NEEL
Gerald Frederick Neel, age 75 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Thursday, October 7, 2004, at Oak View Living Center.
Funeral arrangements for Mr. Neel are incomplete under the direction of Buescher Memorial Home.

RICHARDSON
Mr. Norwood R. "Red" Richardson, age 81 years, of Holts Summit, Mo., died Thursday evening, October 7, 2004, at his home.
Mr. Richardson was born March 31, 1923 at Hartsburg, Mo., the son of Henon and Minnie Heath Richardson, both deceased. He was married in 1942 at Columbia, Mo. to Clara M. Ravenscraft who preceded him in death on November 13, 1997.
A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, Mr. Richardson graduated from Ashland High School, Ashland, Mo. He was employed as a laborer in the construction industry for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include: three sons, Jerry Richardson and his wife Nicki of Springfield, Mo., Dennis Richardson and his wife Marcia of Barnett, Mo., and Bruce Richardson and his wife Betty of Holts Summit, Mo. ; one daughter-in-law, Shirley Richardson of Holts Summit, Mo. ; three sisters, Helen Faye Stone of Hallsville, Mo., Noreen Ketchem and her husband Archie of Paris, Mo., and Hazel Richardson of Hallsville, Mo. ; one brother, Glenn Henry Richardson and his wife Melvonna of Columbia, Mo. ; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Richardson and Ronald Richardson, and one daughter, Patricia Kay Richardson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, October 11, 2004, in the Freeman Chapel. Interment will be at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the Freeman Mortuary from 1-3 p.m. Sunday.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice of  Jefferson City and Mid-Missouri. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

SNYDER
Joseph William Snyder, age 63 of Ulman, died Thursday, October 7, 2004, in Springfield.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 15, 1940, a son of the late Joseph Edward and Marguerite (Jackson) Snyder.
On March 12, 1966, in St. Joseph, Illinois, he was married to Etha Jereen Snyder, who preceded him in death.
Survivor include: three sons, Jesse Snyder of the home, Jason Snyder of Brumley, and Robert Snyder of Osage Beach.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.

THEROFF
Alma M. Theroff, age 88, of Russellville, died Thursday, October 7, 2004, at Capital Region Medical Center in  Jefferson City.
She was born April 21, 1916, in Centertown, a daughter of Ernest and Louise Rohrbach Lehman. She was united in marriage to Walter Theroff on October 14, 1936, in  Jefferson City, and he survives at the home.
She was employed at Tweedies in  Jefferson City for several years and retired from California Manufacturing in California.
Mrs. Theroff was a member of the Russellville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and cooking. She loved being with her family, and her home was always open to family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Norman Theroff of Russellville; one daughter, Darlene Schubert of Russellville; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Richard and Evelyn Lehman of Russellville and Fred Lehman of Mexico; one granddaughter, Mona Porter and husband, Travis of Russellville; two step-grandchildren, Donna Greenslit and husband, Ed of  Jefferson City and Danny Cooley and wife, Laura of Kansas City; two great grandchildren, Jamie and Anna, three step great-grandchildren, Shari, Zachary and Alexis, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Theroff was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Norma Jean Theroff, her son-in-law, David Schubert; one brother, Walter Lehman and one sister, Erma Thomas.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 11, 2004, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville with Rev. Carole Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Enloe Cemetery, Russellville.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2004, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Enloe Cemetery or the charity of the donor's choice.

WAGNER
Henry Ralph Wagner, age 80 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Thursday, October 7, 2004, at Capital Region Medical Center.
Funeral arrangements for Mr. Wagner are incomplete under the direction of the Buescher Memorial Home.

COLE
Louise Cole, age 82, of Eldon, died Thursday, October 28, 2004. She was born March 7, 1922, to George Stark & Etta Houser.
She was married June 22, 1946, to F. Ray Cole.
Survivors include two sons: Gary Cole, Eldon, Mo., and Mark Cole,  Jefferson City; one grandson: Mark Anthony Cole; and three sisters: Lena Flaugher, Eldon, Hazel Inman, California, Mo., and Erma Brines, Warrensburg, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, Louis "Bud" Stark and one sister, Lucille Willis.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sat., Oct. 30, at the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, Mo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sun, at the funeral home, with Rev. Ernie Buscher officiating. Burial in Dooley Cemetery, Eldon.

GERMOND
Marjorie Mullen Germond, 81, died of Alzheimer's Thursday, in her daughter's home in Lohman, Mo.
She was born in Troy, New York, the daughter of Leona Jenkins Mullen and Leo Mullen. Her sister, Joyce Landrigan preceded her in death.
Marjorie married Andrew Todd Germond in 1943, who preceded her in death. Together they founded Germond Insurance in Sun City, Arizona. United in work and in marriage, Marjorie and Andy's legacy of humor, kindness and service to others will live on.
Survivors include three sons and a daughter, Daniel Germond, Edward Germond, Tom Germond and Nancy Germond. She was a loving aunt to Kiera, Audrey, Emily and Andy Germond.
Services will be held in Phoenix, Arizona, her home for 47 years. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

LINDHARDT
Mr. Arlan "Nick" Linhardt, age 50 years, of Henley, Mo., died Friday, October 29, 2004, at St. Marys Health Center.
Funeral arrangements for Mr. Linhardt are incomplete under the direction of the Buescher Memorial Home.

