FIELDS
Carlos Dwane Fields, 52, Versailles, died Aug. 17, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born
Sept. 23, 1946, in Ulman, a son of Thomas and Icel Stamper Fields. He was married
Oct. 30, 1963, in Versailles to Marian E. Comstock, who survives at the home.
He worked at the Primo Pants Factory in Versailles for several years. He also worked at Fasco in Eldon, Cargill Rock Island Breeder Farm in Barnett, and WestArk Inc. in Versailles. He was a Baptist.
Other survivors include: two sons, Dale Fields and Terry Fields, both of Versailles; six brothers, Charles Fields, Concordia, Bob Fields and Bill Fields, both of Stover, Jerry Fields, Greenville, Ill., Don Fields, Glensted, and Gail Fields, Versailles; five sisters, Nete Fretueg, Van Buren, Pam Capps, Stover, Lois Arnold, Syracuse, Wanda Hopper, Portageville, and Linda Parrish, Sedalia; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Todd Forman will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
GRESHAM
Everett E. Gresham, 90, Camdenton, died Aug. 17, 1999, at Windsor Estates.
He was born
Nov. 12, 1908, in North Zulch, Texas, a son of James E. and Della B. Rudolph Gresham. He was married
June 27, 1959, to Nora Moody, who died Jan. 19, 1984.
He lived in Camdenton for the past 25 years. He worked as a well driller in the oil fields for more than 40 years.
He was a Baptist.
Survivors include one stepdaughter, Bea Britton, state of Texas.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Rick Ginnings will officiate. Burial will be in Dale Blair Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Friday.
MOORE
Hulda Arietta Moore, 79, Versailles, died Aug. 18, 1999, at Golden Age Living Center, Stover.
She was born
Feb. 18, 1920, in St. Joseph, a daughter of August and Rosella Hutchison Marriott. She was married
Dec. 17, 1969, in Columbia, to Cecil A. Moore, who died April 25, 1991.
She was a waitress and operated a restaurant in Kansas City for several years.
She then lived in Eldon and Sedalia before moving to Versailles.
She is survived by one sister, Helen Viscoli, Versailles.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Versailles Cemetery. James Henderson will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Versailles.
HOLLAND
Harold Loyd Holland, 73, New Bloomfield, died Aug. 19, 1999, at his home.
He was born
Aug. 31, 1925, in Jefferson City, a son of George T. and Helen Anna Klimas Holland. He was married
May 8, 1948, in Jefferson City, to Pauline Bratton, who survives at the home.
An Army veteran, he was employed at Missouri Power and Light/AmerenUE until his retirement in 1983. He was a member of the IBEW Union, Association of Retired Missouri State Employees and New Bloomfield Christian Church.
He was a past city councilman in New Bloomfield.
Other survivors include: two sons, Gary Wayne Holland, Holts Summit, and Michael Loyd Holland, New Bloomfield; two sisters, Helen Rearick, Rocky Mount, and Florence Lowery, Springdale, Ark.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Debo Funeral Home, Holts Summit. The Rev. Roger Obermeier will officiate. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, New Bloomfield.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today and from 12:30-2 p.m. Saturday.
SCOTT
Glenn Edward Scott, 79, Sacramento, Calif., formerly of Jefferson City, died Aug. 15, 1999, in Sacramento.
He was born
Dec. 6, 1919, in Belleville, Kan. He was married
Dec. 26, 1964, to Kay Scott, who survives at the home.
He graduated to the College of Emporia in 1941 with degrees in music and mathematics. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was on the faculty of the Columbus Boychoir School of Princeton, N.J. He later headed the public affairs department of the Michigan State Chamber of Commerce.
For 12 years, he lived in Jefferson City and was executive of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce. He was president of the board of trustees of Memorial Community Hospital in 1972-1973.
He moved to Sacramento in 1979. He was an associate of Century 21-All Professionals. He was a member of the Sacramento Association of Realtors, Capital City Lodge 499, Scottish Rite, Shrine and Fremont Presbyterian Church.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Margaret Ann Farmer, Dayton, Ohio, and Lesley Scott-Gillilan, Adrian, Mich.; two sons, Glenn Scott Jr., Sharon Mass., and Jon Scott, Sacramento.
One son, Eric Scott, died in October 1998.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Fremont Presbyterian Church. The remains were cremated.
Arrangements are under the direction of Russ Monroe's Village Chapel, Fair Oaks, Calif.

ATKINSON
Maude M. Atkinson, 89, Osage Beach, died Aug. 19, 1999, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital.
She was born
April 11, 1910, in Briceville, Tenn., a daughter of Sheldon H. and Sarah Jane VanDergriff Lovely. She was married
Aug. 3, 1927, in Chicago, to Jay B. Atkinson, who died April 6, 1992.
A homemaker, she was a Methodist.
Survivors include: one son, Jay Atkinson, Rocky Mount; one daughter, Constance J. Snyder, Riverside, Calif.; and one granddaughter.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, Fulton.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.
NOVICK
Carrie Margarette Novick, 88, Jefferson City, died Aug. 20, 1999, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center.
She was born
Nov. 14, 1910, in Jefferson City, a daughter of William J. and Anna Antonitte Kauffmann Bemboom. She was married
Oct. 5, 1950, in Harrison, Ark., to Alexander Novick, who died Nov. 16, 1964.
A homemaker, she was a graduate of St. Peter High School. She retired after more than 30 years of employment with International Shoe Factory.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, St. Ann's Sodality and the Legion of Mary.
Survivors include: one brother, William Bemboom, Bennett Springs; and one sister, Mary Ann Bemboom, Jefferson City.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church. The Rev. Greg Higley will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Buescher Memorial Home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
ROST
Margaret Ann Rost, 76, Morrison, died Aug. 19, 1999, at Frene Valley Geriatric and Rehabilitation Center, Hermann.
She was born
July 11, 1923, in Morrison, a daughter of John W. and Sophie H. Boss Thuli. She was married
Feb. 20, 1946, in Morrison, to Myron C. Rost, who survives.
She worked as a home health aide. She was a member of Busse Extension Club, Misouri Valley 4-H Club and Modern Woodman of America Youth Service Club. A member of Assumption Church in Morrison, she was also a member of the ladies sodality, Catholic Knights of America and was a Camp Hope Organizer.
Other survivors include: six sons, Charles Rost, Chamois, James Rost and Myron Rost, both of Morrison, Edward Rost, Jefferson City, Stephan Rost, St. Charles, and Glennon Rost, Quincy, Ill.; two daughters, Annette Henley, Jefferson City, and Angela Crenshaw, Morrison; one brother, Howard L. Thuli, Morrison; one sister, Dolores Dudenhoeffer, Jefferson City; 24 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
One son, Andrew Paul Rost, died in 1961.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Assumption Church. Fr. Patrick Dowling and Fr. Fred Elskamp will officiate. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, Morrison.
HUTSON
Makayla Lynn Hutson, infant daughter of Aaron and Kimberly Hutson, Freeburg, died Aug. 20, 1999, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.
She was born
Aug. 18, 1999, in Columbia.
Other survivors include: one sister, Whitney Hutson, of the home; her paternal grandparents, Bill and Wanda Hutson, Vienna; her maternal grandparents, Floyd and Joyce Crabtree, Vienna; her paternal great-grandmother, Bonnie Hutson, Vienna; and her maternal great-grandmother, Anna Weider, Vienna.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna. Burial will be in Vienna Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday and from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the Makayla Hutson Memorial Fund.
