KIRCHOFF
Ronald K. Kirchoff, 61, California, Mo., passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at Capital Region Medical Center in  Jefferson City, Missouri.
He was born on January 10, 1943 in Moniteau County, Missouri, the son of Jesse and Grace Walter Kirchoff, who preceded him in death. He was married on July 21, 1961 at Pilot Grove Baptist Church near Latham, Mo., to Betty Engelbrecht who survives of the home.
He graduated from California High School in 1960 and also graduated from Lincoln University in  Jefferson City, Mo. He was a lifelong member of Salem United Church of Christ and worked for 34 years as Senate Administrator and also enjoyed farming. Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Meyer and her husband David of California, Mo., and Paula Wolken and her husband Ken of California, Mo., two brothers, Roger Kirchoff and his wife Dorothy of California, Mo., and Gail Kirchoff and his wife Joyce of Frankfort, Michigan, one sister, Judy Gibler and her husband Jim of California, Mo., and four grandchildren, Caitlin Meyer, Cameron Meyer, John Wolken and Jacob Wolken. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jean and Tom Kirchoff and one sister June Meller. Funeral services will be on Friday, April 30, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at California United Church of Christ in California, Mo. Officiating will be Rev. Gary Schulte and Rev. Collette Jones. Burial will be in Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery, southeast of California, Mo. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 29, 2004 from 4:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at the California United Church of Christ in the Multi-Purpose Room in California, Mo. Memorials are suggested to Salem United Church of Christ, PO Box 12, McGirk, Mo. 65055. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, Mo.

TRISLER
John E. Trisler, 47, Auxvasse, died Monday, April 26, 2004, at the home of his parents.
He was born June 29, 1956, in Mexico, Mo., the son of James A. and Babette (Bayer) Trisler.
He is survived by his parents, James A. and Donna (Cashion) Trisler; his mother, Babette Trisler; two sons, Joshua Trisler, Sgt. Jason Trisler; five brothers, James K. Trisler, Jeffrey D. Trisler, Monte E. Trisler, Eric N. Trisler, Wade W. Trisler; two sisters, Janette Helton, Annette Kennon; grandfather, Albert W. Cashion.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton.
Family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

WHITTLER
Robert Whittler, 75, of New Bloomfield, died Monday, May 3, 2004, at the Oak View Living Center in  Jefferson City.
Survivors include: his wife, Bernice, of the home; one son, Irvin Butch Whittler of Columbia; one daughter, Robin Butler of Columbia; one brother, Arthur Whittler of Kansas City; four sisters, Helen Reynolds of New Bloomfield, Jaunita Taylor and Dorothy Turner, both of  Jefferson City, and Ruby Smith of Columbia; several grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 5, at the Oak Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Guthrie. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.

BLACKWELL
Jason S. Blackwell, age 25 years, of Holts Summit, Mo., left his world for a better place on Friday, May 14, 2004, in Callaway County, Mo. after an automobile accident.
Jason was born August 6, 1978 at Columbia, Mo., the son of Steven C. and Sharon M. Chapman Blackwell. His father, Steven C. Blackwell survives in Seattle, Washington , and his mother, Sharon Blackwell survives in Russellville, Mo.
Jason in sixth grade was at the top of his class and participated in E. E. R. Throughout his school days and during his life he was exceptional at details. He played competitive hockey at age twelve and through his sixteenth year was a goalie. Jason's easy going style kept team members in high spirits. Starting at an early age in drawing, Jason proceeded to be a tattoo artist. Giving a part of himself in everything that he did, Jason was able to put a smile on the faces he met. He will not be forgotten.
Other survivors include; one son, Dinnin of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; one brother, Cyrus of Seattle, Washington ; and a paternal grandmother, Ina of Maryland Heights, Mo.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 2004 in the Freeman Chapel.
Friends may call at the Freeman Mortuary from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Jason Blackwell Memorial Fund for his son, Dinnin. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

KNOX
Thomas James Knox, age 48, of Camdenton, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2004, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
He was born July 12, 1955, in Jackson County, Missouri, the son of Chester and Marjorie Knox. He married Kathleen Gibson, who survives.
Mr. Knox was a truck driver for Gainey Transportation, was a U. S. Navy Veteran and member of the American Legion Zack Wheat Post #624 in Sunrise Beach, and the National Rifle Association.
Graveside services with military honors will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 22, at Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery in Laurie. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie.

