterson, and a son-in-law, Curt Musick, preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Charlie, Tom, and Gordon Robinett and one sister, Emma Honeywell.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Rev. Gene Edwards will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Tuscumbia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Zion Cemetery.

ROGERS

Mrs. Theo E. Rogers, 78, of Camdenton, MO, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003 in Windsor Estates Care Center, Camdenton.

Survivors include her husband, Wade Rogers of the home; two sons, Jim Rogers & Jerry Rogers, both of Camdenton, MO; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Loren Cyrus of Camdenton, MO; three sisters, Doramae Knox of North Kansas City, MO; Margaret Pierce and Edna Bonacker of Camdenton, MO.

Visitation will be held on July 25 from 6-8 p.m. at the Allee- Holman-Howe Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sat., July 26 in the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Don Willis & Rev. J.R. McGuire officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

TWITCHELL

Sarah Jane Twitchell, 82, died Wed., July 23, 2003.

She was born December 17, 1920, in Steedman, MO, the daughter of the late Arch A. and Ida (Ladman) Rose. On February 24, 1936, she married Ralph R. Twitchell.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Delores Craighead, Betty Gowans & Jan Yoder; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one infant son, Louis Gene Twitchell; one daughter, Cora Sue Cannell; and one sister, Jessie Mae Twitchell.

Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until time of service, Saturday, July 26, 2003, at the Debo Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 26, at 10:00 a.m. at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens.

WATSON

Jeffrey Watson, 32, of Eldon, MO, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003.

He was born on June 1, 1971 in St. Louis County, MO to James Ambrose Watson and Eleanor Rae (Hileman) Watson.

He was a volunteer at the Columbia Regional Hospital since 1984. He enjoyed listening to CD music and reading. He also enjoyed fishing. He was the first student to appear in the "Who's Who" three times. He was the longest known recorded survivor of Eisenminger illness.

Survivors include: his mother & step-father, Eleanor Watson & James Csolak, of the home; his father, James Watson of Topeka, KS; two brothers, James Ambrose Watson, Jr. of Washington , D.C. and Anthony Crocker of Englewood, MO; two sisters, Theresa Christiansen and Angela Csolak, both of Eldon, MO; and grandmother, Bonnie Shaw of New Madrid, MO.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25 from 4-8 p.m. at the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, MO.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 26 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Duncan officiating. Burial will be at the Eldon City Cemetery, Eldon, MO.

Memorials are suggested to St. Louis Children's Hospital.

WEDEL

Herman J. "Woody" Wedel, 87, of West Des Moines, Iowa, died July 19, 2003, at home after a short illness.

Woody was born April 5, 1916, in McPherson County, KS, to Jacob T. and Eva Unruh Wedel.

He lived in  Oklahoma and Kansas City, MO, before moving to Des Moines with his wife in 1950. His faith and trust in God were an important part of his life. He became a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. He also enjoyed the faith community that attended Mass at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Woody and Evelyn own Iowa Jewelers Supply, which they have operated together for over 50 years.Woody received many honors and awards for his contributions to the jewelry industry. However, it was the friendships that he developed with all of his customers and colleagues that made him happy. His quiet, genuine, likeable personality and his never-ending sense of humor made everyone he met feel like family. His wife, son and daughter and their families were his greatest joy and he loved every moment with them. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Woody is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn K. Wedel; his son, Steve of St. Louis, MO, and daughter-in-law, Lynn; his daughter, Kathy Herzog of Hockessin, DE, and son-in-law, Ben; and four granddaughters: Lisa Wedel, Megan Wedel, Sarah Herzog and Kate Herzog. He was preceded in death by his brothers Roy and Arthur (infant), and sister, Erma Weis. He is survived by his brother Marvin of Enid, OK and sisters Ruby Sidman of Wichita, KS, Verbina Claassen of Whitewater, KS and Rosalie Glidewell of Lincoln, AR.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home in Mary's Home with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in West Des Moines. Additional services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Mary's Home, MO, the church where Woody and Evelyn Kempker were married in 1946. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, RR. 1, Eugene, MO. 65032 or to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1627 Grand Ave., West Des Moines, IA. 50265.

BENTZ

Joy Bentz, 86, of Kaiser, MO, died Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at Osage Beach, MO.

She was born November 1, 1916, in Tampico, IL, to David E. McCombs and Flora (Lamont) McCombs.

She was married June 5, 1948 to Lloyd R. Bentz, in Rock Falls, IL, she was preceded in death in March of 2000.

She is survived by three sons: David Bentz, Donald Kohl and Richard Kohl; three grandsons: Matthew Bentz, Clay and Nicholas Kohl; three granddaughters: Jolene Kohl, Kimberly Brausam, and Elizabeth Bentz.

Visition will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 25, 2003, at the Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon, MO.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 26, 2003, at the Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon, MO.
