BELL
Clarence Raymond Bell, age 82, of Sunrise Beach, died Sunday, December 26. He was born June 30, 1922, in St. Louis, Mo.
He is survived by his wife: Gloria R. Bell, of the home; two daughters: Wanda L. Davis of St. Peters and Linda R. Walker of Wright City; one brother: Frank W. Bell of Sappington; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, December 30, at the West Lake Christian Church in Laurie and at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
The family will receive friends from 4-6:30 p.m. Thursday, at the church and from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill. Entombment will be in Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

McCLEARY
Mr. Robert Ray "Bob" McCleary, age 58, of Linn, died Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born September 14, 1946, in  Jefferson City, Mo., a son of the late Ray and Rhenelda Mae Gelven McCleary. He was married May 30, 1981, in Linn, Mo., to Mary Ellen Witte, who survives at the home.
Bob had been a Chief Deputy of Gasconade County, former Chief of Police in Linn, a Special Security Office Guard for the Governor and owner/operator of Redhorse Video.
He was a member of the St. John's United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife: Mary Ellen Witte McCleary of the home; his former wife: Diann Scheulen of Linn; two sons: Robert Ray "Robb" McCleary and Mitchell Robert McCleary, both of the home; two daughters: Michele Ann Petty of Memphis, Tenn. and Monica Rae McCleary of Pershing, Mo. ; one sister: Rhonda Mae Phillips of Linn, Mo. ; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; father & mother-in-law: Howard and Maxine White of Rhineland, Mo., and many friends.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 31, 2004, at Morton Funeral Home in Linn with Rev. Tony Townley officiating. Burial will be in Linn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, at Morton Funeral Home in Linn.
Memorials are suggested to the Robb and Mitchell McCleary Educational Fund, c/o Linn State Bank.

OTTO
Albert Dominicus Otto, 89, of  Jefferson City, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born on Oct. 27, 1915 in St. Anthony, Mo., the son of Joseph J. and Anna Angeline Rehagen Otto. He was married on Nov. 20, 1941 in Dixon, Mo., to Minnie Ellen Helton who died on Aug. 26, 1993. He was married on July 21, 1994 in  Jefferson City to Liguora Rosella Boillot who survives at the home.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of WW-II, serving in the South Pacific with the 207th Ordinance Company as an automotive inspector. He was awarded two bronze service stars in the campaign of New Guinea Bismark Archipelago.
Following his discharge from the Army, he worked as an automotive mechanic in Dixon. He served with the National Guard from 1947 to 1949. He was chief inspector with the maintenance division of the Civil Service at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., until he retired in 1973. He was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral where he served as an usher for many years.
Other survivors include two sons and their wives, Dennis and Katie Otto, Carmel, Ind. ; and Dwain and Wilma Otto, Stoutland, Mo. ; and one daughter and her husband, Mary Ann and Bobby Mayo, Phoenix, Ariz. ; two stepsons, Jack Boillot, Springfield, Mo. ; and Bill Boillot and his wife, Margaret, Abilene, Kansas; one step-daughter and her husband, Judy and Ken Holzem, Linn; seven grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Otto; three sisters, Tillie Alexander; Hattie Otto; and Rosaline Otto; and two half-brothers, John Otto and Henry Otto.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, at St. Joseph Cathedral with the Rev. Thomas E. McGrath officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Cathedral, 2305 W. Main Street,  Jefferson City, MO 65109; or to Masses.

