MARSHALL
John Dean Marshall, age 59, of Versailles, passed away Friday afternoon, September 26, 2003 in California.
He was born December 12, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Bert E. and Versalean A. West Marshall.
He worked at Cargill Inc. in California, and had worked at Williams Lumber in Versailles for over 30 years. He was an avid sports fan and especially the Kansas City Chiefs.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Anne Marshall of the home; three sons, Kenneth Wayne Marshall of St. Peters, MO, Barry Lee Marshall of Versailles, and Christopher Heath Marshall of the home; three daughters, Dina Gail Berendzen of Richmond, MO, Lori Gay Caldwell of Blue Springs, MO, and Crystal Dawn Marshall of the home; three brothers, Robert Marshall of Versailles; two sisters, Joyce Gordan of Kansas City, MO, and Rita Pratt of Warsaw; and 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 29 at the KIDWELL-GARBER Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Versailles Booster Club.

WINGS
Jayden Cain Wings, infant son of Teron and Deshaun Wings, died Friday, September 26, 2003 at the University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital.
He is survived by his parents, Teron and Deshaun Mayberry Wings of Fulton; one brother, Christian Mayberry of the home; one sister, Trenae Wings of the home; maternal grandparents Dennis and Glenda Mayberry of Holts Summit; paternal grandmother Sherry Nichols of St. Louis; maternal great grandparents: Earlene Brown of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Cameron and Agnes Mayberry of Jonesboro, Arkansas; paternal great grandmothers, Alice Nichols of St. Louis and Pecola Wings of St. Louis.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Columbia. Arrangements are under the direction of HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors, 2613 W. Main, 636-3838.

RAMSEY
Ronald LeRoy Ramsey "Ronnie, Firemaster, Ron" age 49 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Sept. 17, 2003, at  Jefferson City.
He was born June 21, 1954, at Painesville, Ohio, the son of Forrest and Irene M. Pierce Fog. His mother, Irene M. Ramsey, survives at Mentor, Ohio.
He was a graduate of the Mentor High School in Ohio and was a member of the Southridge Baptist Church, baptized June 20, 2002, in  Jefferson City. He had served with the United States Marine Corps. He had been employed in the construction industry.
Other survivors include two brothers, Dennis A. Fog of LaPorte, Texas and William R. Fog of Erie, Pennsylvania , and one sister, Shirley J. Holtzman of Spartansburg, Pa.
A Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday October 4, 2003, at 2:30 p.m. by Pastor Jim Walker at Larry's Lake in Russellville, Mo.
Come and celebrate "Firemaster's" Life after 1:00 p.m., meat provided, B. Y. O. B., Frisbees, kites, fishing gear, chairs, etc. for the !!! Good Times!!! and stay for the BON-FIRE.
Directions to Larry's Lake, take Hwy. 54 S., right on Route D, 5 miles to Millbrook, left to Tellman, left and follow signs.
Arrangements are under the direction of BUESCHER MEMORIAL HOME.

TELFER
Janice Telfer, 72, Beverly Hills, FL died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, in Crystal River, FL.
Born Oct. 7, 1931, in Morris, IL to Edwin and Emma H. (Wiegand) Classen, she moved from  Jefferson City, MO eight years ago.
Mrs. Telfer was a homemaker, a member of Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church of Citrus Springs, FL, WELCA, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary, St. Martins, MO. She dedicated her life to God, her husband and family.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Alexander R. Telfer, of Beverly Hills, FL; son John Telfer and wife Sherry of Camdenton, MO; two daughters, Debra Klegman and husband, William of Coal City, IL and Sally Modica and husband, Jeff of Strafford, MO; brother, Ronald Classen and wife, Marcia of Fountain Hills, AZ; brother-in-law, Gene Telfer and wife Peggy of Hernando, FL; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services were under the direction of the Fero Funeral Home with Crematory, Beverly Hills, FL.

