BELZONI — Funeral services for Charlie Mae Hamlin, 71, of Belzoni will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Little Mt. Zion MB Church, Silver City. She died of heart failure Jan. 27, 2002, at her home. Burial will be in Little Mt. Zion Cemetery, Silver City, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Belzoni.
Survivors include four sons, Eddie Leon Grayer of Omaha, Neb., Windell Wren of Waukegan, Ill., Charlie Wren Jr. of Jackson, Mich., and John Otha Dortch of Chicago; eight daughters, Avon Norwood, Shirley Wren and Alice Louvenia Jiles, all of Chicago, Alice Bullock of Belzoni, Johnnie Mae Norman of Decatur, Gloria Brown of Decatur, Ala., Dorothy Jean Robinson of Pittsburgh, Mary Ella Love of Milwaukee; five brothers, Jake Hamlin and Adam Hamlin, both of Chicago, and Nash Hamlin, Willie Hamlin and Larry Bullock, all of Louise; and six sisters, Ollie Mae Taylor, Listine Hamlin, Crecy Hamlin and Emma Fountain, all of Chicago, Maxine Hatchett and Pearlie Lambert, both of St. Louis, Mo.
Visitation will be Monday from noon to 5 p.m., with family hour from 6 to 7 p.m., at Smith Funeral Home chapel, Belzoni.

Johnson
GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Charlotte S. Johnson, 77, of Greenville will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mercy Seat MB Church, Greenville. She died Jan. 26, 2002, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Mt. Galilee Church Cemetery, Ruleville, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Greenville.
Survivors include three brothers, Harrison Walker of Tunica, Joseph McNeal of Indianapolis and L.C. McNeal of Chicago; and one sister, Dorothy Seals of Ruleville.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Johnson
GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Tara Rena Johnson, 28, of Greenville will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Ararat MB Church, Greenville. She died Jan. 24, 2002, at her home. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Greenville, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.
Ms. Johnson was a member of the T.L. Weston High School graduating class of 1992. She was preceded in death by a brother, Isaac Johnson III of Greenville; and her maternal grandmother, Rosie Harper, and maternal grandfather, Taylor Harper, both of Scott.
Survivors include a daughter, Chardreka R. Johnson of Greenville; a son, Tenarius R. Johnson of Greenville; her parents, Ida and Isaac Johnson Jr. of Greenville; her paternal grandparents, Isaac Johnson Sr. of Metcalfe and Alberta Johnson of Greenville; four sisters, Jacqueline Harper, Lazetta Johnson and Deloris (Jerome) Jackson, all of Greenville, and Pamela Boston of Nashville, Tenn.; two brothers, Cornell (Yolanda) Harper and Fernail (Eleisha) Williams, both of Greenville; 12 aunts including a special aunt, Shirley King of Greenville; six uncles; a special cousin, Devin Kennedy of Greenville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be today from 1 to 5 p.m., with family hour from 6 to 7 p.m., at Redmon Funeral Home chapel, Greenville.

INDIANOLA — Funeral services for the Rev. J.M. Kimble, 84, of Indianola will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at New Hope First Baptist Church, Greenville. He died Jan. 26, 2002, at South Sunflower County Hospital, Indianola. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Garden, Indianola, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Indianola.
Survivors include one son, the Rev. Robert (Carol) Kimble of Cleveland; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 6 p.m. at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola.

