Vivian Rae Vaught Jones, age 64, of Iberia, died Thursday, August 12, 2004, at St. Elizabeth Care Center.
She was born in Pueblo, Colo. on July 5, 1940, a daughter of Charles Raymond and Doris Vivian Dixon Vaught.
Survivors include: four sons, Richard Brawley; Raymond Jones; Robert Jones and Randel Jones; three daughters, Robin Barton, Rebecca Jones and Doris Jones; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 15, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the Victory Hill Baptist Church.

JONES
Reber Jones, 91, Crocker, died Wednesday, August 11, 2004, in the Capital Region Medical Center,  Jefferson City.
He was born July 31, 1913, in Crocker, a son of Floy and Beulah Smelcer Jones. He was married to Sylvia Ledbetter, who preceded him in death in 1952, he later married Virginia Routh, who preceded him in death in 1986.
Survivors include: one son, Niles Jones,  Jefferson City; two daughters, Karen Rast, Florida, Kathy Stewart, Kirkwood; one brother, J. W. Jones, Crocker; one sister, Vina Smokov, New Mexico; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday at the Long Funeral Home, Crocker.
Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. Friday and 10-11 a.m. Saturday, in the Long Funeral Home, Crocker.

MEISEL
John L. Meisel, 86, of  Jefferson City died Wednesday, August 11, 2004, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born October 18, 1917, in Cole County, a son of John L. and Ida Propst Meisel. He attended the Immanuel Lutheran School at Honey Creek. He was married April 27, 1941, in Lohman to Edna Hutschreider, who preceded him in death on March 8, 1992.
John was a lifelong farmer in the Wardsville area. He served as a Corporal in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Honey Creek, where he served as an Elder, on the Board of Education, and with Voter's Assembly. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by two sons, Ronald D. Meisel and wife, Charnell of  Jefferson City, John Lee Meisel and wife, Judy of Lohman; one daughter, Carolyn Fluegel and husband, Keith of  Jefferson City; one brother, Clarence Meisel of Pueblo, Colorado; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Henry Meisel.
Friends will be received from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2004, at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Russ Bowder officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or School. Arrangements are under the direction of HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors, 2613 W. Main St., 636-3838.

OYLER
Donald Lee Oyler Jr., age 80, of Versailles, died Wednesday, August 11, 2004.
He was born January 20, 1924, to Donald & Daisy Oyler. He married Pauline Rouse.
Survivors, his wife: Pauline Oyler, of the home; children: David Oyler of Golden, Colo., Evva Lisenbee of Versailles, Carl Oyler of St. Joseph, Mo., Cindi Conway of Kimberling City, Mo., Bill Oyler of St. Louis, Mo., Paula Calton of Lockhart, Texas , Daniel Oyler of Temple, Texas , and Karen Hargrove of Shawnee, Kansas.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 14, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Interment in Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery, Laurie.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles.

SANDERS
Fred "Freddie" Sanders, 71, California, Mo., died Thursday, August 12, 2004, at St. Marys Health Center in  Jefferson City, Mo.
Complete arrangements will be announced later by Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, Mo.

TEEL
Loris Lorene Teel, age 77, of Dixon, died August 11, 2004, in the St. John's Mercy Hospital, in Springfield.
She was born July 10, 1927, a daughter of James and Clara Bouldware Howser. She was married to Mike Blakenship who preceded her in death in 1975. She later married Louie Teel, who preceded her in death in 1999.
She is survived by one son, David Blankenship; two step sons, Dwight "Buddy" Teel and Louie Teel Jr; one daughter, Gladys Hargett; one step daughter, Carol Fox; four grandchildren; seven step grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, August 15, at the Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m., Saturday, and 1-2 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

BELL
Mrs. Lyndell B. Bell, age 92, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2004.
She was born in Perry, Mo., to William and Elsie (Ore) Elam.
She was a school teacher. She was the head of Senator Stewart Symington Re-Election Campaign in Mo., a member of Missouri Federation of Business and Professional Women's Club, received many honors from Presbyterian Church spanning from 1965-2004. She was active in the Democratic party.
Mrs. Bell is survived by four nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2004, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 16000 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, Arizona.

EMORY
Bernice Norris Emory, age 80, of Salem, Mo., died Monday, August 16, 2004.
Survivors include: her husband Alex, of Salem; three children, Sharon Glenn & husband Don of Salem, Lynn Engle & husband Robert of  Jefferson City, Rick Emory & wife Lisa of Salem; 1 very special nephew, Jack Emory & wife Pam of Salem; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Hall of Licking, Glenda Green of Bolivar, Betty Ramsey of Bolivar; five brothers, John Norris of Marshall, Herman Norris Jr. of Warsaw, Troy Norris of Grain Valley, Kenneth Norris and Carl Norris, both of Salem.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 18, from 5-8 p.m. at Spencer Chapel in Salem.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 19 at 11 a.m. at Spencer Chapel in Salem with interment in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Salem.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Diabetes Association. All arrangements are under the direction of Spencer Funeral Home.

