GERLT
Charles Christopher Gerlt, 69, of Tipton, passed away Friday, December 24, 2004 at his home.
He was born February 24, 1935 at Glensted in Morgan County, Mo., the son of Walter Christopher David and Sally Elizabeth Woolery Gerlt.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Gerlt of the home; one son, Charles Steven Gerlt of California; two brothers and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Glensted United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Glensted Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

HANRAHAN
Dorothy "Dot" Hanrahan, age 71, of Laurie, passed away Monday, December 27, 2004, at the Laurie Care Center.
Survivors include: her husband, Gene, of the home; two sisters, Mary Woolery of Ionia, Mo., and Geraldine Furth of Napa, California; five children, Lybbie Friedly of Cameron, Mo., Rick Hanrahan of St. James, Mo., Lynda Middeke of St. Charles, Mo., Lucy Argo of Sedalia, Mo., and Leah Ross of the Azores Island; 20 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, December 31, at the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Laurie. Interment will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

LOCK
Edward H. Lock, age 85, of Loose Creek, Mo., died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at his residence.
He was born March 28, 1919, in Loose Creek, Mo., the son of Henry and Hattie (Helmers) Locks, both deceased. He was married September 1, 1956 in Linn, Mo. to Alice Ruettgers, who survives at the home.
Mr. Lock, a lifelong Loose Creek resident attended the Immaculate Conception School. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was the co-owner and operator of the Locks Feed Mill in Loose Creek for over 50 years, prior to his retirement.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, Loose Creek, Mo., the Knights of Columbus, the V. F. W., the American Legion, and the Osage County Historical Society.
In addition to his wife, Alice, other survivors include: one son, Christopher Lock of Loose Creek, Mo., three daughters, Teresa and husband, Arnold Rezac, of Eureka, Mo., Julie Lock of the home, and Emily and husband, Tim Aughtman, of Loose Creek, Mo. ; four grandchildren, Michael Rezac, Emily Rezac, Zachary Aughtman and Mallory Aughtman; one brother, Howard Lock of Loose Creek, Mo., and one sister, Marian Schmitz of Loose Creek, Mo.
Visitation will be from 4 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at Morton Funeral Home, Linn, Mo. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Loose Creek, Mo. with the Rev. Father Joseph Corel as the Celebrant. Interment with military honors will follow at the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Immaculate Conception Church, Loose Creek, Mo. or to Missouri River Hospice, or to Osage County Special Services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morton Funeral Home, Linn, Mo.

MARSHALL
Arlene Thelma Marshall, 73, of Dixon, died Sunday, December 12, 2004, at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinic, Columbia.
Survivors include: one son: Ronald Marshall, Rolla; two daughters; Cynthia Veach, Dixon, and Wendy Conklin, Roach; one brother; Douglas Sedgwick, Orlando, Fla. ; 13 grandchildren, Jonas, Taylor, Rylee and Zachary Marshall, Nicholas and Garrett Marshall, Heather Marshall, Samantha Robinette, Amanda Norton, Jonathan Veach, Jayce Conklin, Jason Veach, and Jodi Hollandsworth; eight great grandchildren: Brook and Grant Robinette, Lacey Norton, Chase, Kelsi, Kristen and Clark Hollandsworth.
Memorial service will be 7 p.m. Thursday, December 30, in the Dixon Chapel of Birmingham Martin Funeral Homes.

McCLEARY
Mr. Robert Ray "Bob" McCleary, age 58, of Linn, died Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born September 14, 1946, in  Jefferson City, Mo., a son of the late Ray and Rhenelda Mae Gelven McCleary. He was married May 30, 1981, in Linn, Mo., to Mary Ellen Witte, who survives at the home.
Bob had been a Chief Deputy of Gasconade County, former Chief of Police in Linn, a Special Security Office Guard for the Governor and owner/operator of Redhorse Video.
He was a member of the St. John's United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife: Mary Ellen Witte McCleary of the home; his former wife: Diann Scheulen of Linn; two sons: Robert Ray "Robb" McCleary and Mitchell Robert McCleary, both of the home; two daughters: Michele Ann Petty of Memphis, Tenn. and Monica Rae McCleary of Pershing, Mo. ; one sister: Rhonda Mae Phillips of Linn, Mo. ; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; father & mother-in-law: Howard and Maxine White of Rhineland, Mo., and many friends.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 31, 2004, at Morton Funeral Home in Linn with Rev. Tony Townley officiating. Burial will be in Linn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, at Morton Funeral Home in Linn.
Memorials are suggested to the Robb and Mitchell McCleary Educational Fund, c/o Linn State Bank.

