Dear aunt, goddaughter and friend to many.

Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 9, at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 676 W. Lockwood Ave., Webster Groves. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 10, at Gerber Chapel, 23 W. Lockwood Ave., Webster Groves.

Memorials may be made to the Sondra Kay Sharpe Trust Fund, 8801 Frost Ave., Berkeley, Mo. 63134.

Harold R. (Hal) Hesse
Rocheport Jan. 30, 1935 - June 7, 2004

COLUMBIA - Harold R. (Hal) Hesse, 69, of Rocheport, died Tuesday, June 7, 2004, at his home.

There will be no services.

The Nilson Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hesse was born Jan. 30, 1935, in Farber to Harold P. Hesse and LaVerne L. Allen Hesse-Whitesides.

Survivors include one brother, Theodore A. Hesse of Vandalia; one sister, Patricia Ann Daly of LaPorte, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hesse was a Korean War veteran, a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism and a Buddist monk.

Eric Andrew Myers
Columbia
March 31, 1975 - June 5, 2004

MEMPHIS - Eric Andrew Myers, 29, of Columbia and formerly of Hannibal, died Saturday, June 5, 2004, at University Hospitals and Clinics in Columbia.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 10, 2004, at the First Baptist Church in Memphis. Pastors Jeff Ables and Dan Blakeslee will officiate. Burial will be at the Edinburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, June 9, at the Gerth Funeral Home in Memphis, with the family greeting friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Mr. Myers was born March 31, 1975, in Memphis, the son of Roy Thomas Myers III and Kathy Fehlhaber Myers.

Survivors include his children, Lexie and Griffen Myers of Arbela; his father, Tom, and wife, Jean Myers, of Memphis; his mother, Kathy, and husband, Nick Bo Gannon of Hannibal; his stepfather, Tom Motley of Hannibal; brothers, R.T. Myers of Columbia, Curtis Ebeling of Memphis and Chad Ebeling of New London, Iowa; sister, Cinda Barrett of Memphis; grandmother, Ruth Myers of Memphis; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Tom and Helen Fehlhaber and Roy Thomas Myers Jr.

Mr. Myers was a graduate of Hannibal High School.

Memorials are suggested to a trust fund to be set up for his children, in care of Tom Myers. Contributions may be mailed to or left at Gerth Funeral Service, 115 S. Main, Memphis, Mo. 63555.

Gary J. Waack
Curryville
May 25, 1983 - June 5, 2004

MONROE CITY - Gary Jerome Waack, 21, of Curryville and formerly of Hunnewell, died Saturday, June 5, 2004, at his home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 10, at Garner Funeral Chapel in Monroe City. The Revs. Don Amelung and Rick Smith will officiate. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Hunnewell.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, at the funeral chapel.

Mr. Waack was born May 25, 1983, in Hannibal to Bruce A. Waack and Roberta Smoot.

He is survived by his mother, Roberta Kirtlink and husband, Jack, of Frankford; his father, Bruce A. Waack and wife, Connie, of Paris; two brothers, Brandon Waack and Stephen Kirtlink, both of Frankford; one sister, Heather Waack of Frankford; one stepbrother, Christopher Smith of Guam; four stepsisters, Jessica and Amanda Kirtlink of Higbee and Amanda and Megan Smith of Paris; maternal grandparents, John and Carolyn Smoot of Hunnewell; and paternal grandmother, Carlene Waack of Shelbina.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobbe Lee Waack; great-grandmother, Lela Utterback; great-grandmother, Louise Wellman; and stepgreat-grandmother, Vivian Moad.

Mr. Waack graduated from Bowling Green High School with the class of 2001. He later graduated from the Lincoln Tech Institute in Indianapolis, Ind., with a degree in auto mechanics. He was an employee of Tru Manufacturing Co. of Mexico, Mo. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, racing and spending time with his family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Gary Waack Memorial Fund, in care of Marion County Mutual Savings Bank or the Brother and Sister Educational Fund.

Pallbearers will be Mike Randolph, Barry Brown, Craig Thomas, Josh Utterback, Jason Pine and C.J. West.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan McCallister, Gary Hamilton, Ryan Raby, John Schindler and Jordan McCallister.

