STAUFFER
Virgil Dene Stauffer, age 5 months, of Versailles, passed away Saturday morning, October 4, 2003 at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.
He was born April 5, 2003 in Sedalia, son of Reuben and Elizabeth Stauffer.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, at Versailles Mennonite Church near Versailles. Interment will be in the Springhill Mennonite Cemetery near Latham.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday October 8, at the Versailles Mennonite Church.
The family requests no flowers. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

STRINGER / STRINGER
Austin Joe Stringer and Tyler James Stringer, newborns, died on Wednesday, October 1, 2003.
Survivors include their parents, James and Heidi Stringer; siblings, Christina, Kimberly and Travis Stringer and Shelby Cagle; grandmothers, Martha (Eugene) Schenewerk and Ronnie Sue (John) Stringer; great-grandmother, Alvina Heidbreder, and many other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 6 at 9:30 a.m. at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. at the Resurrection Cemetery.
Friends wishing may make memorials to Mercy Heart Prints, 615 S. New Ballas, St. Louis, MO 63141.

MUELLER
Virginia Lucille Mueller, 88, of New Bloomfield, died Friday, August 15, 2003 at the Summit Villa Lifecare in Holts Summit.
She was born May 26, 1915, in Callaway County, daughter of the late Alonzo E. and Lillian E. (Bryan) Boyer. On Dec. 22, 1934, in Fulton, she married Chester Mueller.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church in New Bloomfield with the Rev. Roger Obermeier officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday evening, Aug. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit and also 1 p.m. until time of service at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church, New Bloomfield, and Community Hospice of  Jefferson City.

ALFREY
Raymond G. Alfrey, age 90, of Linn Creek, MO, died Tuesday, October 21, 2003.
He is survived by two daughters: Betty F. Hanks of Camdenton, MO, and Shirley Crall of Linn Creek, MO; one son: Forest Pitman of Independence, MO; thirteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2003, at the Allee- Holman-Howe Funeral Home Chapel, Camdenton.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 24, in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Macks Creek, MO.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family & contributions may be left at the funeral home.

PRYOR
Charles F. "Bud" Pryor, age 72, of Versailles, passed away Sunday morning, June 1, 2003 at Capital Region Medical Center in  Jefferson City.
He was born January 9, 1931 in Clay County, Missouri, the son of Ted R. and Ruby Williams Pryor. He was united in marriage on June 14, 1953 with Marie L. Crouch, who survives of the home.
Bud was a retired purchasing agent for Fasco Industries in Eldon and later worked at Pryor's Outdoor Equipment in Versailles. He served in the U. S. Coast Guard, was a member of Golden Beach Community Church, and while living in Liberty was a deacon at the Baptist Church. He was active in the Versailles Nutrition Site and served on the board for the Meals On Wheels Program. He enjoyed sports and was a strong supporter of the Versailles School Athletic Programs.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Charles R. "Chuck" Pryor of Versailles; two daughters, Debie Pryor of San Diego, CA, and Diane Mead of Liberty; two brothers, Bill Pryor of Bedford, VA, and Richard Pryor of Grand Junction, CO; five grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in the Versailles City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Morgan County Relay for Life Cancer Fund or the Versailles Nutrition Site. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

ADDICKS
Donald Wesley Kramer Addicks, 92 years, of  Jefferson City, MO, died Saturday, October 18, 2003, at the Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born June 25, 1911, at Warrenton, MO. He was married March 25, 1936 at St. Louis, MO, to Yetta J. Kurz, who survives of the home.
He graduated from Central Methodist College in 1930 at Warrenton, MO. He had worked for the Greyhound Lines, 1935 until 1938, then he went into the insurance business for the R. C. Addicks & Associates. He then became a manager of the Greyhound Lines of Fulton, MO. He moved to  Jefferson City in 1956 and became manager of the Union Bus Depot and Greyhound Lines in  Jefferson City until his retirement from that position. He then worked for the Missouri School for the Deaf in Fulton, MO. He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Yetta Addicks, of the home; several nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. at the Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steven Burbee to officiate. Interment will be in the Warrenton Cemetery, Warrenton, MO.
Should friends desire, Memorials may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church, Hwy. 179 at Wesley Drive,  Jefferson City, MO 65109. Arrangements are under the direction of BUESCHER MEMORIAL HOME.