BUSCHER
Silas "Pudd" Buscher, age 76 years, of St. James, Mo. died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla, Mo.
He was born Nov. 2, 1927 in Freedom, Mo. the son of William & Hannah (Bogle) Buscher, both deceased.
Mr. Buscher lived much of his life in the Cuba, Mo. area, where he was employed in the lumber business, and worked at the sawmill.
He was a member of the Lane Union Church, Osage County, Mo. Survivors include: 4 sisters: Josephine Holland of Washington , Mo., Serenera Benton of St. Clair, Mo., Katherine Gelven of Belle, Mo., & Veneda Drautigam of Washington , Mo. & 1 brother: Everett Buscher of Payette, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by 8 brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the Morton Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Townley officiating. Burial will be at the Lane Cemetery, Osage County, Mo.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Buscher Family Memorial Fund.

NEWMANN
Roy J. Newmann, 77, Crestwood, died Nov. 7, 2003, at his home.
He is the beloved husband of 50 years to Jacqueline J. Newmann (nee Tellman); dearest father of Mary Paula Vien (Gary), Michael Newmann (Candi), Kaye Huch (Bob, deceased), Craig G. Newmann, Jan Marie Roseberry (Rick) and Jackie Ann Gilbert (John); loving Grandpa of Paul and David Newmann, Peter and Carolyn Roseberry, Ellen, Brian and Scott Huch, Kathryn and Laura Vien and Matthew and Jennifer Gilbert. Besides the immediate family he leaves two sisters and four brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Mr. Newmann was a World War II veteran of the Navy Air Corps, retired employee of 41 years with Southwestern Bell, a life member of the Telephone Pioneers, an assistant Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 683, Captain for 28 years for Men's White House Retreat for St. Elizabeth of Hungary parish, and proud owner of the R. J. Ranch in Gasconade County.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 11, at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, with a mass celebrated at 10 a.m.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Monday at Pfitzinger Funeral Home, St. Louis.
Visitation, followed by a rosary and prayer service, will also be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, Marys Home. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the White House Retreat Center or the Shrine of St. Joseph.

WATERS
J. B. Waters, 90, Eldon, died Nov. 7, 2003, in  Jefferson City.
He was born Aug. 15, 1913 in Kansas City, Kan., a son of James A. and Bertha (Beaumont) Waters.
He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, Pacific Theater, serving as a Chief Pharmacist's Mate for seven years. He was a pharmaceutical salesman for Winthrop-Sterns. In 1952 he moved from Tulsa,  Oklahoma to Lake Ozark, Missouri to open Lakeside Casino Restaurant and the following year he operated the White House in Lake Ozark. He owned and operated the Dining Lodge at Bennett Springs State Park for twelve years. He was secretary treasurer for Frontier Tower Life Insurance Company in  Jefferson City, Missouri. He was a member of the Lake Ozark Christian Church for over fifty years. He was active in the Lake Ozark Lions Club during the time he lived there. He was also a member of the V. F. W. Post #2442 of Eldon, Missouri.
Survivors include: a loving friend, Pauline Stanton, Lake Ozark, Missouri; one daughter, Saundra J. Hodge, Eldon, Missouri; grandchildren, Stacy and husband Donny Schulte, Eldon, Missouri, and Michael and wife Kris Hodge, Springfield, Missouri; three great-grandchildren, John Michael Schulte, Eldon, Missouri, and Jessica and Keaghan Hodge, both of Springfield, Missouri; and one sister, Carolyn Peebles, Happy Jack, Arizona.
Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, Nov. 10, 2003 at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, Missouri. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Eldon, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the funeral.
Memorials are suggested to the Eldon V. F. W. Post #2442.

LEFFERT
May Nichole Leffert, daughter of Michael and Carin Dredge Leffert, of Versailles, was stillborn Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at Capitol Region Medical Center in  Jefferson City.
Her parents survive of the home.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 10, at the Versailles Cemetery, with Father C. D. Ryan officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles.

