Laurel Helen Bissell Harris

Funeral services for Mrs. Laurel Helen Bissell Harris, 69, of Sallis will be held Saturday, May 31, at 1 p.m. at Southern Funeral Home in Durant.

Mrs. Harris, a native of New York, died May 26, 2008 at her residence.

She was a registered nurse at District II Hospital in Durant.

She was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a son, Aaron Jenkins and his wife Laura of Sallis; a brother, Thomas Bissell of Florida; grandchildren, Wayne Shaffer, Jennifer Shaffer and Laurel Jenkins.

She was preceded in death by husbands Bobby Love Jenkins and Kenneth L. Harris; a son, Amon Harris; a brother, Larry Bissell; a sister, Trudy Bradley.

Rev. Thomas Wicker will officiate.

Visitation will be from noon until service time.

Juanita Dotson Sims

Services for Mrs. Juanita Dotson Sims, 71, of Kosciusko were held May 17 at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Hill M.B. Church with burial in the Church Cemetery.

She died May 10, 2008 at the Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

Myricks Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Thomas "Tom" B. Marshall

Funeral services for Thomas B. “Tom” Marshall, 66, of Sallis will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m.

Burial will be in Lima, Ohio.

Marshall, retired from J.A.M. Mowing, died April 14, 2008 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.

He was a native of Ohio, and a Baptist.

He is survived by his wife, Jocelyn B. Marshall of Sallis; two sons, Tommy Marshall of Thailand and Brian Williams of Kosciusko; two daughters, Kelly Ables of Kosciusko and Tracey Clack of Gluckstadt; a sister, Sara Gross of Lima; eight grandchildren.

Rev. Jerry Meggs will officiate.

Lovie Hodges Gray

Funeral services for Mrs. Lovie Hodges Gray, 91, of Southaven will be held Saturday, April 5, at 1 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until service time.

Burial will be in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with Dr. Gerald Lord officiating.

Mrs. Gray died March 29, 2008 at Baptist Hospital Desoto in Southaven.

She was born June 30, 1916 in the Salem Community of Attala County to Edgar and Effie Pender Hodges.

She graduated from high school in Drew in 1934, and immediately entered nurses training in Hattiesburg where she graduated in 1937.

She worked in Hattiesburg until 1940 when she married Robert Gray and moved to Baton Rouge, La.

In 1955 Lovie and Robert moved to Denham Springs and lived there until 2006.

She retired from nursing in 1978.

She is survived by her brother Donald Lord and his wife Verna of Olive Branch; step brother, Frank Lord of Raymond; nieces Donna Lord of Olive Branch and Diane Samuelsen and her husband Craig of Westfield, Mass.; great-niece, Sonia Samuelsen Ericson and her husband, Miles of Granville, Mass.; great- nephews Aubrey and Kirk Samuelsen of Westfield, Mass.; step nephews, Dr. Gerald Lord and his wife Joan of Atlanta, and Leslie Lord of Oakton, Va.; cousins Faye Townsend, Loree Cook and Rudolph Hodges of Kosciusko, Marie Hodges Stonestreet of Clarksdale and Ruth Hodges King of Oxford.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marvin Chapel Cemetery Perpetual Fund, Belva Cagle, treasurer, 14686 Highway 43 north, Kosciusko, Miss. 39090-9316.

Phillip McGee

Funeral services for Phillip McGee, 55, of Durant will be held Saturday, March 20, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Durant.

McGee, a logger, died March 14, 2010 at the University Medical Center in Jackson.

Winters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Beatrice Cain

Services for Mother Beatrice Cain, 85, of Milwaukee, Wis., will be held Monday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at Winters Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Barlow Cemetery.

Mrs. Cain, a retired custodian, died March 12, 2010 in Milwaukee.

Marie Favre

Marie Ladner Warren Favre, 78, of Pass Christian, died Wednesday, April 5, 2006 in Pass Christian.

She was a member of Lady Auxiliary of the Kiln Post 6285, native and lifelong resident of Harrison County.

She retired from Stuffed Shirt Industries and was Catholic. Beloved mother, grandmother and everybody's maw-maw.

She is preceded in death by her late husband Charles Warren, Sr., infant son, Douglas Wesley Warren, great grandchild, Draven Archer, sister, Lois Cuevas, brother, Arthur J. Ladner, parents, Xavier Ladner and Lucretia Williams Ladner and late husband Francis "Tubb" Favre.

Mrs. Favre is survived by her son, Kenneth Ray Warren, Sr. and wife Marilyn of Pass Christian, grandchildren; Kenneth Warren Jr, and wife Robin of Pass Christian, Sheree Archer of Pass Christian, Devin Warren Antunica and husband Victor of Kiln, Jessica Warren of Dothan, AL, great grandchildren; Desiree Archer, Kenneth Warren, III, Alden Keel, Jr., and Jenna Antunica, great great grandchild, Jaylen Cain, sisters; Delia Wendling, of Bay St. Louis, Nora Ladner and husband Kerman of Gulfport, Eva Gay Cuevas and husband Nathan of Pass Christian, a brother, Willard Ladner and wife Cecile of Diamondhead, stepson, Drew Kirk Favre of Pineville, stepdaughter; Charlotte Banks, Diane Deschamp, Renee Necaise and Lisa Necaise all of Kiln, Tammy Rexroad, of Atmore, AL and Cindy Cuevas of Pineville, 31 step grandchildren and 24 step great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to send thanks to Odyssey Home Health Care. Visitation will be Sunday, April 9, 2006 at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Kiln Delisle Road Chapel, beginning at 6:00 with a scriptural reading at 7:00 p.m.

Prayer service, Monday April 10, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.

Gulf Coast Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.

Stephen Baudier

Stephen Paul Baudier, Jr, 91, of Gulfport, died December 11, 2005 in Gulfport.

Mr. Baudier was a native of New Orleans, LA and moved to the coast in 1937 after working at the New Orleans furniture factory.

He served in the US Army during WWII.

He owned S.P. Baudier Furniture Contractor for 68 years in the antique restoration business.

He restored antique furniture after Camille at Tullis-Toledano Manor, Beauvoir, Grasslawn, Gulf Park College and Longfellow House in Pascagoula.

He lived his life for his family and his work.

He was a member of St. John Catholic Church and will sadly be missed by family from Louisiana to Mississippi.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Stephen P. Baudier, Sr. and Louise Larose Baudier, a son, Stephen Baudier, III (Buddy) and a sister, Louise Olschner.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Elenora Hemmerling Baudier of Gulfport; daughter, Jean Baudier Smith and husband James of Gulfport; son, Robert Baudier and wife Anita of Hammond, LA.; a special member of the family, Lonnie Moore of Waveland; grandchildren, Debra Price and Mike of Woolmarket, Stephen P. Baudier, IV and wife Monette of Biloxi, Melinda Smith of Gulfport and Randall Baudier of Hammond; and nine great grandchildren, Michael Price, Jr., Casey Price, Stephen Davis Baudier, Shanna Baudier, Jason Cory Smith, Daniel Smith, Max Smith and Kaleigh & Kelsie Smith.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 14, 2005 from 6-8:00 p.m. in Monica Hall at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the church.

Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

The Family sends a heartfelt thanks to Trinity Hospice for their care.