CARVER
Janie Sue Carver, 44, of Holts Summit, MO, died Sunday, October 26, 2003, at her home.
She was born June 6, 1959, in  Jefferson City, MO, a daughter of George and Evelyn Wolf Gilpin, who survive in  Jefferson City.
She was married June 11, 1977 in  Jefferson City to William C. Carver, Jr., who survives at the home. She was employed with the Missouri Department of Revenue,  Jefferson City, MO. She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
Other survivors include two daughters, Crystal Bell and her husband, Travis, New Bloomfield, Leeanna Walls of the home and two sons, Rusty Carver,  Jefferson City, and Casey Carver of the home; two brothers, Robbie Gilpin and Andy Gilpin, both of  Jefferson City; three sisters, Brenda Reed, Shiela Hurst and Tammy Kleffner, all of Holts Summit; two grandchildren and paternal grandmother, Ellen Gilpin, Russellville.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at Weber and Sons Funeral Home, Russellville, MO. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2003, at Central Baptist Church in  Jefferson City, MO with Rev. Craig Burcham officiating, burial will be in the Enloe Cemetery, Russellville, MO. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Missouri River Hospice, 3210 Bluff Creek Road, Columbia, MO.

CAVE
Letty Jean Cave (Williams), age 76, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2003, at the Villa Marie Nursing Home in  Jefferson City.
Born Letty J. Hickman, January 17, 1927, to Samuel R. & Sarah A. Hickman, in Brumley, MO. Mrs. Cave was a lifetime resident of Callaway County in the Fulton,  Jefferson City and Holts Summit areas. Ms. Cave was married August 15, 1948 to Marcellous W. Cave in Elko, Nevada, he preceded her in death in 1964.
Mrs. Cave was a retired employee of the Missouri National Guard of  Jefferson City, MO, a founding member of the Fulton Slusher Club, XYZ Club of New Bloomfield, member of First Baptist Church of Fulton, Concord Baptist Church in  Jefferson City and Providence Baptist of New Bloomfield.
She is survived by one son: Michael Cave of Fulton; two daughters: Kathy Kronk of Fulton and Rayma Cave of New Bloomfield; five grandsons: Marcellous and Damon Kronk, both of Fulton, Aaron and Shannon Cave, both of Springfield, and Bobby Brockgreitens of St. Charles; one granddaughter: Stephanie Cave of St. Charles; one brother: Neal Hickman of New Bloomfield; twin sister: Betty Baker and her husband Karl of Indian Harbour, Florida; two great grandchildren: Alexander Kronk and Katy Kronk of Fulton and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Jeanne Cave in April 1949, and her parents Samuel and Addie Hickman, her brothers Emmet Hickman, Leslie Hickman, Rolland Hickman and her sisters Nina Hickman, Nelda Gaines and Doris Jones.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2003, from 4-7 p.m. at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, with funeral services at Providence Baptist Church in New Bloomfield, Sunday, November 2, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Jim Shaver officiating. Interment will be at the Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton.
Memorial gifts may be made to Providence Baptist Church in New Bloomfield, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas, Fulton, MO 65251.

VOLLMER
Mary Josephine (nee Travis), of St. Louis, MO, was fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Wednesday, October 29, 2003.
She was the beloved wife of the late Edward L. Vollmer; dearest mother of Joanne V. Beugg (Wayne), Alice V. Austin (Gene) and Barry Volmer (Patricia) of  Jefferson City, MO; dear grandmother of Alan Beugg (Janice), Peter Beugg, Katherine Beugg, Josephine Austin, Michael Vollmer and Andrew Vollmer, dear sister of Glen Travis and the late John Travis; our dear sister-in-law; aunt; great-aunt; cousin and a dear friend.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at The Church of the Immacolata, 8900 Clayton Rd., Richmond Heights, on Monday November 3, at 10 a.m. The interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Louis, 4127 Forest Park Ave., St. Louis, MO.
The family will receive friends at the LUPTON Chapel, 7233 Delmar Blvd., University City, on Sunday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Arrangements by James A. Francis of the Lupton Chapel.

