Louisiana - Jack Vincent Stumbaugh Sr., 83, of Louisiana, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002, at his home.
Graveside services were conducted Saturday, Oct. 12, at Oak Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Warren officiated.
Mr. Stumbaugh was born Sept. 18, 1919, in Louisiana to Vincent and Mary Roan Stumbaugh.
He was married to Evelyn Woods. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Jay Vee Stumbaugh of the home and Jack Stumbaugh Jr. of Bowling Green; one daughter, Joyce Nelson of Curryville; one sister, Esther Norman; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jader Dean Stumbaugh.
Mr. Stumbaugh retired from Hercules and delivered Meals on Wheels for several years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Pallbearers were Jack Stumbaugh, Kevin Stumbaugh, Jerry Stumbaugh, Richard Roan, Clayton Roan and Bob Woods.

Louisiana - Lizzie Jeanette Meyers, 82, of Louisiana, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2002, at Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. The Rev. Earl Wood will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Louisiana.
Visitation will be from noon until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Meyer was born Jan. 5, 1920, in Clarksville to Jacob Thomas and Sarah Frances Calhoun Kull.
She was married to Burdett Meyers in 1937. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include one sister, Mary Frances Windmiller of Salisbury; five nephews, Honan Kull of Griggsville, Ill., Clarence Kull of Odessa, Texas , Dick Windmiller of Salisbury, Don Windmiller of Hercules, Calif., and Earl Kull of Kirksville; and one niece, Amanda Brendt of Tucson, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Meyers; three brothers; and three sisters.

Louisiana - Gertie Bell Royer, 79, of Louisiana, died Monday, Oct. 14, 2002 at St. Joseph West Hospital in Lake St. Louis.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at First Assembly of God Church in Louisiana. The Rev. Robert Hutsell will officiate. Burial will be at Buffalo Cemetery near Louisiana.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana.
Mrs. Royer was born Sept. 10, 1923, in Eolia to William Thomas and Mary Madeline Bufford Young.
She was married to George Morton on Dec. 24, 1938, in Calumet. He preceded her in death Jan. 7, 1985. She was married to Lester Royer in 1986. He preceded her in death March 7, 1992.
Survivors include one son, Donald Morton and wife, Mary, of Louisiana; two grandchildren, Kimberly Sumner and husband, James, of Louisiana and Donald Morton Jr. and wife, Jennifer, of Nebo, Ill.; six great-grandchildren, Zachary, Geordie and Mirinda Sumner, all of Louisiana, and Andrew, Joshua and Makayla Morton, all of Nebo; two stepchildren, Lester (Skip) Royer of Hannibal and Sharon Ansel of the state of Alaska; two brothers, James Young of Hannibal and Robert Young of Beardstown, Ill., and numerous stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Young.
Marilyn Louise Reynolds
HANNIBAL - Marilyn Louise Reynolds, 50, of Carroll, Iowa, and formerly of New London, died at 4:42 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2002, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Carroll.
Funeral services are pending at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.
Henry (Hank) Havlik

TROY - Henry (Hank) Havlik, 73, of Elsberry and formerly of Troy, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002, at Elsberry Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Troy. Father Dominic Lenk, O.S.B., will officiate. Burial will be at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Millwood.
Visitation began Sunday, with a Christian wake service and will continue from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. today, at McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home in Troy.
Mr. Havlik was born July 19, 1929, in Silex to John Thomas and Catherine Elizabeth Flynn Havlik.
He was married to Betty Fleming on Sept. 19, 1953, in Millwood. She survives.
Other survivors include five children, Tom Havlik, Beverly (Dale) Menne, Nancy (Bill) Pieper, and Mike (Becky) Havlik, all of Troy, Liz (Brett) Harrelson of Bowling Green; 12 grandchildren; and one brother, Norman (Lou) Havlik of Silex.
Frederick (Darrow) Wenom

TROY - Frederick (Darrow) Wenom Sr., 81, of Troy and formerly of St. Louis, died at 8:27 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002, at Lincoln County Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Home-Troy Chapel. Pastor Wes Denham will officiate. Burial, with full military honors, will be at Troy City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Wenom was born April 13, 1921, in St. James. to Martin John and Ethyl Louise Darrow Wenom.
He was married to Helen (Jean) Hansen on Sept. 1, 1941, in St. Louis. She survives.
Other survivors include one son, Fred Wenom and wife, Pat, of Troy; one daughter, Rebecca Spilker and husband, Gene, of the state of California; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Russell Wenom; and one sister, Georgiana Hansen.
Mary Margaret Grimmett

PARIS - Mary Margaret Grimmett, 77, of Paris, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002, at Audrain Medical Center in Mexico.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Presbyterian Church in Paris. Burial will be at South Fork Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services today at the church.
Agnew Funeral Home in Paris is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Grimmett was born April 7, 1925, to W. Joe and Vastis Seymour Hill.
She was married to Howard Lee Grimmett on Sept. 15, 1945, in Benton, Ill. He survives.
Other survivors include three sons, John Grimmett of Paris, Brad Grimmett of New York, N.Y., Hill Grimmett of Fort Collin, Colo.; three grandchildren, Ben, Amanda and Abby; and one brother, Robert Hill of Benton, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Lee Grimmett.
Mrs. Grimmett was a Head Start teacher for many years.
Memorials may be made to the South Fork Church.