McGary
LELAND — Funeral services for Christine Webb McGary, 67, of Leland will be Saturday at noon at Old White Stone MB Church, Helm. She died Jan. 25, 2002, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville, after a lengthy illness. Burial will be in Old White Stone MB Church Cemetery under the direction of Dillon Funeral Home, Leland.
Christine Webb McGary was born Dec. 19, 1934, in Cary, Miss., to the late Willie and Maude Webb.
She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and became a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church of Sharkey County, where she also attended school. She later joined the Old Morning Star Church under the leadership of the late Rev. E.L. Young.
She is survived by four sons, Henry (Minnie) Webb of Arcola, James (Jackie) McGary of Winterville, Matthew McGary of Leland and Andrew McGary of Memphis; four daughters, Jamesetta Nunn of Greenville, Brenda (Lee) Montgomery of South Bend, Ind., Christine Leseur of West Memphis, Ark., Clara (Alan) Johnson of Lexington, Tenn.; one brother, Robert Webb of Chicago; three sisters, Alicestine Chilous of Leland, Lucille Morris of Wayside and Doris Groth of Chicago; 27 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and 13 children whom she and her late husband, James McGary, raised, Lillie B. Webb of Greenwood, L.C. Webb and Woodrow Webb, both of Arcola, Guenda Keithley and Teresa Keithley, both of Indianola, Johnny (Luvenia) Johnson of Leland, Betty Johnson Townsend and Alisa Johnson, both of Jacksonville, Fla., Cathy (Jerry) Snipes and Allen Webb, both of Leland, Dewayne Johnson of Arcola, Floyd Keithley, who were special caregivers, and Tanesha Johnson of Arlington, Va.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 5 p.m., with family hour from 6 to 7 p.m., at Dillon Funeral Home, Leland.

Miller
CORINTH — Funeral services for Willie Frances Miller, 79, of Corinth will be today at 3 p.m. at McPeters Funeral Home chapel, Corinth. She died Jan. 30, 2002, at Magnolia Regional Health Center, Corinth. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Park, Corinth.
Mrs. Miller was born in Corinth on July 1, 1922, to the late William Franklin and Ruth Bell Jobe Moore. She was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church. She retired from the Alcorn County school system, and was associated with Biggersville School. She enjoyed cooking and sharing with her friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Kay Jolly and husband Jack of Corinth, and Amanda Reed and husband Charles of Avon; five grandchildren, Jeff Jolly, Brandon Jolly, Eric Jolly, William Thomas Reed and Mary Frances Reed.
The Rev. Charles Reed and Brother Brandon Jolly will officiate.
Nicholson
BELZONI — Funeral services for Mary Aline Nicholson, 78, of Belzoni will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Sanders-Byas Funeral Home chapel, Hollandale. She died Jan. 29, 2002, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Sanders Memorial Gardens, Hollandale.
Survivors include one son, Robert Nicholson of Lake Village, Ark.; one daughter-in-law, Louise Nicholson of Belzoni; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 6 p.m. at Sanders-Byas Funeral Home, Hollandale.

Ellis
GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Albert R. Ellis, 59, of Greenville will be today at 4 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home chapel, Greenville. He died of respiratory failure June 1, 2002, at The King's Daughters Hospital, Greenville. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery.
Mr. Ellis was born Aug. 26, 1942, in Vaiden, Miss, to the late William and Sarah Ellis. He was raised in Vaiden, where he attended Vaiden public schools. He was a three-year U.S. Army veteran and a four-year U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving in Cuba and Vietnam.
He had been a resident of Greenville since 1966 where he worked at Greenville Paint and Glass Company for 32 years until ill health forced him to retire in 2000. He was co-founder and charter member of the Washington County Girls Softball Association, and he was also a coach of that league. He was a member of New Life Church of God in Greenville.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and James Williams of Hernando, Miss., and Tracie and Greg Kuntz of Long Beach, Miss.; five brothers, Charles Ellis and George Ellis, both of Vaiden, Miss., Wayne Ellis of Meridian, Miss., William Ellis of Georgia and James Ellis of Jackson, Miss.; four sisters, Elaine Ellis of Vaiden, Miss., Myrtle Monk of Greenwood, Miss., Mary Burges of Pascagoula, Miss., and Bitsy Yelverton of Burns, Miss.; and two grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Kuntz and Austin Williams.
Visitation will be today from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home.
Bill Watts, Bill Gordon, Noel Strickland, Lewis Freeman, Nolan Headley and Scott Williams will serve as pallbearers.
