Mr. Paul C. Farley, age 82 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo. passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010 at  Jefferson City Manor.
Mr. Farley was born on May 20, 1928 in Norris City, Illinois a son of Oliver and Edith Cruson Farley. He was married on December 12, 1975 in St. Louis, Mo. to Norma Siebern, who survives at the home.
Paul graduated from Diehlstadt High School in Diehlstadt, Mo. and later from Lincoln University with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology.
A resident of the central Missouri area since 1975, he served eight years in the Missouri Army National Guard.
Paul was employed as a job training program specialist with the Missouri Department of Economic Development and also worked for Man Power Planning. He was a member of Central United Church of Christ, the Kiwanis Club of  Jefferson City, Evening Lions Club, and mentored at South elementary school.
Paul was also a farmer and loved spending time on his farm near Russellville. He was extremely proud of the barn that he and Norma built from the ground up on that farm. Paul also enjoyed being a beekeeper and made honey under the label Far-View.
Survivors include: his wife of thirty-four years, Norma Farley; one daughter, Karen Sue Farley of Fulton, Mo. ; three sons, Paul Terry Farley of Williamsburg, Mo., Harold Farley of Columbia, Mo., and Michael Farley of Fulton, Mo. ; one sister, June House and her husband Gene of Poplar Bluff, Mo. ; one brother, Wendell Farley and his wife Joanna of Sikeston, Mo. ; two brothers-in-law, Larry Siebern and his wife Nancy of Ballwin, Mo. and Gary Siebern of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Irlene Groves; three brothers, G. R. Farley, Rodney Farley, and Leonard Farley; and one son, one brother, and two sisters that passed away in infancy.
A visitation will be held at Central United Church of Christ from 10:00 until 11:00 am Tuesday, December 7, 2010.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Central United Church of Christ with Reverend Dr. Stephen Buchholz officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Central United Church of Christ, 118 W. Ashley,  Jefferson City, Mo. 65101.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Rozier, age 103 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Monday, December 6, 2010 at Heisinger Bluffs.
Elizabeth was born October 23, 1907 in Carthage, Mo. the daughter of Allen and Maude Clark McReynolds. She was married on September 21, 1941 to George Rozier who preceded her in death in 1984. Elizabeth was educated in the Carthage Public Schools. She attended Monticello College in Godfrey, Illinois, the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 1929.
She was a member of Missouri Alpha of Pi Beta Phi, a member of the  Jefferson City Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club; and a member of Missouri Alpha of Phi Beta Kappa.
Elizabeth was a member of the Tuesday Club,  Jefferson City oldest club; a member of the Missouri State Historical Society; a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation; a member of the University of Missouri at Columbia Arthritis Center Advisory Council; a member of the Arthritis Foundation; a member of the Cole County Historical Society; a member of the Historic City of  Jefferson; and a member of Grace Episcopal Church. Survivors include: two sons, James Rozier and his wife Susan of  Jefferson City, Mo. and John Rozier and his wife Gerry of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; four grandchildren, Alexander Rozier, Christopher Rozier, Adam Rozier, and Elizabeth Rozier; and two great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother, Allen McReynolds.
A private family funeral service was conducted with entombment in the Rozier Mausoleum at Riverview Cemetery.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the charity of their choice.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

Mrs. Viola Lawrence, age 92 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo. went home to be with her Lord on Friday, December 10, 2010 at  Jefferson City Manor Care Center.
Mrs. Lawrence was born on October 26, 1918 in Alpena, South Dakota a daughter of John and Anna (Nuss) Neiffer. She was married on December 2, 1939 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. to Joren Samuel Lawrence, who preceded her in death on December 29, 1999.
She was employed at Ely Walker Factory in Illmo, Mo. for several years until she moved to Chicago in 1959. While living in Chicago she worked at Western Electric, Motorola, and Xerox. In 1970 she moved to Mount Vernon, Illinois where she was employed at General Radiator until her retirement in 1980.
A resident of the  Jefferson City area since 1994, she was a member of Concord Baptist Church.
Viola enjoyed making crafts, growing flowers and music of any kind. Survivors include: two sons, Richard A. Lawrence and his wife Doris of  Jefferson City, Mo. and Francis J. Lawrence and his wife Barbara of West Chicago, Illinois; two sisters, Martha Strub of Blackhawk, South Dakota and Alvina Maher of Huron, South Dakota; two brothers, John Neiffer and Alfred Neiffer both of Huron, South Dakota; six grandchildren, Dean Lawrence, Mark Lawrence, Randy Lawrence, Ryan Lawrence, Robbie Lawrence, and Rachel Lawrence; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one son, Paul R. Lawrence; three sisters, Irene Neiffer, Lillian Vilhauer, and Emma Timm; and two brothers, Paul Neiffer and Luvern Neiffer.
Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, December 13, 2010 at Chapel Hill Gardens West in Elmhurst, Illinois with the Reverend George Garrison officiating.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Concord Baptist Church or Hospice Compassus of  Jefferson City.