BORGHARDT
Mike Borghardt, 41, California, Mo., passed away Saturday, August 21, 2004 near California, Mo.
Arrangements are pending under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, Mo.

SCHULTE
Craig Daniel Schulte, 30, of St. Martins, died Tuesday, August 17, 2004, at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri.
He was born February 8, 1974, in Fort Huachuca, Arizona, a son of Ralph John and Patricia Ann (Watts) Schulte. He was a 1992 graduate of Helias High School.
He worked as a carpenter with Local 945 from 1992 - 2003. He was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church. Craig loved to play golf and enjoyed music and playing classical piano. He was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs Fan.
He is survived by a daughter, Taylor L. Schulte of  Jefferson City; his parents, Ralph and Pat Schulte of St. Martins; maternal grandfather, John Watts of St. Martins and three brothers, Robert E. Schulte of  Jefferson City; Matthew J. Schulte of Vienna and Brian J. Schulte of  Jefferson City.
Friends will be received from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2004, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors -  Jefferson City Chapel, with a prayer service to be held at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2004, at St. Martins Catholic Church, with Fr. Edwin A. Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Martins Church Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Taylor Schulte Education Fund or to St. Martins Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the HOUSER-MIL- LARD Funeral Directors -  Jefferson City Chapel, 2613 West Main Street; 636-3838.

SCHNEIDER
Frances Pauline Schneider, age 80, of Morrison, Mo., died Tuesday, August 17, 2004, at Frene Valley Geriatric & Rehabilitation Center, Hermann, Mo.
She was born April 15, 1924, in Morrison, Mo., to Ernst G. Thuli and Pauline J. Thuli (Nee Englert). She was married to Clarence A. Schneider April 19, 1949, at the Assumption Church, Morrison, Mo. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2004.
She was a member of the Assumption Church in Morrison, Mo. Clarence and Frances both farmed the family centennial farm in the Morrison area. She was also employed at the International Shoe Factory in Hermann. She enjoyed cooking, sewing & gardening. She was a member of the Ladies Sodality and a member of the Catholic Knights of America.
She is survived by one son: Ed and wife Suzy Schneider of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; three daughters: Dorothy and husband Bob Riebold of  Jefferson City, Mo., Betty and husband Allen Kirchner of Warrenton, Mo., and Carol and husband David Dye of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota; two sisters: Gertrude and husband Leroy Witthaus of Morrison, Mo., and Marcianna and husband Clifford Staley of Chamois, Mo; one brother: Ervin Thuli of Morrison, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Rose Lammers and two brothers, John & Herman Thuli.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Chris Riebold, Madisonville, Kentucky, Jennifer Ponder, Warrenton, Kim Riebold,  Jefferson City, Jill Young, Greenville, Illinois, Carissa, Sara, Hana & Chandler Dye, Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, and Eric & Amy Schneider of  Jefferson City; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2004, at the Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, Morrison, Mo., with a Rosary at 7:45 p.m.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, at the Assumption Church in Morrison, Mo., with the Father Patrick Dowling officiating. Burial will be in the Assumption Cemetery, Morrison, Mo.
Memorials are suggested to the Church, cemetery or masses.

MILLARD
John Richard Millard Jr., 28, of Columbia, Missouri, formerly of  Jefferson City, died Wednesday, August 18, 2004, at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri.
He was born September 25, 1975, in  Jefferson City, a son of John Richard and Cyndy (Haller) Millard. He was a 1994 graduate of  Jefferson City High School and went on to attend the University of Missouri - Columbia, where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He also attended Columbia College.
John was a lover of music and has been a D. J. for several dance clubs in Columbia, Missouri since 1995. He was also a member of the First Christian Church in  Jefferson City.
He is survived by his parents, Rich & Cyndy Millard of  Jefferson City; paternal grandfather, John P. Millard of Fulton; a sister, Beth Gardner (husband Carl) of Columbia; a nephew, Curtis Gardner; three nieces, Kathryn Gardner, Sara Jane Gardner and Genny Gardner; two aunts, Wendy Long (husband John) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Ginger Kurten (husband Terry) of Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Friends will be received from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2004, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors -  Jefferson City Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2004, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors -  Jefferson City Chapel, with Rev. Barbara Gulick officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery in  Jefferson City.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 327 East Capitol Avenue,  Jefferson City, MO 65101. Arrangements are under the direction of the HOUSER-MIL- LARD Funeral Directors -  Jefferson City Chapel, 2613 West Main Street; (573) 636-3838.

KOTTWITZ
Delmar Keith Kottwitz, 78, of Fulton, died Monday, August 16, 2004, in a Fulton nursing home.
Survivors include: four sons, Eldon with his wife Lucille of Kansas City, Keith of the country of Oman, Phillip of Fulton, and Douglas with his wife Jane of St. James; one daughter, Helen Thompson with her husband Kevin of Sparland, Illinois; four grandchildren, Robert, Blake, Andrea, and Hannah; a special friend, Billie Lawson; and three brothers, Maynard, Cleo & Willard.
Services are planned for Friday, August 20, at 11 a.m. at the Sassmann's Funeral Home in Bland. Interment will be in the Bland Union Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Friday morning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
