PAYSON, Ill. - Glenn E. Voth, 75, of Barry Community Care Center and formerly of rural Plainville, Ill., died at 1 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, at the Community Care Center.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Payson, Ill. The Revs. Bill Baughman and Larry Stewart will officiate. Burial will be at Stewart Cemetery in Plainville.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today and until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Voth was born May 6, 1926, in Quincy, Ill., to Edward C. and Helen C. Laaker Voth.
He was married to Louise Kaden on Nov. 8, 1959, in Marion County. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Doug Voth of Plainville and Darren Voth of Bloomington, Ill.; three daughters, Danette Rabe of Loraine, Ill., Diane Schroeder of Quincy, Ill., and Donna French of Olathe, Kan.; seven grandchildren, Kristen and Brittany French, both of Olathe, Shannon and Claire Rabe, both of Loraine, Ben Schroeder of Quincy, Megan Miles of Chicago, Ill., and Jennifer Miles of Plainville; and one brother, Charles Voth of Waco, Texas .
Mr. Voth was a member of First Baptist Church of Plainville and the Plainville Lions Club. He farmed in the Plainville area his entire life and was a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed trap shooting and trout fishing.
Robert (Dike) Morris
Troy

TROY - Robert (Dike) Morris, 87, of Troy, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at Troy Manor in Troy.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, at McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home in Troy. The Rev. Sammy Lorton will officiate. Burial will be at Morris-Broyles Cemetery in Lincoln County.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Morris was born July 18, 1914, in Briscoe to Douglas and Annie Broyles Morris.
He was married to Ruth Faye Ziegler in February 1947 in St. Louis. She preceded him in death Jan. 10, 1993.
Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Gress of Briscoe; one son, Kenneth Morris of Troy; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Tonk, Wadey, Fad, Andy and Bud Morris; and two sisters, Carrie Raney and Addie Satterlee.
Mr. Morris had worked as a mail handler for the Terminal Railroad in St. Louis for more than 30 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Memorials may be made to Morris-Broyles Cemetery in Lincoln County.
Pallbearers will be Mark Edwards, Andrew Morris, Matt Morris and Brian Schulze.
Arline J. Rarick
New London

HANNIBAL - Arline J. Rarick, 69, of New London, died at 10:50 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
A memorial service will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. The Rev. Jay Stinson will officiate.
Ms. Rarick was born Aug. 22, 1932, in Perry to Oscar Lee and Tina Fern Fulton Fulton.
Survivors include three daughters, Arline Joyce Carpenter of Orville, Calif., and Elaine M. Hoder and Regina A. Rarick, both of New London; one brother, Richard Fulton of Hannibal; and two sisters, Donna Waid of Davenport, Fla., and Doris Jean Howard of LaBelle.
Ms. Rarick was the owner and operator of Bunny's Place-Second Hand Store in New London. She was a Seventh-Day Adventist.
Ella M. (Sally) O'Keefe

HANNIBAL - Ella Mae (Sally) O'Keefe, 89, of Louisiana and formerly of Center, died at 4:08 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, at Pike County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at Grand View Funeral Chapel in Hannibal. The Rev. Gene Stewart will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. O'Keefe was born Nov. 10, 1911, in Frankford to Issac and Lola Howell Winn. She was married to B.D. O'Keefe on March 7, 1944, in Hannibal. She preceded him in death May 26, 1991.
Survivors include one brother, Thomas Winn of Indianapolis, Ind.; five sisters, Anna B. Mobley of Bowling Green, Virginia Beezley of Sherman, Ill., Leota Billings of Hannibal, Addie Sharp of Indianapolis, Ind., and Betty Henry of Rockport, Ill.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, John Ed. Winn, Charles Martin Winn and James P. Winn; and three sisters, Edith M. See, Lola Maupin and Mary K. Price.
Mrs. O'Keefe was a lifelong resident of the area and was a member of the Olivet Christian Church of Center.
Pallbearers will be Martin Dale Price, Darrell Price, Terry Feil, Scott Quirk, Wayne Henry and Rodney Knepp.
Robert L. Allen
Paris

PARIS - Robert Lee Allen, 74, of Paris, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at Moberly Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Agnew Funeral Home in Paris. The Rev. John Grimmett will officiate. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Paris.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Allen was born April 16, 1927, near Monroe City to Ted and Bessie Jefferson Allen.
He was married to Patricia Dalton on June 28, 1947, in Napa, Calif. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Mike Allen of Camdenton and Terry Allen of Portage, Wis.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Darlene Epperson of Curryville.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Allen.
Mr. Allen was a graduate of Monroe City High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the International Union of Operators Engineers No. 513. He was a past member of the Odd Fellows and Masonic Lodge in Perry.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Helen Hendricks

CLARENCE - Helen Hendricks, 63, of Clarence died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2001 at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Chapel in Clarence. Brother Howard Hartung will officiate. Burial will be at Bethel Zion Cemetery in Bethel.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services with the family receiving guests from noon until time of services at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Clarence.
Mrs. Hendricks was born in Leonard on Aug. 23, 1938 to James Robert and Mildred Katherine Maddox Ray.
She was united in marriage to Donald Hendricks in Woodville. He survives.
Other survivors include three children, Kathy Hendricks of Sheridan, Wyo., Donna Sue Tate of Clarence and Rob Hendricks of Bevier; four grandchildren, Britney and Brook Tate and Tyler and Spencer Hendricks; three brothers, Richard Ray of Novelty, Donnie Ray of Shelbyville and John Ray of Jay, Okla.; and one sister, Roberta Head of Novelty.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Robert Ray.
Helen was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She graduated from Leonard High School in 1956 and worked at McGraw-Edison in Clarence and Stampers in Macon.
Bonnie Gene Lane
Elsberry

ELSBERRY - Bonnie Gene Lane, 76, of Elsberry died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles.
A mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry. Father Richard Vogt will officiate. Burial will be at the Elsberry City Cemetery in Elsberry.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9 at the Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
Mrs. Lane was born Feb. 25, 1925, in St. Louis to Charles Joseph and Marcella Lynch O'Toole. She was united in marriage on July 15, 1980 in Rantoul, Ill., to Frederick Lane. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1999.
Survivors include on son, Mike Mercer of Paxton, Ill.; one daughter, Jeanine Dickherber of Wentzville; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to include as survivors one daughter-in-law, Melba Mercer of Paxton; one son-in-law, Steve Dickherber of Wentzville; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, C.J. "Bud" O'Toole and Jack O'Toole; two sisters, Mary Jane Sullivan and Jeanine O'Toole; one son, Joe Ira; and one daughter, Vicki Cary.
Mrs. Lane served her country during World War II in the United States Navy from May 31, 1945 until July 8, 1946. She was employed throughout her life as a private nurse and was a member of the American Legion Post 226 in Elsberry, the VFW Auxiliary Post 9046 and the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Memorials may be made to the VFW Christmas Drive in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jim Azar, Allen Siders Sr., Terry Martin, Marty Dietz, Junior Vrsnik and Gilbert Riffle.