MAASSEN
Kenneth Claude Maassen, 51 years old, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, died Wednesday, October 27, 2004, at his home.
Ken graduated from Linn High School, Linn, Mo., in 1971. He then attended the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Md., and graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in 1975.
Following graduation, Ken was the sports editor for the  Jefferson City News Tribune in  Jefferson City, Mo. He then worked for the Social Security Administration in Kansas City, Mo. For the past 27 years, Ken has been employed at Offutt Air Force Base, Bellevue, Neb., most recently as a military intelligence analyst for the United States Department of Defense. During that time he received his masters degree in geography from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Ken was married in October of 1977 to Jennifer S. Robertson of California, Mo., who survives at the home. He is also survived by one daughter, Stephanie Maassen, of St. Louis, Mo. ; one son, Nicholas Maassen, of Plattsmouth, Neb. ; his father, Elmer Maassen, of Linn, Mo. ; one brother, Mark Maassen, of Kansas City, Mo. ; three sisters and brothers in law, Kathy and Allan Boessen of Troy, Mo., Janice and William Kliethermes of Linn, Mo., Anita and Ruby Pabon of Kansas City, Mo. ; numerous nieces, nephews, plus a host of relatives and friends. Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie C. Maassen on September 7, 2003.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2004, at St. George Church in Linn, Mo., with The Rev. Father I. C. Medina officiating. Interment will be in St. George Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 31, at St. George Church.
Memorials are suggested to St. John the Baptist Catholic School or to the Plattsmouth High School Fitness Center. Local arrangements are under the direction of Morton Funeral Home, Linn, Mo.

WILSON
Harold Mancel Wilson, 57, Stover, died Sunday, November 7, 2004, at his brother's home in Stover.
He is survived by dear friend and companion, Lou; three sons Doug and wife Debbie; Troy and wife Diana; and Benji all of Stover; one brother, Jim and wife, Rosemary Wilson; one sister, Betty Walker and husband Tom; four grandchildren; Christopher, Josh Allen, Kameryn and Kaden.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, at the Stover First Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Stover Cemetery.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover.

STARK
John Stark, age 59, of Eldon, Mo., died Monday, November 8, 2004, in  Jefferson City, Mo.
He graduated from Eldon High School in 1963 and then attended Lincoln University. He was the founder of Stark Construction of Eldon, Missouri.
Survivors include: one daughter & son-in-law, Kimberly & John Gross of Pittsfield, Ill. ; two sons & daughter-in-law, John Jason Stark of Eldon, and Cory & Michelene Stark of Eldon; one granddaughter, Cheyanne Stark; friend & companion Sheran Webb.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10, from 4-8 p.m. at the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, Mo.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, November 11, at 11 a.m. at the Dooley Cemetery in Eldon, Mo.

TIPPIN
Dr. Keener A. Tippin Sr., 71, Columbia, Mo., died Friday, November 5, 2004 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, after an extended illness.
Dr. Tippin was born October 19, 1933, to Eugene and Hester Keener Tippin in San Antonio, Texas . On August 13, 1960, he married Rosie Adell Brown in St. Louis, Mo. She survives of the home.
A graduate of Phyllis Wheatley High School, San Antonio, he attended and graduated from Lincoln University in  Jefferson City, Mo. He was a member of the Blue Tiger football team and received his bachelor's degree in biology (1957) and his master's degree (1960). He also received his ED. D degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia (1973). A lifelong educator, he served as Director of Housing and Assistant Dean of Students at Lincoln until becoming the Assistant Director of Admissions at the University of Missouri. During his 25 year tenure at UMC, he also served as Assistant Vice Provost at the University. After his retirement from MU, Dr. Tippin briefly returned to Lincoln as the interim vice provost for student affairs.
Dr. Tippin designed, developed and directed numerous educational programs, including New Student Orientation, Lincoln University; Mizzou INROADS, Mizzou Alpha Academy, Minority Visitation Program, Higher Education Motivation Program, the Eighth Grade Career Program, Summer Welcome, Four Campus Minority Recruitment Program, Success Through Advanced Residence Training (START) Program, and Mizzou Summer Enrichment Academy, all at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Dr. Tippin was a 50-year member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., where he served in numerous capacities. He served as Sergeant of Arms, Secretary, Vice President and President of the fraternity's Beta Zeta Lambda chapter and a Founding Member and Historian of Xi Epsilon Lambda chapter. He served as Alpha Phi Alpha Area Director for the state of Missouri for 10 years; Alpha Phi Alpha National Education Foundation; Vice Pharaoh for Midwestern Region, Alpha Phi Alpha. He also developed the Alpha Achievers Program.
Survivors include two children, Keener A. II and wife, Sheila, Manhattan, Kan; and Karen Tippin, of the home, a brother, James W. Tippin and his wife, Billie, Leawood, Kan. ; five grandsons, Keener A. Tippin III (Stefon) Brandon and Le Raun Collins, Khalil and Kareem Tippin, all of Manhattan, Kan. ; three sisters-in-law, Ruby Jackson of Antioch, Calif., Ruby Poindexter of St. Louis, Mo. and Geri Tippin of Philadelphia, Pa. and one brother-in-law, H. Jasper Brown and his wife, Mary, of St. Louis, Mo. Dr. Tippin was blessed with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his biological children, surviving Dr. Tippin are the adult children of his heart - his nephew, Henry W. McMillan of Antioch, Calif., Rollin E. Jackson Sr. and his wife, Akesha, of St. Louis; Phillip Rodgers of Baton Rouge, La., Jamauria Evans of St. Louis and Stefan Bradley of Edwardsville, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Eugene Tippin; and a sister, Hester Scott.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., November 12, at Calvary Baptist Church, 606 Ridgeway, Columbia. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, November 11, at Warren Funeral Chapel, 12 E. Ash, Columbia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to an educational scholarship the family has established in his name c/o First National Bank, Columbia, Mo.

ZIEHMER
Eda Ziehmer, 86, California, Mo., passed away Friday, October 29, 2004 at Moniteau Care Center in California, Mo.
Complete funeral arrangements will be announced later by Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, Mo.
