TROY - Jamie Michelle Montgomery, 25, of Troy, died Saturday, June 14, 2003, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis
A celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, at St. Stephen United Methodist Church. Pastor Chris Roche will officiate. Burial will be at Troy City Cemetery, with an old-fashioned funeral coach pulled by albino horses.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Funeral Home in Troy.
Miss Montgomery was born Aug. 24, 1977, in St. Charles to James Montgomery and Barbara Montgomery.
Survivors include her parents, Barbara Montgomery of Troy, and James Montgomery and his wife, Judy, of Troy; her grandparents, Dallas and Shirley Montgomery of Troy, and Eugene and Barb Jenkins of Bowling Green; and one cousin, Wendy Roche of Troy.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Darline Ogden Jenkins.
Miss Montgomery was a 1995 graduate of Troy Buchanan High School and worked as a teacher's aide at Troy Primary School for eight years. She was a member of St. Stephen Church.
Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Linda S. Rosser

MONROE CITY - Linda Sue Key Rosser, 51, of Monroe City, died at 10 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2003, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
After cremation, services will be scheduled at a later date.
Garner Funeral Home in Monroe City is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rosser was born March 12, 1952, in Hannibal to David Eugene and Neva Joy Treaster Key.
She was married to Russell Wayne Rosser Sr. on June 24, 2000, in Monroe City. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Neva Joy Riggs of Hannibal; one daughter, Heather Key of Hannibal; one brother, Ronnie Key of Hannibal; two sisters, Debbie Cable and Cheryl Wilson, both of Hannibal; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; and one grandson.
Mrs. Rosser was of the Catholic faith.
Gerald Riegel
Hannibal

HANNIBAL - Gerald Riegel, 90, of Hannibal, died at 6:43 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2003, at his home.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
There will be no visitation.
The James O'Donnell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Riegel was born Aug. 17, 1912, in Bowling Green to Roy W. and Nellie Byrd Griffith Riegel.
He was married to Elizabeth Gosney Moss on Dec. 29, 1932, in Raymondville, Texas . She preceded him in death July 10, 1999.
Survivors include one son, Jon Derek Riegel of Deer, Ark.; one daughter, Deborah V. Richmond of Hannibal; four brothers, Garland Riegel of Charleston, Ill., Roy W. Riegel Jr. of Clinton, Ill., Lyman Maurice Riegel of Virginia, Ill., and Robert Riegel of Orange Park, Fla.; five sisters, Frances Riegel and Byrniece Richmond both of Muncie, Ind., Nadine Lankford of Lawrence, Kan., Jean Wammack of Red Oak, Texas , and Joan Barton of Quincy, Ill.; four grandchildren, Charlotte Trezza of Smithtown, N.Y., Amy Jaynes of Sachse, Texas , and Ray Richmond and Bess Auten, both of Hannibal; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Ruth Peterson.
Mr. Riegel was owner and operator of Riegel Tire and Implement Co., and he also built several custom homes in the area. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.

David Lee Meyer

DES MOINES, Iowa - David Lee Meyer, 54, formerly of Hannibal, died Friday, June 6, 2003, at his home in Des Moines, Iowa.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Des Moines. Monsignor Gerald Stessman officiated with a High Mass.
David was born Feb. 7, 1949, in Hannibal to Peter John and Della Amazella Meyer.
Survivors are two sons, David Paul Meyer of Des Moines, a law student at Drake University, and Patrick Meyer, a U.S. Marine stationed in California; one brother, Nicholas and his wife, Donna, of Hannibal; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Meyer and Elaine Meyer, both of Hannibal; four nieces, Evonne Keppner, Evette Kaiser, Edie Calhoon and Melissa Foster; six nephews, Jeff, Doug, Mike, Nicholas H., James and Louis Meyer; a special cousin, Robert Atchley; and uncle, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one son, Peter; his parents, Peter John and Amazella Meyer; and two brothers, Peter Paul Meyer and Edward Francis Meyer, both formerly of Hannibal.
David was a pressman at Gardner Printing of Des Moines for 30 years until his death and a former employee at Western Publishing before moving to Des Moines in 1973. He attended St. Mary's Grade School and McCooey High School before graduation in 1967 from Hannibal High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam era.

Hull, Ill.

HANNIBAL - Mary E. Snyder, 85, of Hull, Ill., died at 3 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2003, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 16, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Victor J. Keefe Jr. will officiate. Burial will be at Akers Chapel Cemetery in Hull.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 15, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.
Mrs. Snyder was born Sept. 8, 1917, in Barry, Ill., to Fred and Ada Cooley Rigg.
She was married to Floyd Snyder in February 1957. He preceded her in death Feb. 15, 1977.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Sue (Susie) Kennon of Dallas, Texas , Pamela Shipley of Hull and Jackie Williams of Springfield, Ill.; one brother, Rex Rigg of Taylorville, Ill.; one sister, Edna Ford of Baylis, Ill.; two grandchildren, Kristen Stout and Zach Shipley; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers.
Mrs. Snyder was a retired hairdresser and was owner of her own shop in Hull.
Pallbearers will be Randy White , Terry White , Richard White and Charles Stout.
Marjorie Louise Briscoe
Frankford
May 9, 1922 - June 13, 2003
Louisiana - Marjorie Louise Briscoe, 81, of Frankford, died Friday, June 13, 2003, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 16, at Grassy Creek Baptist Church near Louisiana. The Rev. Brook Kurth will officiate. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery near Louisiana.
Visitation will be from noon until time of services Monday at the church.
The Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Briscoe was born May 9, 1922, in Waterloo, Ill., to Ovid and Anna Sendelbeick Brown.
She was married to William Warren (Jack) Briscoe on May 8, 1948, in Millwood. He survives.
Other survivors include four nieces, Marilyn Brown and Marjorie Brown, both of Troy, Julie Majors of Columbia and Barbara of the state of Nebraska; two nephews, Jerry Briscoe and David Briscoe, both of New London; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Joseph Brown.