Delores Geraldine Mabry
Clarksville
Feb. 10, 1943 - June 7, 2004

CLARKSVILLE - Delores Geraldine Mabry, 61, of Clarksville, died Monday, June 7, 2004, at her home.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 10, at the Collier Funeral Home in Clarksville. The Rev. Randall Cone will officiate.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mabry was born Feb. 10, 1943, near Wellsville to Marvin and Edna Odon Dodd.

She was married to Richard Wayne Mabry on Nov. 13, 1959, in Wellsville. He survives.

Other survivors include one son, Brian Wade Mabry of Hilo, Hawaii; one daughter, Shelly Jo McBride of Clarksville; two grandchildren, Taralee Jo Mabry of Hilo and Tericka Leigh Pearl of Clarksville; three brothers; and four sisters.

She was preceded in death by one son, Bruce Alan Mabry; and her parents.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.

William Edward White
 Louisiana
March 7, 1954 - June 6, 2004

 Louisiana - William Edward White , 50, of  Louisiana, died Sunday, June 6, 2004, at St. Luke's Hospital West in Chesterfield.

His remains will be cremated.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 11, at the Collier Funeral Home in  Louisiana.

Mr. White was born March 7, 1954, in St. Louis to Lawrence J. and Frances Elizabeth Cole White .

He was married to Rosalie Ann Meyers on June 24, 1973, in  Louisiana. She survives.

Other survivors include one son, Michael White of  Louisiana; and one daughter, Marie White of  Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by parents.

Mr. White had been employed as service manager for Rick's Small Engine Repair in  Louisiana and as a school bus driver for the  Louisiana School District. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Army.

Memorials may be made to the family, in care of the funeral home.

Robert Isaac Shirley

HANNIBAL - Robert Isaac (Bob) Shirley, 23, of Hull, Ill., died at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 2004, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Ill.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 7918 Route MM, west of Hannibal. Burial will follow at Akers Cemetery near Hull.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 11, at Smith Funeral Home and Chapel in Hannibal.

Lissa A. Ingerslew
Seward, Neb.
July 28, 1906 - May 30, 2004

SEWARD, Neb. - Lissa Antoinette Madsen Ingerslew, 97, of Seward, Neb., passed away Sunday, May 30, 2004, in Seward.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 3, at Seward United Methodist Church in Seward. The Rev. Rod Lyon officiated. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in Seward.

The Wood-Zabka Funeral Home in Seward was in charge of arrangements.

Lissa was born July 28, 1906, in Copenhagen, Denmark, to Mads Anton and Ane Marie Jensen Madsen. She attended 12 years of school in Denmark and later immigrated to the United States.

Lissa was united in marriage to the Rev. John Peter Lauritsen Ingerslew on Sept. 20, 1929, in Kansas City, Mo. To this union one son was born, Neill, in 1934.

The couple served Methodist churches in Missouri, retiring in 1960. They moved to Seward in 1982. Lissa was a member of the Seward United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, a former member of WSCS (Women's Society of Christian Service), was active in the life of the church and enjoyed singing in the choir.

Preceding Lissa in death were her husband, the Rev. John Peter Lauritsen Ingerslew in 1985; her son, Neill D. Ingerslew in 2003; her parents, Mads and Ane Marie Madsen; sisters, Betty Madsen and Jenny Esbensen; brother, Svend Madsen; brother-in-law, Jens Pedersen; and stepchildren, Donald Ingerslew, John Ingerslew and Ruth Young Ward.

Lissa is survived by her daughter-in-law, Shirley Ingerslew of Seward; four grandchildren and spouses, John and Sheila Ingerslew of St. Peters, and Susan and Richard Thomas, Cheryl Ingerslew, and Nancy and Craig Wisehart, all of Seward; seven great-grandchildren; stepdaughter, Lillie Hollabaugh Rhame of Nashville, Tenn.; stepgrandchildren; stepgreat-grandchildren; stepgreat-great-grandchildren; her sister, Gudrun Mortensen of Copenhagen, Denmark; and other relatives and friends.