REED
Raymond D. Reed, 63, of Lawrence, Kansas, died Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include: his wife, Phyllis, of the home; two daughters, Kimberly Turner, of Lawrence, and Michelle Spurling, of Eudora; two brothers, Delbert Reed Jr., of Lawrence, and George Reed, of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo. ; and two granddaughters.
The family will greet friends Wednesday, December 29, from 6:30-8 p.m. at Warren McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th St., Lawrence, Kansas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

SANDERS
Mrs. Nadine G. Sanders, age 83 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Monday, December 27, 2004, at the  Jefferson City Manor Nursing Center.
Mrs. Sanders was born March 25, 1921 at Eugene, Mo., the daughter of Paul and Fannie Blackburn Farris, both deceased. She was married on October 1, 1938 in  Jefferson City, Mo. to Carl L. Sanders, who preceded her in death on February 17, 1992.
A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, Mrs. Sanders was a 1938 graduate of  Jefferson City High School. She was employed by the Missouri Highway Dept. for 18 years prior to her retirement in 1983.
After retirement, she enjoyed crocheting many beautiful pieces of hand work that she shared with her family. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Christian faith.
Survivors include: one daughter, Gloria Albin and her husband Ron of California, Mo. ; three sons, Carl J. Sanders and his wife LaVerne of  Jefferson City, Mo., Gary Sanders and his wife Melinda of  Jefferson City, Mo., and Barry Sanders and his wife Binky of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; five grandchildren, Stephanie Green, Amy Meyer, Ashley Holtmeyer, Lindsay Sanders, and Kelsey Sanders; four great grandchildren, McKenzie Green, Ally Green, Job Meyer and Bryson Drew Holtmeyer. She was preceded in death by one brother, Buddy Farris.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2004, in the Freeman Chapel. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Freeman Mortuary from 10-11 a.m. Thursday.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Disease and Related Disorders Assn. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

SPENCER
Mrs. Eunice Virginia Spencer, age 91 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at her home.
Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Spencer are incomplete under the direction of the Buescher Memorial Home.

SWANIGAN
Janelle Swanigan, age 34, of Camdenton, Mo., died Monday, December 27, 2004, at her home.
Survivors include her mother, Katherine Swanigan of Tunas, Mo. ; one sister, JoNetta Weaver of Columbia; two brothers, Rand Swanigan and Russ Swanigan, both of  Jefferson City; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2004, at New Home Baptist Church, Camdenton with Rev. Glen Snyder officiating.
Visitation will be from 7 9 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at Allee-Holeman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Plad Cemetery, Plad, Mo.
Memorial contributions suggested to New Home Baptist Church or Plad Cemetery. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.

FORCK
Wilma Lou Forck, age 56, died Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at her home in Colfax.
Wilma was born on October 11, 1948, in Henley, Missouri, the daughter of Billie (Miller) and John Shaffrin. On August 7, 1965, she was united in marriage to Jerry Forck in  Jefferson City, Missouri.
She moved with her family to Colfax in 1975. Wilma worked as a tax preparer and was self-employed for 32 years.
Wilma is survived by a daughter, Michelle Forck of Newton; four sons, Timothy of Colfax, Paul and his wife, Tina, of Colfax, Patrick and his wife, Paula, of Colfax and Matthew and his wife, Chris, of Newton; 10 grandchildren, a sister, Karen Schnettgoecke of O'Fallon, Missouri and two brothers, John Schaffrin also of O'Fallon and Mark Schaffrin of Wright City, Missouri. Preceding Wilma in death were her parents and her husband on October 4, 2003.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 3, at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Interment will follow at McKeever Cemetery.
Visitation for Wilma will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2004, at the funeral home from noon until 8:00 p.m.
The family will greet friends from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. There will be a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
Those wishing to give memorials may designate them to the Wilma L. Forck Memorial Fund.

