SHELBYVILLE - Dorothy Forman, 89, of Shelbyville, died at 7 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2004, at Moberly Regional Hospital in Moberly.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, at the Leonard Christian Church in Leonard. The Rev. Jim Bilbro will officiate. Burial will be at Leonard Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 12, at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbyville.
Mrs. Forman was born July 23, 1914, in Cherry Box to Ancil O. and Nannie Jewel Hoofer Smith.
She was married to Thomas (Nook) Forman on July 16, 1933, in Macon. He preceded her in death April 19, 1994.
Survivors include three children, Donald Forman of Leon, Iowa, Eddie Forman and wife, Dawn, of Sheridan, Ill., Kevin Forman and wife, Toni, of Kansas City, Mo., a special friend, Karen Forman of Macon; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donald and Weldon Smith; one sister, Jean Barnett; and one grandson, Kyle Forman.
Memorials may be made to Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch.

HANNIBAL - Charles (Ed) Record, 86, of Hannibal, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 9, at his residence.
Funeral services are pending at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.
Dean Thrasher
BETHEL - Dean Thrasher, 69, of Brashear, formerly of Barry, Ill., died at 4:20 a.m. April 9, 2004, at his son's home in Brashear.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 12, at the Shiloh Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the church.
Emma Goodley Benton
Providence, Ky.
Feb. 19, 1956 - April 7, 2004
DIXON, Ky. - Emma Goodley Benton, 48, of Providence, Ky., died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at her home.
Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 10, at Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, Ky. The Rev. Jeff McMain will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
The Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, Ky., is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Benton was born Feb. 19, 1956, in Henderson County, Ky.
Survivors include her father and stepmother, Hal V. and Darlene Goodley of Harlingen, Texas ; brothers and sisters-in-law, Hal D. and Patrice Goodley of Madisonville, Ky., George and Trish Goodley of Dixon, and James and Calista Goodley of Knoxville, Tenn.; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Darrell Quertermous of Hannibal; one son, Matthew Arron Benton of Providence; nieces and nephews, Zachary Quertermous, Ashleigh Goodley, Macy Goodley, James Goodley, Elizabeth Goodley; and two stepnieces, Amanda and Amber.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Benton; her mother, Fannye Elizabeth Goodley; and one stepson, Bradley Benton.
Mrs. Benton was a homemaker. She enjoyed her cats, collectibles and her son, Matt. She will be missed dearly by all her close friends. She was of the Christian faith.

John William Shanks Jr.
CANTON - Lt. Col. John William Shanks Jr., 82, of Birmingham, Ala., and formerly of Lewis County, died Monday, April 5, 2004, at his home.
Graveside services, with full military honors, will be at 11 a.m. today, April 9, at Benjamin Cemetery near Canton.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services today at Davis Funeral Home in Canton.
Thomas Logan Gill
SHELBINA - Thomas Logan Gill, infant son of Matt and Jennifer Gill, died at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina. Father Paul Hartley will officiate. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 12, at the funeral home.
Survivors include his parents, Thomas Mathew and Jennifer Baker Gill of Shelbina; grandparents, Tom Gill and Lisa Moore, both of Shelbina, and Randy and Gail Baker of Clarence; great-grandparents, Dorothy Gill of Shelbina, Leroy and Ellen Adams of Lentner, and Harold and Betty Carolyn Echternacht of Leonard; great-great-grandmother, Geneva Oliver of Clarence; and several aunts and uncles.
Memorials may be made to the Neo-Natal Unit at Boone Hospital in Columbia.
Evea Elizabeth Frey
Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN - Evea Elizabeth Frey, age 79, of Bowling Green, died Tuesday, April 6, 2004, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 10, at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Andy O'Dowd officiating. Burial will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, April 9, at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
Mrs. Frey was born Dec. 4, 1924, in Vandalia to Harry Ernest and Ruby Margaret Wiliams Pierce.
She was married to Kenyon W. Frey on Aug. 23, 1941, in Hannibal. He preceded her in death in July 1984. To this union three children were born.
Survivors include her son, Wayne Frey of Bowling Green; her daughter Yvonne (Sissy) Clear and husband, Orval, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three grandchildren, James Taft of San Antonio, Texas ; Heather Frey of Bowling Green; Lacie Frey of Hannibal; and four great-grandchildren, Alexis Talton of Bowling Green, Logan and Paige Taft of San Antonio, Texas , and Colton Wayne Crabill of Hannibal.
Evea Frey lived her early years in the Vandalia area and later moved to Bowling Green in 1949. She enjoyed sewing, embroidering and caring for other people, among which she baby-sat many children for several years. She was a homemaker and worked as a seamstress at Bobbie Brooks and a custodian at the Bowling Green Laundromat and Bowling Green Community Center.
Mrs. Frey was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Ergonian Sunday School Class, served as custodian for many years and participated in many church functions, including serving meals to the Bowling Green Lions Club. Mrs. Frey was also a member of the VFW No. 5553 Ladies Auxiliary, the Rebekah's and the Pioneer Square Dance Class.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; her son, Lee Frey, on Jan. 11, 1997; and her brother, Gordon Smreker.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
Calvin Wayne McMillin
Columbia
April 26, 1926 - April 7, 2004
COLUMBIA - Calvin Wayne McMillin, 77 of Columbia, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at Boone Hospital Center.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 10, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. McMillin was born April 26, 1926, in Farber to Cassius M. and Bessie E. Rice McMillin.
He was married to Esther Allen on Sept. 21, 1946, in St. Louis. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Chris McMillin of Cameron and Chuck McMillin of Columbia; and four grandchildren, Colin, Joel, Emily and Alex, all of Columbia.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. McMillin served with the U.S. Army during World War II and retired after 20 years of service.

James A. Nash Sr.
Moscow Mills

TROY - James A. Nash Sr., 83, of Moscow Mills, died Thursday, April 8, 2004, at Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, at McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home in Troy. The Rev. Steve Jones will officiate. Burial will be at National Cemetery in Jefferson Barracks.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, April 12, at the funeral home.
Mr. Nash was born May 28, 1920, in Nashville, Tenn., to John and Beulah Flatt Nash.
He was married to Thelma Hedges on March 8, 1943, in St. Charles. She survives.
Other survivors include one son, James Nash of Troy; four daughters, Shannon (Scott) Boyd of Silex, Sherry (Gary) Mueller of Moscow Mills, Sandy (Ed) Huecker of Troy and Marilyn (Greg) Booth of Wright City; two sisters, Minnie Gill of St. Louis County, Dorothy (James) Murphy of Wentzville; 17 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Vernon Nash; and one sister, Nora Kuntz.
