EGGEN
Paul Amos Eggen, 70, of  Jefferson City, died Friday, November 12, 2004, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born on November 22, 1933, in St. Martins, the son of Herman and Lillian Beatrice Carel Eggen. He was married on August 25, 1956, in  Jefferson City to Janet Louise Phillips, who survives at the home. He was a 1952 graduate of St. Peter High School.
Mr. Eggen was the last manager of Sav-Mor Grocery, where he was employed for 18 years. He later was employed for 21 years as a salesman with Butternut Bakery. He was a U. S. Army veteran serving from 1955 to 1957. He was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral; American Legion Post 5; and Knights of Columbus.
Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerome T. and Cindy Eggen, Centertown; and Jerold L. and Maureen Eggen, St. Thomas; five grandchildren, Jennifer Brunner; Michele Eggen; Joseph Eggen; David Eggen; and Lucas Eggen; one great-grandson, Christopher Brunner; one brother, Alfred Eggen,  Jefferson City; two sisters, Martha Haller, Freeburg; and Dorothy Simone, Kansas City, Mo. ; and one step-sister, Virginia Guerdan, St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Clarence Eggen; and one step-brother, Cecil Bernskoetter.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 15, 2004, at St. Joseph Cathedral with the Rev. Robert A. Kurwicki officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2004, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, 3210 N. Ten Mile Drive,  Jefferson City, MO 65109, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of  Jefferson City & Mid-Missouri, 601 E. High Street,  Jefferson City, MO 65101.

RANDEL
Mr. Loran G. Randel, age 96 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Friday, November 12, 2004, at his home.
Funeral arrangements under the direction of Freeman Mortuary are incomplete and will be announced at a later time.

SEAMSTER
Esther Louisa Seamster, age 92, of Queen City, Mo., died Friday, November 12, 2004, at the Schuyler County Nursing Home in Queen City, Mo.
Survivors include three daughters, Faye Turner of Windsor, Mo., Linda Gordy of Arbela, Mo., and Betty Thompson of Macon, Mo. ; one son, Robert Seamster of Queen City, Mo. ; one sister; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 14 at St. John's Lutheran Church near Queen City, Mo. Burial will be in Campground Cemetery near Downing, Mo. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dooley's Funeral Home, Queen City, Mo.

WIBBERG
Mr. Albert P. Wibberg, age 79 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Thursday, November 11, 2004, at his home.
Mr. Wibberg was born August 12, 1925, at Frankenstein, Mo., the son of Henry and Anna Gentges Wibberg, both deceased. He was married on September 26, 1950, at Taos, Mo. to Rosemary Kraus, who survives at the home.
A life long resident of the  Jefferson City area, Mr. Wibberg graduated from Frankenstein Schools. He served in the United States Navy during World War II.
He was employed as a field auditor and supervisor with the Missouri Division of Employment Security for 31 years until his retirement in 1986. He was a member and communion minister at St. Francis Xavier Church; a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie 2693; a member of the American Legion, Roscoe Enloe Post 5.
Mr. Wibberg enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and was an active 4-H leader for 15 years. He loved and enjoyed all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Other survivors include: five daughters, Marilyn Holtmeyer and her husband, Joe of  Jefferson City, Mo., Margaret Forck and her husband, Chris, of  Jefferson City, Mo., Rita Schwartze and her husband, Dan, of Vienna, Mo., Donna Sandbothe and her husband, Doug, of  Jefferson City, Mo., and Teresa Kauffman and her husband, Keith, of Summer Shade, Kentucky; two sons, Bob Wibberg and his wife, Kathy, of  Jefferson City, Mo. and Bernie Wibberg and his wife, Tina, of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; two sisters, Angeline Bennett and her husband, Steve, of St. Charles, Mo. and Catherine Wibberg of Linn, Mo; one sister in law, Betty Wibberg of Willis, Texas ; one brother, August Wibberg and his wife, Ann of Linn, Mo. ; 17 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Shannon Forck and three brothers, Anthony Wibberg, Alphonse Wibberg, and Christopher Wibberg and one sister, Elizabeth Wibberg.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 15, 2004, at St. Francis Xavier Church with the Reverend David Maher officiating. Graveside services and interment with military honors will be conducted at the St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Freeman Mortuary from 2:00 until 4:30 p.m. Sunday with a prayer service to be conducted at 4:30 p.m. in the Freeman Chapel. Friends may also call at the St. Francis Xavier Church from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. Monday.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the St. Francis Xavier Church or the Community Hospice of America.

DORSEY
Mrs. Lillian Irene Dorsey, age 82 years, of Tebbetts, Mo., died Monday, November 15, 2004, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born September 10, 1922, at New Bloomfield, Mo., the daughter of Alonzo and Lilly Bryan Boyer. She was married Oct-ober 7, 1943, at  Jefferson City, Mo., to Frank Joseph Dorsey, who preceded her in death on May 7, 1998.
She had attended the Center School in New Bloomfield, Mo., and was a graduate of the New Bloomfield High School. She was a member of the Little Dixie Christian Church in New Bloomfield, Mo.
Mrs. Dorsey had been employed at Oberman's Manufacturing Co., and also had worked for the Missouri State Department of Revenue in the Income Tax Division for 15 years.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Dale Dorsey and his wife, Brenda, of Tebbetts, Mo., and Larry Joseph Dorsey and his wife, Patty, of Warsaw, Mo., three grandchildren, Brian Dorsey, Shelly Nilges, and Lori Bremer, four great grandchildren, Brandon Bremer, Justin Nilges, Kiersten Nilges and Colten Nilges, and one sister, Ruth Straw of New Bloomfield, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at the Buescher Memorial Home, Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph Skiles officiating. Interment will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at the Buescher Memorial Home, Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Little Dixie Christian Church at New Bloomfield, Mo. Arrangements are under the direction of the Buescher Memorial Home.

