MONROE CITY - Wayne Allan Davis, 56, of New London, passed away at 1:07 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2004, in the emergency room of Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 10, at Garner Funeral Chapel in Monroe City. The Rev. Wentric Williams will officiate. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Baptist Cemetery at Woodland.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Davis was born Oct. 30, 1947, in Rock Island, Ill., to Thomas and Rosceale Gilmore Davis.
Survivors include four sons, Billy Powell, Josh Davis and Bobby Davis, all of Hannibal; and Cory Davis, address unknown; three daughters, Elizabeth Crandall of Monroe City, Sarah Reedy of Hannibal and Lisa Davis, address unknown; three brothers, Lewis Fuller of the state of Colorado, and Robert and Fred Fuller, both of Peoria, Ill.; six sisters, Louis Tarlton of the state of Texas , Judy Cash of Elko, Nev., Jaura Adams and Ellen Ryan, both of Philadelphia, Pam Clark of Palmyra and Vicki Branch of the state of Alabama; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James and Tom Davis; and one sister, Sally DePae.
Mr. Davis attended the Palmyra schools and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Woodland. He was a set-up specialist for Pace Industries of Monroe City, where he had worked for some 20 years.
Pallbearers will be Billy Powell, Mike McNeil, Robbie Watson, Jimmy Davis, Rodney Crager and David Powell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rex Benge, Jamie Davis, Matt Maziarka, Rick Maziarka, Billy Joe Griffin III, Corey Hines and Aron Hines.
Arnett Wise
Shelbina
Sept. 22, 1931 - June 7, 2004
SHELBINA - Arnett Wise, 72, of Shelbina, passed away at 5:20 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2004, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 10, at the Christian Church in Shelbina. Jim Bilbro will officiate. Burial, with military rites at graveside by the Shelbina American Legion Post 376, will be at Shelbina Cemetery-Northlawn addition.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, June 9, at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina.
Arnett was born Sept. 22, 1931, in Macon County, the son of Vern and Edyth Copenhaver Wise.
He was united in marriage to Betty Brown on May 13, 1961, in Moberly. She survives.
Other survivors include four sons, Kenny Wise and wife, Patty, of Moberly, David Wise of Charlotte, N.C., Mark Wise and wife, Valerie, of Cramerton, N.C., and Chris Wise and wife, Ruthie, of Shelbina; one daughter, Shelly Yost and husband, Lance, of Shelbina; 13 grandchildren, Courtney, Nicole, Andrew and Eric Wise, all of Moberly, Farren, Kelsey, Cody and Logan Wise, all of Shelbina, Nathan and Brittany Yost, both of Shelbina, Marcus and Madeleine Wise, both of Cramerton, N.C., and Danielle Wise of Charlotte, N.C.; five stepgrandchildren, Tanner and Laci Beavers, both of Huntsville, and Cody, Christy and Shelby Thorne, all of Moberly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Wise; one sister, Judith Waller; and one grandson, Matthew Wise.
Arnett graduated from Clarence High School in 1949. He served in the U.S.. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Shelbina Christian Church, the Shelbina American Legion, Chamber of Commerce and Shelbina Lions Club. He was the American Family Insurance agent in Shelbina for 25 years. He was a past member of the South Shelby Booster Club, Westran Booster Club and served as a Shelbina City alderman. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Memorials may be made to the Shelbina Christian Church, the Shelby County R-IV Life Skills Center or the Shelbina Lions Club Baseball/Softball Association.
Wayne Stanley Killebrew
Durham
Nov. 7, 1913 - June 5, 2004
EWING - Wayne Stanley Killebrew, 90, of Durham, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2004, at La Belle Manor Care Center in La Belle.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 10, at the Ball-Davis Funeral Home in Ewing. The Rev. Hagood will officiate. Burial will be at Durham Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, June 9, at the funeral home.
Mr. Killebrew was born Nov. 7, 1913, in rural Durham to Stanley Watt and Iva Dee Killebrew.