Mrs. Nancy E. Rottmann, age 83 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Saturday, December 11, 2010 at St. Joseph Bluffs.
Nancy was born September 21, 1927 the daughter of Revillo N. and Octavia M. Paubel Hall. She was married on December 18, 1948 in Marthasville, Mo. to Walter C. Rottmann. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Nancy graduated from Marthasville High School. A homemaker, Nancy was the office manager for her husband’s insurance business. She was involved in her children activities including Girl Scouts, the Jay Band Boosters, the Jay Football Boosters, and the American Field Services.
She was an active member of Central United Church of Christ where she served as the first woman president of the Consistory, sang in the Senior Choir and was a member of the Women’s Fellowship. Nancy was also a active member and past president of PEO, Chapter BW; a member of the Order of the Eastern Star; a member and past president of the Morning Music Club; a docent at the Missouri Governor’s Mansion; a charter member of Meadow Lake Acres Country Club; and a lifetime member of the Memorial Community Hospital Auxiliary. Nancy enjoyed reading, listening and playing music, was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed traveling especially to Arizona in the winter.
Survivors include: her husband of sixty-one years, Walter C. Rottmann; one daughter, JoAnn Benne and her husband Ron of Columbia, Mo; one son, Russell W. Rottmann and his wife Anne of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; one sister, Lucky Vitt and her husband Jerry of Pacific, Mo. ; one brother, James Hall and his wife Jeannie of Woodland, California; four grandchildren, Melissa Koga and her husband Dwight, Chris Benne and his wife Beth, Elizabeth Rottmann, and Julie Rottmann; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Lee Peterson.
Visitation will be at the Central United Church of Christ from 9:00 until 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 15, 2010.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Central United Church of Christ with the Reverend Dr. Stephen Buchholz officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Walter and Nancy Rottmann Scholarship Fund at the Capital Region Medical Center or to Central United Church of Christ.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

Mr. Marion L. “Mouse” Matthes, age 84 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the Golden Living Center.
Mouse was born May 29, 1926 in Belton, Mo. the son of Bert A. and Lillian Groh Matthes. He was married on June 5, 1955 in DeSoto, Kansas to Elaine Triebel.
A life long resident of the  Jefferson City area, Mouse graduated from  Jefferson City High School.
He served in the United States Army during World War II in the South Pacific.
Mouse was the distributor for the Kansas City Star for many years until his retirement in 1998.
He was a noted fast pitch softball pitcher. manager, and sponsor. Mouse’s animated career extended from 1947 until 1975 in  Jefferson City, and he appeared in twenty-four state, nine regional, and five national tournaments. His overall record as a pitcher included thirty-four no hitters and five perfect games. He was known for his humorous antics and love of the game. Mouse was a member and past president of the Evening Lions Club; a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Roy Sone Post 1003; a member of the American Legion, Roscoe Enloe Post5; and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie 2693.
Mouse was an expert fisherman and quail hunter who enjoyed entertaining family and friends while hunting and fishing. Survivors include: his wife Elaine Matthes Herring; one daughter, Sheila Ingala and her husband Steve of Olathe, Kansas; and three grandchildren, Luke Ingala, Nick Ingala, and Blake Ingala.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Dorothy Talaga.
A private family service will be conducted.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Assn. or the American Diabetes Assn.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

Mrs. Peggy M. Winter, age 45 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Monday, May 13, 2013 at her home.
Peggy was born July 26, 1967 in  Jefferson City, Mo. the daughter of Walter J. and LaVerne Bax Rhodes. She was married on April 14, 2007 in  Jefferson City, Mo. to Adam L. Winter.
A lifelong resident of the  Jefferson City area, Peggy graduated from  Jefferson City Public Schools.
A homemaker, Peggy had been employed with Maytag.
Survivors include: her husband, Adam Winter; her parents, Walter J. and LaVerne Rhodes of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; two sisters, Lisa Rhodes Gilley of  Jefferson City, Mo. and Virginia Rhodes Nichols of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; and one brother, Robert Rhodes of Sedalia, Mo
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Rhodes and Roger Rhodes, and one nephew, Ryan Rhodes.
Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Resurrection Cemetery.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Peggy Winter Memorial Fund.

