Jacob Lee Moyers Taylor

HANNIBAL - Jacob Lee Moyers, the son of Jared and Rebecca St. Clair Moyers of Taylor, was stillborn Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Graveside services and burial were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hannibal. Pastor Roger Stevens officiated.

Survivors include his parents; his half-sister, Tori Ann Francis Moyers of Port Huron, Mich.; his paternal grandparents, Dan Moyers and Nancy Moyers, of Centerville, Ala., and Linda Ledbetter of Hannibal; his maternal grandparents, Billy and Sandy Yager of Hannibal; two aunts, Amanda St. Clair and Shilo Ledbetter of Hannibal; three uncles, Eric St. Clair, Travis St. Clair of Florida and James Stamper of Hannibal; four great-aunts, Julie Ledbetter, Debbie Ledbetter, Lisa Ledbetter and Sis Ledbetter, all of Hannibal; five great-uncles, John Ledbetter, Courtland Ledbetter, Moe Medina, Roger Medina and George Medina; and 14 cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Delmar and Edith St. Clair.

Kenneth Ray Wilson
Hannibal
Jan. 21, 1946-April 10, 2004

HANNIBAL - Kenneth Ray Wilson, 58, of Hannibal, died at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Willow Care Center in Hannibal.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Drew Sutor will officiate. Burial with full military rites by the Emmette J. Shields American Legion Post No. 55 will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, at the funeral home.

Mr. Wilson was born Jan. 21, 1946, in Hannibal to Benny and Genevieve King Wilson.

Survivors include one son, Kenneth R. Wilson II (Ava) of Palmyra; two brothers, Thomas Wilson (Gwenda) and Butch Wilson (Mary), all of Hannibal; three sisters, Betty Oltman (Bill), Sue Mundle (David) and Wanda Wilson, all of Hannibal; one granddaughter, Brooke Olivia Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by one brother, Bud Wilson; and his parents.

Mr. Wilson was a former auto mechanic and part owner of Norman & Wilson Service Station from 1964 until 1993. After retiring Mr. Wilson worked at the VFW Hall, where he was a past senior vice commander. He was vice commander of the VFW Post No. 2446 and an active member of the POPS Club. He served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a Catholic by faith.

Memorials may be made to the family, in care of the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Wilson, Steve Wilson, Les Wilson, John Wilson, Kevin Mundle and Dusty Wilson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Norman, John Thomure, Buddy Lowe, Lefty Buffington, Karen Waters, Reggie Riedinger, Travis Andrews, Shane Andrews, Chris Dudgeon, Kent Worthington, Ben Wilson, Terry Oltman and David Wilson.

Charles Wallace Ravenscraft
Hannibal
Aug. 2, 1912-April 11, 2004

HANNIBAL - Charles Wallace Ravenscraft, 91, of Hannibal, died at 7 a.m. Sunday, April 11, 2004, at Luther Manor Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, at Smith Funeral Home & Chapel in Hannibal. Pastor Mark Burkey will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Ravenscraft was born Aug. 2, 1912, in Sunnyside in Ralls County to Charles Wallace Ravenscraft Sr. and Minnie Fritz Ravenscraft.

He was married to Mary Eudora Dickensheets on June 4, 1937. She preceded him in death May 24, 2002.

Survivors include one daughter, Carol Sue Meininger of Houston, Texas ; seven grandchildren, Charles Ravenscraft, Kim Harrison, Kevin Ravenscraft, Sara Crites, David Meininger, Amy Odom and Jason Meininger; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Donnell Ravenscraft; one granddaughter, Lucretta Ravenscraft Bassham; three sisters, Mildred Muehring, Josephine Blair and Mary Ruth Hoppe; and three brothers, Robert Ravenscraft, Archie Ravenscraft and Howard Ravenscraft.

Mr. Ravenscraft was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Hannibal. He was formerly active in Farm Bureau, RSVP and Sam's Club. The Ravenscrafts farmed near Center for many years. They made their home in Hannibal after their retirement.

Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene.

Pallbearers will be David Meininger, Jason Meininger, Steve Crites, Steve Muehring, Jeff Muehring and Fred Swan.

 Jefferson (Jeff) Frederick Mudd
May 29, 1935 - April 10, 2004

SILEX -  Jefferson (Jeff) Frederick Mudd age 68 of Arnold, formerly of Silex, died Saturday, April 10, 2004, at his home.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, April 12, at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Silex with the Rev. Randall Cone officiating. Burial will be in the St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Millwood.