KAUFFMAN
William James Kauffman, 84, of  Jefferson City, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born on March 26, 1920 in  Jefferson City, the son of Leo J. Kauffman and Margaret Hentges Kauffman. He was married on May 4, 1943 in Folk to Leona Bernadine Rademann who died on March 17, 1991.
He was married on June 5, 1992 in  Jefferson City to Helen M. Brondel Eggen who survives at the home. He was a graduate of St. Martin Catholic School.
Mr. Kauffman was a farmer in Cole county for many years and also a musician with local country bands. He became a real estate broker and investor owning JC Realty Company and Kauffman Investment Properties until his retirement in 1995.
He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church, St. Peter Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2693, Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society, and St. Martin Fifty-plus Club. Other survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law, Thomas A. "Tom" Kauffman, Bonnots Mill, Richard L. "Dick" and Ronda Kauffman,  Jefferson City, and Kenneth W. "Ken" Kauffman,  Jefferson City; one daughter and son-in-law, Harriet Kauffman Martin, and Van Martin, Miami, Fla. ; five step-daughters and husbands, Mary Beth and Bill Morff, Wildwood, Mo., LaVonne and Steve Kaiser, Houston, Texas , Jeanette and Bill Muller, and Elaine and David DeWitt, all of  Jefferson City, and Gloria and Bob Caine, Richland, Wash. ; 21 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Francis Kauffman; and one sister, Angeline Kauffman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. James M. Smith officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, 3210 N. Ten Mile Drive,  Jefferson City, MO 65109 (893-5251) with the Rosary recited at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church, 216 Broadway,  Jefferson City, MO 65101; or St. Martin Catholic Church, 7148 St. Martins Ave.,  Jefferson City, MO 65109.

SCOTT
Mandy N. Scott, 85, of Holts Summit, died Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at her home.
She was born April 5, 1919, in Boone County, Missouri, a daughter of Dewey V. and Alma (Burnett) Major. She attended  Jefferson City High School. On December 17, 1938, she was married in  Jefferson City, to Carl J. "Scotty" Scott, who survives at the home.
She and her husband owned and operated the Hillcrest Service Station and Blue Skies Skating Rink in Holts Summit for 35 years.
She was a member of the Union Hill Baptist Church and was a charter member of the Holts Summit Civic Association. Mrs. Scott loved to go fishing.
She is also survived by a daughter: Joyce Hartley of Holts Summit; a son: Jerel Scott and his wife Gayla of  Jefferson City; a sister: Katheryn Cordes and her husband Lloyd of  Jefferson City; five grandchildren: Carla Schinderling and her husband Jon of Quincy, Illinois, Abbie Scott and Willie Pritchett of  Jefferson City, Ross Hartley and his wife Aimee of  Jefferson City, Jason and Brice McDonald both of  Jefferson City; and four great-grandchildren: Madelynn & Caleb Schinderling of Quincy, Illinois and Taryn & William Pritchett of  Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors  Jefferson City Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 5, 2005, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors  Jefferson City Chapel, with Rev. Dale Norfolk and Rev. Frank Whitney officiating. Interment will follow in the Hawthorn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Community Hospices of America or the Union Hill Baptist Church Building Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of the HOUSERMILLARD Funeral Directors  Jefferson City Chapel, 2613 West Main Street; 636-3838.

GAUMNITZ
Mrs. Marian R. Gaumnitz, age 78 years, a former  Jefferson City resident, died Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at the John Knox Retirement Center, Lees Summit, Mo.
Mrs. Gaumnitz was born January 30, 1927, at LeMars, Iowa, the daughter of Ted and Rose Seiler Fischer, both deceased. She was married on June 14, 1951, at Merrill, Iowa to Arnold H. Gaumnitz, who survives.
Mrs. Gaumnitz graduated from Westmar College, LeMars, Iowa with a degree in education. A resident of the  Jefferson City area during the 1990's, Mrs. Gaumnitz taught kindergarten for 30 years in Iowa.
Survivors include: two sons, Robert Gaumnitz and his wife, Julie of Herrin, Illinois and Michael Gaumnitz and his wife, Jennifer of Lenexa, Kansas; one daughter, Rebecca Neve and her husband, Douglas of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; one brother, Don Fischer of LeMars, Iowa; five grandchildren: Brian Neve, Kristen Neve, Grace Gaumnitz, John Gaumnitz, and Kaylee Gaumnitz.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2005, in the Freeman Chapel with Pastor Jim Walker officiating. Interment will be at Hickory Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Southridge Baptist Church of  Jefferson City, Mo. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