WIXSON
Mr. Dustin M. Wixson, age 25 years, of Holts Summit, Mo., died Friday, May 14, 2004, in Callaway County, Mo. after an automobile accident.
Mr. Wixson was born January 21, 1979 in Monmouth, Illinois, the son of Jamie R. and Shelly Strange Wixson. His father, Jamie R. Wixson survives in Holts Summit, Mo. and his mother, Shelly Bohanan survives in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Dustin has been a resident of Central Missouri for the past 13 years and he attended  Jefferson City High School.
Other survivors include: his fiancee, Stephanie Wiebold of Holts Summit, Mo. ; two brothers, Jeremiah J. Wixson of High Point, Mo. and Waylon Stegall of Knoxville, Illinois; paternal grandmother, Bonnie Wixson of Burlington, Iowa.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 2004, in the Freeman Chapel. Interment will be at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Holts Summit, Mo.
Friends may call at the Freeman Mortuary from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Dustin Wixson Memorial Fund. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

NEELY
Mr. William LeRoy Neely, age 88 years, of Holts Summit, Mo., died Thursday, May 20, 2004, at the Capital Region Medical Center.
Mr. Neely was born August 12, 1915 in Cedar City, Mo., the son of Charles E. and Nettie E. Wren Neely, both deceased. He was married in 1967 to Dorothy F. Hall. Mr. Neely graduated from Cedar City School.
He served in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Neely was a purchasing agent for Ellis-Fischel Hospital, Columbia, Mo. from 1960 until 1975 and with the University of Missouri Hospital from 1975 until 1979.
He was a member of the Cedar City Baptist Church; a member of the Nomad Shrine Club; a member of the Moolah Temple; a life member of the B. P. O. of Elks, Columbia, Mo. ; a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Roy Sone Post 1003; a member of the American Legion, Roscoe Enloe Post 5; a honorary member of the Albdoo Shrine Temple, Billings, Montana; and the Fleet Reserve Officers Assn.
Other survivors include: one son, Charles Lee Neely of Grain Valley, Mo. ; one sister, Ruby McNew of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; two grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
A private family memorial service will be conducted. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

AUTENRIETH
Myrtle Virginia Autenrieth, 66, of Mokane, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004.
She was born Dec. 15, 1937, the daughter of the late Fred and Bessie (McCall) Shoaf. She married Donald Autenrieth Sr. on Jan. 23, 1955.
Survivors include one daughter, Lena Lee Paul; one son, Donald Autenrieth Jr. ; two sisters, Bonnie Holt and Dorothy Opperman Rodgers; four grandchildren; five brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, and a daughter Rita Frasher.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Rev. Jack Freeman officiating. Burial in Callaway Memorial Gardens cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

HAMPTON
Dorothy Marie Hampton, 80, of New Bloomfield, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at her home.
Survivors include: her husband, Oscar Lee Hampton, of the home; two daughters, Betty Jean McLauchlin of Holts Summit and Pamela Coots of New Bloomfield; one son, Kevin Hampton of New Bloomfield; a beloved nephew, Wendell Powell, who lived with Dorothy for many years; seven grandchildren; two step grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild; three sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, June 7, at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow in Steedman cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

BOND
Larry Lou Bond, age 46 of Iberia, died Thursday, June 10, at his home.
He was born in Iberia on May 12, 1958, a son of Bobbie Lou Bond and Lola Fae (Helton) Harlan.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, June 14, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Union Cemetery near Iberia.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia, MO. (573)793-2211.

SPENCER
John Henry Spencer, 75, of Holts Summit, died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at the Harry S. Truman VA Hospital in Columbia.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Summers, of the home; two daughters, Carolyn Mobley of Holts Summit and Anita Murphy of  Jefferson City; two sons, Charles Spencer of  Jefferson City and Kenneth Spencer of Holts Summit; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lucinda Zeugin of Fulton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 13, at the Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Bull Cemetery in Holts Summit.
Family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

COATES
Joe Louis Coates Sr., age 65, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at Capital Region Medical Center,  Jefferson City.
He was born May 30, 1939 in Fulton, Mo., to Buford Richmond and Allie Bell Coates.
He earned a B. S. from Lincoln University,  Jefferson City, in sociology, and a Masters degree from the University of MO in sociology. He worked 38 years with the Fulton State Hospital. He was the first head of the Alcohol & Abuse Ward at the Fulton State Hospital from 1973 to 1982, and the supervisor of education at Fulton State Hospital from 1982-1996.
He was a member of the State Board of Alcohol & Drug Abuse, a member of Second Baptist Church,  Jefferson City, Mo., and a former member of Interracial Council at Lincoln University,  Jefferson City.
Survivors include: his wife, Lavona Coates, of  Jefferson City; three sons, Joe L. Coates Jr. and Daniel Coates, both of  Jefferson City, Neal Coates of Phoenix, Ariz. ; two daughters, Robin Coates Brandon of St. Louis, Mo. and Angela Coates of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; one brother, Ambrose Estil Cheatum of Los Angeles, Calif. ; one sister, Jane Bierdman Fike of Fulton, Mo. ; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Friday, June 11, at the Warren Funeral Chapel, 107 W. 6th St., Fulton, Mo., with a sharing of memories being held from 7:30-9 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church at Bluff & 6th Street, Fulton, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 12 at the Second Baptist Church,  Jefferson City, with Rev. Cornell Suddeth officiating. Burial will take place at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens in  Jefferson City.
Memorials are suggested to the Joe L. Coates Sr. Memorial Fund for treatment of alcohol & drug treatment, c/o Warren Funeral Chapel, 107 W. 6th St., Fulton, MO 65251.

GENTILI
Mr. Joseph F. Gentili Jr., age 59 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Thursday, June 10, 2004, at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral arrangements for Mr. Gentili, under the direction of Freeman Mortuary, are incomplete and will be announced at a later time.