ENNIS
Fern C. Ennis, age 87, of rural Curryville, died Saturday, November 15, 2003, at the family home after a long illness.
She was born August 31, 1916, in Bay Field, Arkansas to James Sigel & Mamie (Thomas) Carrens. She was married November 28, 1942, in St. Louis, to H. Leon Ennis, he preceded her in death on December 25, 1995.
She had been a Vandalia resident since 1947. She was a retired teacher and had taught in the Vandalia Schools from 1953 until 1980. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Vandalia and was a member of the state teachers association. She graduated in 1956 from Culver-Stockton College with her teaching degree.
She is survived by two sons: Dr. James & wife Linda Ennis of  Jefferson City, and Dr. Robert & wife Sharon Ennis of Lee's Summit; one daughter: Barbara & husband Woody Eppelsheimer of Berthoud, CO; one brother: Dwight Carrens of Pittman, Arkansas; one sister: Helen Johnson of Maynard, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Ashley Greeno, Keith & Kirk Eppelsheimer, Greg & Andrew Ennis; one great granddaughter: Riley Elizabeth Greeno; and several neices and newphews. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Vernon, Sigel and Ralph Carrens; one sister: Lula Mae McCauley.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2003 at Waters Funeral Chapel, Vandalia, MO.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2003, at the First Baptist Church, Vandalia, MO, with Rev. Charles Carrens & Rev. Bob Hoehn officiating. Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Parkinsons Research Foundation or The First Baptist Church, Vandalia.

VAUGHAN
Bessie Mae Vaughan, 81, of Dixon, died Wednesday, November 19, in the Phelps County Regional Center, Rolla.
Survivors include 4 sons, Robert Vaughan, state of New York, Richard Vaughan, St. Louis, David and Tommy Vaughan, both of Dixon; 1 brother, Robert Briscoe, St. Louis; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 21, and 10-11 a.m. Saturday, November 22, in the Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 22, at the Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon, with Brother Charles Pitt officiating. Interment in the West Fairview Cemetery, Dixon.
Memorials are suggested to the West Fairview Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.

ROHRBACH
Bobby L. Rohrbach, 70, California, died Nov. 3, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Dec. 21, 1931, in California, a son of Warner O. and Lula Kobel Rohrbach. He was married Dec. 21, 1952, in Clarksburg, to Jean Donley, who survives at the home.
He was a 1949 graduate of Clarksburg High School and attended Veterans Ag School. He was a farmer and a rural mail carrier for 30 years, retiring in 1996. He was a member of California United Church of Christ, where he had served on the consistory, was a former Sunday school superintendent, youth fellowship leader, served on the Habitat for Humanity committee and the search committee for the associate pastor. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Other survivors include: one son, Mitch Rohrbach,  Jefferson City; two daughters, Cathy DeLisa, Phoenix, Ariz., and Beth Rohrbach-Sandlin, Redondo Beach, Calif. ; one sister, Luella Henry, Calif. ; two grandchildren, three step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at California United Church of Christ. The Rev. Gary Schulte and the Rev. Colette Jones will officiate. Burial will be in the Evangelical Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to California United Church of Christ Building Fund, 101 N. Oak St., California, MO or a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.

WEBER
Edna May Weber, 93, California, died Nov. 3, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Aug. 6, 1909, in Russellville, a daughter of Arthur and Cora Morrow Scrivner. She was married, in Russellville, to Hugo Weber, who died July 9, 1977.
She graduated from Russellville High School and worked at Von Hoffmann Press prior to her retirement. She was the oldest living member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Russellville. She was a member of Eugene Chapter 386 OES for 50 years.
Survivors include: one son, Bill Weber, California; one sister, Ethelyn Beck,  Jefferson City; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
One infant daughter, Ramona Jean Weber, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. The Rev. Alan Earls and the Rev. Farrie L. Cole will officiate. Burial will be in Enloe Cemetery, Russellville.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Weber and Sons Funeral Home, Russellville. Eastern Star services will be at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Mt. Olive Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