STRADER
Ralph Louis Strader, 89, of Sedalia, died Thursday, October 30, 2003 at the Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.
He was born September 18, 1914, in Corder, Missouri, son of William D. and Mary Carolyn Borgstadt Strader. On July 18, 1936, in Marshall, Missouri, he married Juanita Mae Wolf, who survives of the home.
Mr. Strader was a member of First Baptist Church, where he served on the communion committee for many years. He worked as a meat cutter at the Stewart Avenue Market, which later became a Bi-Rite Market, and at Thriftway in Knob Noster, retiring in 1979. He was a graduate of Houstonia High School.
Mr. Strader was a United States Army veteran of World War II, serving from 1943-1946. He was a Prisoner of War in Germany for five months. He was a member of American Legion Post 16, American Ex Prisoners of War and Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Strader, of the home; a son, Ralph Strader, Jr., of  Jefferson City; a daughter, Linda Morris, of Sedalia; four granddaughters; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Harriet K. Strader; two brothers, Harry Strader and Horace Strader; and a sister, Emily Cooper.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 1 at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Drew Hill officiating. Pallbearers will be Don Barbour, Howard Durrill, Jake Webb, Bob Goldsmith, Charles Goosen and Fred Biggs. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home. Friends may also sign the guest register online at www. heckart-gillespie. com
The family suggests memorial contributions to First Baptist Church or American Ex Prisoners of War.

BLUME
Grace Blume, 73, of Grand Prairie, TX, formerly of Rolla, died Sunday, November 2, 2003.
She was born on May 28, 1930 in St. Louis, MO.
Grace was a longtime member of St. Josephs in  Jefferson City, St. Peters in  Jefferson City and St. Michaels in Bedford, TX.
Survivors include 4 children, Vince Blume and wife Kristi, Theresa Blume, Nick Blume and Chuck Blume and wife Kimberly; 2 brothers, Bill Higley and wife Eleanor, Jerry Higley and wife Bev, 2 sisters Fran Davis and Patricia Dotson; 3 grandchildren, DaKrina Norvell, Blaise Blume and Rheannon Blume; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2003 at St. Patrick Church with Father Greg Higley officiating. Burial will follow in the Rolla Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5 at Kordes Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be conducted at 7 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society; cards are available at the funeral home.

TILLERY
Mrs. Margie L. Tillery, age 76 years, of  Jefferson City, MO, died Sunday, November 2, 2003 at the Villa Marie Nursing Center.
She was born February 23, 1927 at  Jefferson City, MO, the daughter of Eli A. and Ida Mae Inman Sanders, both deceased. She was married in 1945 to James Vinyard who preceded her in death. On December 12, 1949, she married Albert "Tex" Henzler, who preceded her in death on April 12, 1979. On March 13, 1991, at Palmyra, MO, she married James W. Tillery, who survives at the home.
A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, Mrs. Tillery attended  Jefferson City Schools. She was employed as a Nurse's Aide at the Charles E. Still Hospital for twenty-six years prior to her retirement in 1989. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church for sixty-seven years and a member of the Clowns For Jesus. She did volunteer work at Charles E. Still Hospital and at Villa Marie Nursing Center.
Other survivors include: Two sons, James A. Vinyard and his wife, Melodie of New Bloomfield, MO and Bruce A. Henzler and his wife, Lisa of  Jefferson City, MO; one stepdaughter, Doris Haff of Weatherford,  Oklahoma; one sister, Esther Loethen of  Jefferson City, MO; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Patsy Elwood, four brothers, Harry Sanders, Carl Sanders, Leroy Sanders, and Charles Sanders. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Nadine Wininger and Alma Cuno.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2003 at the First Assembly of God Church with the Reverend Lowell Perkins officiating. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Freeman Mortuary from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to The American Heart Assn. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
