Memorial services are at a later date for Dennis Carl Fitts, 50, of Merrill, Wisc., who died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, in Carriere.

A native of Merrill, he was a radio announcer and a Presbyterian.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Betty Fitts of Merrill; and a brother, Thomas Fitts of Carriere.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Tomeka Raine Griffin

Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005 at Hart Chapel Baptist Church in Poplarville for Tomeka Raine Griffin, 34, of Wiggins who died Tuesday, Dec. 28 in New Orleans, La.

The Rev. George Tillman will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Hart Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.

A native of Poplarville, she was a member of Hart Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, D'Ajia Raine of Poplarville; her step-father and mother, John and Lillie Cotton of Poplarville; her father, Roosevelt Raine Sr. of ElDorado, Kan.; three sisters, Rondlyn Hudson, Connie Patton and Eskaletha Woods, all of Poplarville; and one brother, Roosevelt Raine Jr. of Poplarville .

Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 1 at Hart Chapel Baptist Church.

Tommie Ruth McNeese

Services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004 at First Baptist Church in Vancleave for Tommie Ruth McNeese, 82, of Gautier who died Friday, Dec. 24 at the Subacute Center in Ocean Springs.

Burial was in Byrd's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery in Carriere under the direction of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs.

A native of Brad and a former resident of Bogalusa, La. and the White Sands community, she was a former member of White Sands Baptist Church and a member of Byrd's Chapel Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, William H. McNeese; one daughter, Beth Foil; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation was from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28 at First Baptist Church in Vancleave.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Alzheimer Foundation, 322 8th Ave., 6th Floor, New York, N.Y. 10001.

Helen Loretta Peyton

Graveside services are at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2004 at New Palestine Cemetery in Picayune for Helen Loretta Peyton, 79, of Carriere who died Wednesday, Dec. 29 in Carriere.

The Rev. Joey Tatum will officiate at the service. Burial will be under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of West County, Va., she was a sales clerk.

Survivors include one daughter, Regina McKie of Carriere; one sister, Zerna Felts of Virginia; three brothers, Glenn Dunford and Hubert Dunford, both of Virginia and Randolph Golden of North Carolina; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.

Lola LaDelle Stewart

Services are at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31 at New Palestine Baptist Church in Picayune for Lola LaDelle Stewart, 84, of Picayune who died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004 in Gulfport.

The Rev. R.T. Buckley will officiate at the service, assisted by the Rev. Gary Roberts. Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Poplarville, she was a teacher and a member of New Palestine Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Rayborn of Picayune and Gaye Stewart of Gulfport; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30 at McDonald Funeral Home and from 9-10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31 at New Palestine Baptist Church.

Nunzio Columbus

Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005 at Liberty Cemetery in Williamstown, Mo. for Nunzio Columbus, 95, of Corpus Christi, Texas who died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at Trisun Nursing Home in Corpus Christi.

Burial is under the direction of Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, Mo.

A native of Long Island City, N.Y. and formerly of the Wyaconda, Mo. area, he was a plumber in Babylon, Long Island City, farmed in Wyaconda and enjoyed gardening and fishing.

Survivors include seven daughters, Isabelle Stevenson and Domenica Rose Columbus, both of Picayune, Mary Chevalier of Monticello, N.Y., Ann Lewis of Florida, Lena C. Nemec of Corpus Christi, Catherine Luvetta of Fort Madison, Iowa and Janet Mae Alva Columbus of Lake Charles, La.; and nine sons, James Columbus of Palm Coast, Fla., Joseph Columbus of Deer Park, Long Island, N.Y., Theodore Columbus of Florida, Thomas Columbus of Sebastian, Fla., Albert Columbus of Keokuk, John Columbus of Middle Island, N.Y., Peter Columbus of Margate, Fla., Joseph Columbus of Texas and Samuel Columbus of Naples, Ill.

Visitation is 4 p.m. with the family meeting with friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005 at Vigen Memorial Home.

Franklin W. Hendricks

Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005 at Little Black Creek Baptist Church in Lumberton for Franklin W. Hendricks, 62, of Lumberton who died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004.

Bro. Jessie Ladner officiates at the service. Burial is in Little Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of White Funeral Home.

A lifelong resident of Lumberton, he attended Little Black Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Ruth Hendricks of Lumberton; three daughters, Pamela Cobb of Lumberton, Tracy Cuevas of Hattiesburg and Cindy McElhenney of Purvis; three sisters, Gearoleen Gamble of Taylorsville, Jeanette Parker of Purvis and Pat Hathorn of Petal; two brothers, Wyndal Hendricks of Hazelhurst and Grady Hendricks of Lumberton; and 14 grandchildren.

Visitation is 6-10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31 at Little Black Creek Baptist Church.

Doy Faye Adams

Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005 at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia for Doy Faye Adams, 71, of Columbia who died Tuesday, Jan. 11 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

The Rev. Dr. Wayne Vanhorn will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home.

A native of Pearl River County, she was a secretary and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Debbie Hahn of Greensboro, N.C., Donna Prejean of Columbia and Denise Stewart of Nashville, Tenn.; three sons, Dennis Adams of Columbia, Dwayne Adams of Nashville and Darius Adams of Orlando, Fla.; one brother, Eric Cooper of Metairie, La.; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation was from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12 at Colonial Funeral Home.

L. Faye Bilbo

Services are at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2005 at White Funeral Home in Poplarville for L. Faye Bilbo, 70, of Carnes who died Tuesday, Jan. 11 in Hattiesburg.

Dr. Wiley Able, the Rev. Floyd McKelveen and Buford Wright will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Poplarville under the direction of White Funeral Home.

She was retired from Bancorp South and a member of the Homemakers (Hummingbird) Club in Wiggins and First Baptist Church of Wiggins.

Survivors include her husband, Rupert Bilbo of Carnes; one daughter, Sandy Faye Bilbo of Suwanee, Ga.; three brothers, Jervis Lee of Lumberton, Dervon Lee and Darrell of Carnes; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13 at White Funeral Home in Poplarville.

Rickey C. Richardson

Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005 at St. Matthew Baptist Church for Rickey C. Richardson, 51, of Picayune who died Monday, Jan. 10 at Crosby Memorial Hospital.

The Elder Jackie Herd will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Picayune City Cemetery under the direction of Craft Funeral Home.

A native of Picayune, he was a factory worker.

Survivors include his mother, Johnnia M. Williams of Picayune; his father, Brady Richardson of Picayune; his step-mother, Mary Helen Richardson of Picayune; one daughter, Jacqueline White of Picayune; one son, Marcia K. Simmons of Picayune; three sisters, Valerie Davis and Nichole Williams, both of Picayune and Cynthia Davis of Riverdale, Ga.; four brothers, Roderick Williams, Brady Richardson Jr. and Terry Williams, all of Picayune and Andre Richardson of Maryland; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 at St. Matthew Baptist Church.