HADER
Jesse Lee Hader, age 67, of Florissant, Mo., died November 14, 2004.
He was born September 6, 1937, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Jesse H. Hader and Esta (Williams) Hader.
Mr. Hader was raised in Mt. Herman area, making the St. Louis are his home after graduating high school. He was a retired electrician from McDonnell Douglas. He enjoyed crafts. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Also a Veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by one sister: Rosemary Long of Pleasant Hill, Mo. ; two brothers: Raymond Hader of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Robert W. Hader of Kaiser, Mo. ; several nieces and nephews, cousins, one aunt & one uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 9 - 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2004, at the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, Mo.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 17, at the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, with Rev. Jay Quinn officiating. Burial in Allen Cemetery, Olean, Mo.

HALPIN
Florence Bernice Halpin, age 96, of Tipton, Mo., died Saturday, November 13, 2004, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born November 6, 1908, in Gladbrook, Iowa, the daughter of William & Carrie Bick Koster. She married John R. Halpin on October 18, 1941. Mr. Halpin died November 11, 1987.
She is survived by one daughter, Dianne S. Allison, and one grandson, Thomas Allison, both of Tipton.
Visitation will be from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Meisenheimer Funeral Home, Tipton, on Saturday, November 20.
Funeral services will be at Gladbrook Chapel, United Methodist Church, Gladbrook, Iowa, on November 23, 2004.

HOBBS
Daniel Earl Hobbs, 67, of  Jefferson City, died Sunday, November 14, 2004, in Wichita, Kansas.
He was born May 6, 1937, in Pierce City, Missouri, a son of Daniel Frencha and Lela Mae Bartlett Hobbs. He was a graduate of Kansas City Metropolitan Junior College. He was married November 2, 1999, in  Jefferson City to Jeannette Baker, who survives at the home.
Earl worked for the Missouri Division of Employment Security from 1967, until his retirement in 2002, and had previously worked for the Santa Fe Railroad. He had served in the Kansas National Guard, attaining the rank of Second Lieutenant. He was a member of the Dix Road Church of Christ in  Jefferson City.
Other survivors include one daughter, Linda Barnard of  Jefferson City; one son, Jim Hobbs and wife, Beth, of  Jefferson City; one stepson, Dr. Bo Baker and wife, Conni, of Iola, Kansas; two sisters: Lorene Nolen of Mountainburg, Arkansas; Frances Sherry of Overland Park, Kansas; and six grandchildren: Malinda Reed and husband, Ryan; Daniel Hobbs; Zachary Hobbs; Shannon Barnard; Kelsey Barnard; and Michael Barnard. He was preceded in death by one sister: Doris Farwell.
Friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors  Jefferson City Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 18, 2004, at the Houser Millard Funeral Directors  Jefferson City Chapel with Brent Newton officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Brain Injury Association of America, 8201 Greensboro Drive, Suite 611, McLean, Virginia, 22102. Arrangements are under the direction of HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors, 2613 W. Main St., 636-3838.

McMURTREY
Dale Oren McMurtrey, age 66, of Crocker, died November 13, 2004, in Osage Beach.
He was born July 24, 1938, to Clyde and Bernice McMurtrey. He was married February 2, 1957, at Crocker to Judith Jones.
He is survived by his wife: Judy McMurtrey of Crocker; mother-in-law: Edna Jones, Crocker; one son: Dennis McMurtrey, Crocker, one daughter & son-in-law: Debbie & Cecil Grisham, Crocker; one daughter-in-law & son-in-law: Pam & Charley Tingle, Crocker; one daughter-in-law: Kathy McMurtrey, Little Rock, Ark.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 16, in the Long Funeral Home, Crocker.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, in the Crocker Presbyterian Church, Crocker.

MOORE
Mrs. Helen A. Moore, age 88 years, died Saturday, November 13, 2004, at the Capital Region Medical Center.
Mrs. Moore was born January 23, 1916 in Jasper County, Mo., the daughter of Samuel and Stella Montgomery Harnden, both deceased. She was married to Forest "Frosty" Moore, who preceded her in death on February 10, 1989.
Mrs. Moore was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carterville, Mo. for over 50 years. She was a beautician for most of her life.
Survivors include: one daughter, Gertrude Jeffries and her husband, the Reverend Gerald Jeffries of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; one granddaughter, Gina Smith and her husband, the Reverend Kim Smith of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; two great grandchildren, Benjamin and Rebecca Smith and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2004, at the First Baptist Church of Carterville, Mo., with the Reverend Gerald Jeffries and the Reverend Kim Smith officiating. Interment will be at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery at Joplin, Mo.
Visitation will be at the Simpson Funeral Home, Webb City, Mo. from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church of Carterville, Mo. or the Missouri Baptist Childrens Home. Local arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

PETERSON
William B. Peterson, 93, of Fulton, died Saturday, November 13, 2004, at the Fulton Nursing & Rehab in Fulton.
He was born Nov. 6, 1911, in Esterville, Iowa, the son of the late Josva and Else (Thomsen) Peterson. On Dec. 25, 1936, he married Jane Miller in Ames, Iowa. She preceded him in death on March 20, 1996.
Survivors include: one daughter, Linda Houchins, Fulton; two sons, John Peterson, state of Florida and James Peterson, state of Iowa; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; one sister, Esther Loe of Esterville, Iowa.
His body was donated for research by his request. Private memorial service will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Debo Funeral Home in Fulton.

PUTNAM
Fern Putnam, 96, California, Mo., passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at California Care Center in California, Mo.
Complete funeral arrangements will be announced later by Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, Mo.