He was first married to Helen Herzog in 1937. She has since passed. He was later married to Elma (Maud) Wood in 1942, in West Plains. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Ramona L. Kuntz of Monroe City; one son, Dr. Darrel W. Killebrew and wife, Delores, of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren, the Rev. Michael Killebrew of Durham, Tanya Killebrew of Tempe, Ariz., and Suzy Mae Killebrew of Phoenix; two great-grandchildren; two nephews; and several grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Killebrew.
Eugene Caldwell
Shelbina July 2, 1920 - June 7, 2004
SHELBINA - Eugene Caldwell, 83, of Shelbina, passed away at 1:51 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2004, at Moberly Regional Medical Center.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 13, at the Bowling Green Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Howard Manning will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bowling Green.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of services Sunday at the Kingdom Hall in Bowling Green.
The Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Caldwell was born July 2, 1920, in Ashburn to Claud and Flora Richardson Caldwell.
He was married to Julia Laura Biddle Caldwell on Jan. 4, 1941, in Hannibal. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Gary Caldwell and wife, Jackie, of Shelbina, and Ronald Caldwell and wife, Audrey, of Morgan City, La.; one daughter, Lana Huber and husband, Dean, of Bowling Green; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Kenneth Caldwell and Charles Caldwell; and two sisters, Flora Beaver and Edna Shive.
Mr. Caldwell was a Jehovah's Witness for 33 years. He farmed at New Hartford for 25 years and worked for the Pike County Road District for 22 years.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

VANDALIA - Clifford L. Berry Jr., 49, of Vandalia, died Sunday, June 6, 2004, in Columbia.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at Faith Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C., Vandalia. The Rev. Richard Smith will officiate. Burial will be at the Vandalia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of services Saturday at the church.
Waters Funeral Home in Vandalia is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Berry was born July 3, 1954, in Hannibal to Clifford L. Sr. and Bertie M. Allison Berry.
Survivors include his father of Clarksville; one son, Michael Berry of Columbia; two daughters, Krysta Smith of Vandalia and Summer McPike of Columbia; five sisters, Joyce Chatman and Brenda Perkins, both of Vandalia, Geraldine Starks of Columbia, Pamela Berry of Mexico and Barbara Mahaney of Montgomery City; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Mr. Berry served in the U.S. Army.
Charles F. Aldrich
New London
Dec. 13, 1924 - June 7, 2004
HANNIBAL - Charles F. Aldrich, 79, of New London, died at 11:20 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2004, at Willow Care Center in Hannibal.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 10, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. The Rev. John Hayes will officiate. Burial, with full military rites by Emmette J. Shields American Legion Post No. 55, will be at Centenary Cemetery in rural New London.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Aldrich was born Dec. 13, 1924, in Ralls County to Melvin S. and Katherine P. Starr Aldrich.
Survivors include a close friend, Missy Walker of New London; one sister, Mattie J. Lewallen of Hannibal; one uncle, Buster Starr of Charles City, Iowa; longtime employer and friend, Martha Northcutt; nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Rose Marie Couch and Margie Ocheltree; and one great-niece.
Mr. Aldrich was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He served in the 27th Infantry, receiving two bronze stars while serving in the South Pacific and Philippines. Mr. Aldrich worked on the Northcutt farm for over 54 years. He led a full and healthy life prior to his recent illness. His last medical attention was in 1944, when he was hospitalized in the Philippines for malaria. He was a Christian by faith. He enjoyed farming and lived his entire life in the Centenary Cemetery area where he was born and raised.
Memorial contributions may be made to Centenary Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tom Lewallen, John D. Northcutt, Mark Northcutt, John Shrum, Rick Latas and Bob Dimitrijevich.
Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Clark, Bill Northcutt, Andy Babyak, Rocky Akright and James S. Aldrich III.

HANNIBAL - Charles T. Hill, 78, of Hannibal, died at 3:51 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal.