Mrs. Patsy I. Lunsford, age 81 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013.
Patsy was born January 4, 1932 in Chamois, Mo. the daughter of John B. and Melinda Withaus Curtie. She was married on February 27, 1954 in Chamois, Mo. to Owen Lunsford, Jr.
A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, Patsy graduated from Chamois High School.
A homemaker, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include: her husband of fifty-nine years, Owen Lunsford, Jr. ; two daughters, Jackie Price and her husband Jim of  Jefferson City, Mo. and Robin Lunsford of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; one sister, Vivian Vahrenberg and her husband Emil of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; two granddaughters, Amanda Allen and her husband Brian of  Jefferson City, Mo. and Melissa Bruemmer and her husband Brad of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; three great grandchildren, Hunter Allen, Haiden Allen, and Owen Bruemmer.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, LaVerne Benson and Elaine Trachsel.
Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Daniel Hilty officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of their choice.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

Mr. Robert J. Routh, age 61 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died Monday, May 13, 2013 at his home.
Robert was born December 13, 1951 in St. Joseph, Mo. the son of Donzel and Beverly Henderson Routh. He was married on March 19, 1983 in Kansas City, Mo. to Venita Moore.
He graduated from Central High School in St. Joseph, Mo. and attended Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Mo.
Robert was employed as a contract computer programmer and through his career he has worked for the federal government, the Armed Forces, and several insurance agencies. He moved to  Jefferson City a year and a half ago to work as a programmer with the State of Missouri. Robert always loved technology and was passionate about his work. Survivors include: three daughters, Alicia Routh of Seattle, Washington , Samantha Figueroa and her husband Roberto of Blue Springs, Mo., and Veronica Routh of Creston, Iowa; three sisters, Debbie Ringot and her husband Victor, Diane Routh, and Denise Lingle and her husband Richard, all of St. Joseph, Mo. ; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 pm Monday, May 20, 2013 at Sub-Technologies, 2655 Northeast Hagen Road, Lee’s Summit, Mo. 64064
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Robert Routh Memorial Fund.

Mrs. Agnes M. Signaigo, age 93 years, of  Jefferson City, Mo. passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Golden Living Center.
Agnes was born on May 11, 1920 in St. Elizabeth, Mo. a daughter of the late Henry and Theresa Dubbert Boeckmann. She was raised in St. Elizabeth, Mo. with her large family and attended St. Elizabeth Public Schools.
After living in St. Louis for a while, Agnes moved to  Jefferson City in 1968. She was employed with Chesebrough-Ponds for sixteen years until her retirement in 1984. She enjoyed playing bingo, making quilts, crocheting and cherished time with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include: four daughters, Rosemary (Ron) Blanner of St. Louis, Mo., Janet (Randy) Weatherly of  Jefferson City, Mo., Betty (Jerry) Thoenen of Frankenstein, Mo. and Patti (William) Brendel of Columbia, Ill. ; three sisters, Irene (Frank) Utley of Seattle, Wa., Martha (Norbert) Plassmeyer of  Jefferson City, Mo. and Marcella (Bernard) Schwartz of  Jefferson City, Mo. ; nine grandchildren, Margaret Wunderlich, Sharon Thompson, Mike Signaigo, Kim Winder, Kevin Winder, Gerard Signaigo, Melinda Signaigo, Ashley Knaebel, and John “Jack” Knaebel; and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Steve Signaigo; one infant granddaughter; three brothers, Raymond Boeckmann, Louis Boeckmann and Frank Boeckmann; and three sisters, Lucille Krause, Florence Hoffman and Annie Wilson.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice Compassus, 600 Monroe Street,  Jefferson City, Mo. 65101 or Golden Living Center, 3038 W. Truman Blvd.,  Jefferson City, Mo. 65109. The family thanks both organizations for the care of Agnes these past months.