OTTO
Albert Dominicus Otto, 89, of  Jefferson City, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born on Oct. 27, 1915 in St. Anthony, Mo., the son of Joseph J. and Anna Angeline Rehagen Otto. He was married on Nov. 20, 1941 in Dixon, Mo., to Minnie Ellen Helton who died on Aug. 26, 1993. He was married on July 21, 1994 in  Jefferson City to Liguora Rosella Boillot who survives at the home.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of WW-II, serving in the South Pacific with the 207th Ordinance Company as an automotive inspector. He was awarded two bronze service stars in the campaign of New Guinea Bismark Archipelago.
Following his discharge from the Army, he worked as an automotive mechanic in Dixon. He served with the National Guard from 1947 to 1949. He was chief inspector with the maintenance division of the Civil Service at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., until he retired in 1973. He was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral where he served as an usher for many years.
Other survivors include two sons and their wives, Dennis and Katie Otto, Carmel, Ind. ; and Dwain and Wilma Otto, Stoutland, Mo. ; and one daughter and her husband, Mary Ann and Bobby Mayo, Phoenix, Ariz. ; two stepsons, Jack Boillot, Springfield, Mo. ; and Bill Boillot and his wife, Margaret, Abilene, Kansas; one step-daughter and her husband, Judy and Ken Holzem, Linn; seven grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Otto; three sisters, Tillie Alexander; Hattie Otto; and Rosaline Otto; and two half-brothers, John Otto and Henry Otto.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, at St. Joseph Cathedral with the Rev. Thomas E. McGrath officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Cathedral, 2305 W. Main Street,  Jefferson City, MO 65109; or to Masses.

REED
Raymond D. Reed, 63, of Lawrence, Kansas, died Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include: his wife, Phyllis, of the home; two daughters, Kimberly Turner, of Lawrence, and Michelle Spurling, of Eudora; two brothers, Delbert Reed Jr., of Lawrence, and George Reed, of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo. ; and two granddaughters.
The family will greet friends Wednesday, December 29, from 6:30-8 p.m. at Warren McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th St., Lawrence, Kansas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

SANDERS
Mrs. Nadine G. Sanders, age 83 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Monday, December 27, 2004, at the  Jefferson City Manor Nursing Center.
Mrs. Sanders was born March 25, 1921 at Eugene, Mo., the daughter of Paul and Fannie Blackburn Farris, both deceased. She was married on October 1, 1938 in  Jefferson City, Mo. to Carl L. Sanders, who preceded her in death on February 17, 1992.
A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, Mrs. Sanders was a 1938 graduate of  Jefferson City High School. She was employed by the Missouri Highway Dept. for 18 years prior to her retirement in 1983.
After retirement, she enjoyed crocheting many beautiful pieces of hand work that she shared with her family. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Christian faith.
Survivors include: one daughter, Gloria Albin and her husband Ron of California, Mo. ; three sons, Carl J. Sanders and his wife LaVerne of  Jefferson City, Mo., Gary Sanders and his wife Melinda of  Jefferson City, Mo., and Barry Sanders and his wife Binky of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; five grandchildren, Stephanie Green, Amy Meyer, Ashley Holtmeyer, Lindsay Sanders, and Kelsey Sanders; four great grandchildren, McKenzie Green, Ally Green, Job Meyer and Bryson Drew Holtmeyer. She was preceded in death by one brother, Buddy Farris.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2004, in the Freeman Chapel. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Freeman Mortuary from 10-11 a.m. Thursday.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Disease and Related Disorders Assn.

SPENCER
Mrs. Eunice Virginia Spencer, age 91 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at her home.
Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Spencer are incomplete under the direction of the Buescher Memorial Home.

SUMMERS
John William Summers, 73, of Holts Summit, Mo., died Monday, December 27, 2004.
He was born March 21, 1931 to George & Reba Summers.
He was married to Shirley Jean Comstock who preceded him in death and was later married to Anna Louise Womack who also preceded him in death.
Survivors include three sons, Glen Summers, New Bloomfield, Jeffrey Summers, Mokane, Robert Scott,  Jefferson City; one daughter, Kim Wells, Holts Summit; one brother, four sisters; many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Shirley Wilson & Dollie Scott and one son, Raymond Scott.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Fri., Dec. 31, at Hillcrest Cemetery, Fulton, with Rev. Don Munford officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Fri., Dec. 31, at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton.

SWANIGAN
Janelle Swanigan, age 34, of Camdenton, Mo., died Monday, December 27, 2004, at her home.
Survivors include her mother, Katherine Swanigan of Tunas, Mo. ; one sister, JoNetta Weaver of Columbia; two brothers, Rand Swanigan and Russ Swanigan, both of  Jefferson City; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2004, at New Home Baptist Church, Camdenton with Rev. Glen Snyder officiating.
Visitation will be from 7 9 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at Allee-Holeman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Plad Cemetery, Plad, Mo.
Memorial contributions suggested to New Home Baptist Church or Plad Cemetery. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.

WOEHR
Margaret Etillia Woehr, 89, of Wardsville, died Friday, December 24, 2004, at Villa Marie Skilled Care.
She was born on March 8, 1915, in Trenton, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Mary Baer Haas. She was married on April 26, 1941, in St. John, Mo. to Sylvester F. Woehr, who died on September 30, 1991.
A homemaker, Mrs. Woehr was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville; Married Ladies Sodality; and the Over-fifty Club.
Survivors include two brothers, William Haas, Caseyville, Ill. ; John Haas, Trenton, Ill. ; one sister, Loretta Holubek, Trenton, Ill. ; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Haas and Art Haas; and two sisters, Flordina Kern and Virginia Haas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville, with the Rev. Gregory C. Meystrik officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Wardsville.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 6418 Route W,  Jefferson City, MO 65101. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home (573/893-5251) is in charge of arrangements.