Visitation for Mr. Mudd will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold and from 10 a.m. Monday until time of service at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Silex.

He was born May 29, 1935, in Silex, the son of Frederick Renferd and Jessie Wilson Ellis Mudd. He married Johann L. Parker. She survives. Also surviving are five stepchildren; six stepgrandchildren; one sister Nancy Jo (Mudd) Gorman and her husband Bob of Springfield, Ill.; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother David D. Mudd.

Mr. Mudd served in the United States Army in 1956 and again in 1963. He retired from General Motors after 33 plus years of employment.

Edith Mary Kenney
Tucson, Ariz.
Nov. 19, 1912-April 8, 2004

SHELBYVILLE - Edith Mary Kenney, 91, of Tucson, Ariz., and formerly of Shelbyville, died Thursday, April 8, 2004, in Tucson.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, at Shelbyville United Methodist Church in Shelbyville. Burial will be at Shelby Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the church.

Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Kenney was born Nov. 19, 1912, in Marengo, Iowa, to Bert and Ola Redman Bogear.

She married Bruce Kenney on Dec. 24, 1937, in Marengo. He died July 8, 2002.

Survivors include two children, Sally Kyle of Tucson, Ariz., and James B. Kenney of Southport, N.C.; five grandchildren, James M. Kenney, Jennifer Kenney Holland, Aaron Kenney, Matthew Kyle and Megan Kyle Munzesheimer; three great-grandchildren, Hope and Hannah Munzesheimer, and Ressie Grace Holland; and one sister, Carole Schaub of Phoenix, Ariz., whom she raised from age 8 after their mother died.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Forrest Bogear; and one sister, Gail Bogear Bennet.

Clarence Wayne McKee
Perry
May 4, 1934-April 10, 2004

PALMYRA - Clarence Wayne McKee, 69, of Perry and formerly of Hannibal, died at 5:59 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Ewing Memorial Cemetery in Ewing. The Rev. Jim Baker will officiate.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. today at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra.

Mr. McKee was born May 4, 1934, in Marion County to Dewey and Mabel Bridgman McKee.

Survivors include three sisters, Betty Carner of Charleston, S.C., Darlene Lieurance and husband, Charles, of New London, and Vesta Baker and husband, Jim, of Caddo, Okla.; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Russell McKee; and one brother-in-law, John Carner.

Mr. McKee was a student at Skills Development Workshop in Hannibal until his health failed. He then moved to Williams Residential Home in 1985. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop No. 594.

Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics.

Kenneth Wayne Zumwalt

Troy
June 20, 1938 - April 9, 2004

TROY - Kenneth Wayne Zumwalt, 65, of Troy, died Friday, April 9, 2004, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 12, at McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home in Troy. The Revs. Carrell Day and Kenneth Wells will officiate. Burial will be at Sulphur Lick Cemetery in Troy.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 11, at the funeral home.

Mr. Zumwalt was born June 20, 1938, in Moscow Mills to James and Zelma Wells Zumwalt.

He was married to Mary Pogue on April 29, 1979, in Bland. She survives in Troy.

Other survivors include five daughters, Rose (Dennis) Brewer of Marion, Texas , Pam (John) Finnerty of Troy, Donna (David) Goad of Troy, Jennifer (Kirk) Stamper of Paola, Kan., and Misty (Michael) Beauchamp of Troy; four sons, Kevin Zumwalt and Kim Pettey, both of Troy, Matthew (Beverly) Zumwalt of Troy, Bruce (Wendy) Bouman of Macon and Kevin (Dana) Haskins of Troy; two sisters, Jeanie (Sonny) Lavy of Troy and Wanda (Jim) McCardie of Troy; one brother, James (Billie) Zumwalt of Bland; 25 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson; and one great-grandson.

Mr. Zumwalt had owned Clearwater Well Drilling in Lincoln County and also worked for Flynn Drilling Co. He had been a truck driver for Central Elevator and also farmed in Lincoln County.

Memorials may be made to the Missouri Baptist Children's Home or Community Loving Care Hospice, in care of the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be his nephews, Jimmy Zumwalt, Keith Webster, Donald Zumwalt, Mike Lavy, Mark Lavy and Roger McCardie.

An honorary pallbearer will be Bill Creech.
