Funeral services for Mr. James "Jim" C. French, 57, were held at 2 p. m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Noxapater. Rev. Jimmy Collins officiated. Burial followed in Oak Grove Church Cemetery.
A resident of Noxapater, Mr. French was a retired supervisor from South Wire and served two years in the military during the Vietnam Conflict. He was born August 30, 1948 and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Noxapater. He was an early riser who enjoyed his job at Wells Church Furniture. He spent countless hours rebuilding the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Noxapater. He also enjoyed spending time with his family along with outdoor activities. Mr. French died June 10 in Noxapater.
Survivors include his wife Janette French of Noxapater; four daughters, Carol Fredrick of Cabot, AR, Jennifer Phillips of Lakeland, FL, Amy McLaughlin of Madison and Carolyn Wells of Noxapater; one son, Jeffrey Anthony of Noxapater; one brother Bill French and his wife, Jackie of Mountain Pine, AR; four grandchildren and four nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Charles Thomas, Jimmy Parker, Clifton Cockrell, Bobby Joe Smith, Tony Thomas, Larry Wells, Randy Thomas, Fred Tolan, Rex Henson.
Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church in Noxapater.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Faye Miller, 75, were held at 11 a. m. in the Nowell Funeral Home Chapel Louisville. Rev. Charles Maples officiated. Burial followed in Betheden in Winston County.
A resident of Louisville, Mrs. Miller was a retired clerk from the Department of Human Services. She was also a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Mrs. Miller died Monday, June 11, 2006 at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville.
Survivors include: two sons, Wayne Miller of Sturgis, Paul "Onion" Miller of Louisville; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Bobby Crowson, Matt Miller, Phillip Miller, Steven Miller, Aubrey Holder, and David Stewart.

Funeral services for Mrs. Odessa Lewis Mullins, 77, were held at Monday, June 12 at 10 a. m in John E. Stephens Chapel in Philadelphia. Rev. David Hardy officiated. Burial followed in Sandtown Cemetery in Philadelphia.
A resident of Philadelphia, Mrs. Mullins was a retired sewing machine operator at Garan Garment Factory. She was also a member of Burnside Baptist Church. Mrs. Mullins died Friday, June 9, 2006 at her home in Philadelphia.
Survivors include brother, Dewitt Lewis; children Diane, Rose, Eddie; two sister- in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Gary Lewis, Eddie McLaurin, Josh Edwards, Bryan Hailey, Mike Lewis, Larry Lewis, and Ronnie Lewis.

Funeral services for Mr. James Thomas Peterson , 43, will be held Wednesday, June 14 at 2 p. m. in the Coleman Funeral Home Chapel in Ackerman. Rev. Phil Fancher officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery near Louisville.
A native of Winston County, Mr. Peterson was employed by Mississippi State University in the Forestry Department and born July 19, 1962. He was also a member of Antioch Baptist Church near Louisville. Mr. Peterson died Monday, June 12, 2006 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.
Survivors include: mother, Katherine Dawkins McHann of Starkville; wife, Rebecca Oswalt Peterson of Sturgis; two sons, Justin Peterson and Tim Peterson both of Sturgis; and two daughters, Brittany Peterson and Jessica Peterson both of Sturgis.
Memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church or St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis.

Funeral services for Mrs. Odell Hoskins, 70, were held at 12 noon, Saturday, November 26, 2005, at Warren Church of God in Christ in Louisville. Elder Marcus Smith officiated. Burial followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
A native of Louisville, Mrs. Hoskins was a homemaker and a member of Warren Chapel Church of God in Christ of Louisville. Mrs. Hoskins died Saturday, November 19, 2005, at Oktibbeha County Hospital.
Survivors include her son, Sammie Hoskins of Louisville; six sisters, Patty Hopkins, Joyce Hathorn, and Jesse Mae Hoskins, all of Louisville, Betty Joe Eiland of Detroit, MI, and Diane Combs and Sarah White both of Chicago, IL; three brothers, Bobby Joe White of Louisville, and Alex White and Reginald White both of Helena, AR; and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Dempsey was an assistant school teacher in Louisville Public Schools and was a member of Wess Chapel Baptist Church in Louisville. Mrs. Dempsey died Monday, November 21, 2005, at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Dempsey of Louisville; one son, Matthew Dempsey of Louisville; mother, Martha Henry of Louisville; one sister, Melinda Ashmore of Louisville; one brother, Tim Henry of Louisville; and father and mother-in-law, Nobel and Grace Dempsey of Louisville.

Mrs. Clay was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Mrs. Clay died Tuesday, November 22, 2005, at the Winston County Nursing Home.
Survivors include her one daughter, Rosalee Everson of Madison, WI; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Littrell was a millwright with Georgia Pacific and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He was also a WWII US Army Veteran. Mr. Littrell died Tuesday, November 22, 2005, at the V. A. Nursing Home in Collins, MS.
Survivors include his two daughters, Billie Lynn Ward of Collins, MS, and Penny Riser of Purvis, MS; three sons, Paul Littrell of Louisville, Stacey Littrell of Louisville, and Mark Littrell of Edinburg, MS; one sister, Pearl Blaine of Louisville, MS; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. John Joseph Mamrak, Sr. , 84, were held at 10:00 A. M. Friday, November 25, 2005, at New Zion Baptist Church. Sister Alies Therese officiated. Burial followed at South Union Methodist Church in Ackerman.
A resident of Florida who recently moved to Weir, MS, Mr. Mamrak was a baker and a member of The Church of Little Flower in Hollywood, FL. He also served in the US Army during WWII. Mr. Mamrak died Tuesday, November 22, 2005.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Mamrak of Weir; two sons, Bob Mamrak of Weir and John Mamrak, Jr. , of New Port Richey, FL; one daughter, Donna Samacicio of Cumming, GA; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A native of Clay County, MS, Mr. Pate was a truck driver and a member of Old Montpelier Baptist Church. Mr. Pate died Tuesday, November 22, 2005, at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sue H. Pate of Louisville; mother, Mrs. Frances Pate of Houston, MS; four sons, Russ Pate, Jr. of Louisville, Ashley Kuhn of West Point, MS, Brant Kuhn of Jackson, and Kerry Kuhn of Jackson; three sisters, Annette Vest of West Point, MS, Meriam Jones of Cedar Bluff, MS, and Roxie Brock of Montpelier, MS; two brothers, Mack Pate, Jr. , of Hamilton, MS, and Roy Lee Pate of Montpelier, MS; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ms. Mona Fern Williamson Warren were held at 2:00 P. M. Sunday, November 27, 2005, from John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Keith Fulton officiating. Interment was in Sand Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Warren, 72, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2005, at her family residence. She was a clerical worker for Whitfield Mississippi State Hospital. She retired in 1995, moving back to Philadelphia. Mrs. Warren was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Peggy Barfoot of Philadelphia and Marilyn Melton of Philadelphia; one sister, Billie M. Jones of Hamilton, MS; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Terry Jordan, Freddy Dorman, Kenny Tubby, Ronnie Asbill, Morisse Johnson, and Dennis Dontrich.

A native of Winston County, Mrs. Price was a retired employee of Spartus Corp. and was a member of Whitehall United Methodist Church. Mrs. Price died Friday, November 25, 2005, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include her husband, Kendall Hall Price of Louisville; one daughter, Cynthia Joy Price of Ridgeland, MS; and one son, Kenney Hall Price of Ridgeland.
