Ms. Pinkey Eliza Turnipseed

Funeral services for Ms. Pinkey Eliza Turnipseed, 90, were held at New Era Missionary Baptist Church in Meridian, MS. Dr. Roderick L. Steele officiated.

A native of Vimville, MS, Ms. Turnipseed was a dedicated custodial worker at the United Blood Bank. She was a faithful member of the Missionary Society, Usher Ministry, and Choir of New Era Baptist Church. Ms. Turnipseed died Monday, October 17, 2005, at Riley Memorial Hospital in Meridian.

Survivors include her three sisters, Mary Jackson of Laurel, Annie Ruth Pigford of Laurel, and Daisy Mae Dean of Buffalo, NY.

Hampton Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Mavis Rickman Woodward

Funeral services for Mrs. Mavis Rickman Woodward, 81, were held at 11:00 A. M. Saturday, October 22, 2005, at First United Methodist Church in Louisville. Rev. Mike Childs and Rev. Chris Kiepe officiated. Burial followed in Masonic Cemetery.

A native of Lamar County, Alabama, Mrs. Woodward was a 1942 graduate of Lee High School in Columbus and attended MSCW. She worked for C&G Railroad for 8 years in Columbus and later retired as clerk for ASCS in Louisville. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church of Louisville. Mrs. Woodward died Thursday, October 20, 2005.

Survivors include her husband, George Woodward of Louisville; two sons, Larry Woodward of Louisville and Jimmy Woodward of Louisville; and four grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Methodist Church, P. O. Box 523, Louisville, or The Alzheimer's Association.

Mrs. Loreen Childs Fulcher

Funeral services for Mrs. Loreen Childs Fulcher, 82, were held at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, October 26, 205, at Rocky Hill United Methodist Church. Rev. Larry Haggard officiated. Burial followed in Rocky Hill Cemetery.

A native of Louisville, Mrs. Fulcher was a homemaker and active in United Methodist Women at her church, Rocky Hill United Methodist Church. Mrs. Fulcher died Sunday, October 23, 2005, at the Winston Medical Center.

Survivors include her husband, William M. "Bill" Fulcher of Louisville; two daughters, Judy Bagwell of Louisville and Brenda Hardesty of Collinsville, OK; four sons, Jerry Fulcher of Louisville, Dale Fulcher of Lousville, and Steve Fulcher of Oologah, OK; four sisters, Jewel Hill of Louisville, Erlene McQuinn of Gulfport, Elaine Childs of Houston, TX, and half-sister Ann Childs of Youngstown, FL; one brother, Jack Childs of Ducanville, TX; nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Rocky Hill Cemetery Fund.

Mrs. Grace Viola Sisson

Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Viola Sisson, 77, were held at 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, October 11, 2005, at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville. Rev. Melvin Chase officiated. Burial followed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

A native of Zenia, Ohio, Mrs. Sisson was a factory worker for a food company and a member of First United Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Sisson died Saturday, October 8, 2005, at the Winston Medical Center.

Survivors include her husband, Luther Sisson of McCool; two daughters, Patricia A. Dempsey of Louisville and Linda Roach of Columbus, OH; three sons, Freddy Pugh of Louisville, Roger Pugh of Wellston, OH, and Clifford Pugh of Wellston, OH; six sisters, Jane Basden of Colton, OH, Helen Nyktas of Toledo, OH, Florence Allbright of Colton, OH, Midge Leona of Jackson, OH, Rosie Ralph of Colton, OH, Beulah McKinsey, and Jeannie Howard of Caldwell, OH; two brothers, Richard Bright of Killeen, TX, and Jimmy Bright of Toledo, OH; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Joe Ann Westerfield Davis

Funeral services for Mrs. Joe Ann Westerfield Davis, 47, were held at 10:00 A. M. Friday, November 4, 2005, at God Cares Ministries in De Kalb, MS. Pastor Corey Watson officiated.

A native of De Kalb, Mrs. Davis was a member and active choir member of Watson Memorial Teaching Ministries of New Orleans. Mrs. Davis died Saturday, October 29, 2005, at Neshoba General Hospital in Philadelphia, MS.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin Davis; son, Marvis Davis, Jr. ; daughter, Markita Davis Brock; two sisters, Olivia Westerfield Mitchell of Stockton, CA, and Wanda Westerfield of New Orleans, LA; three brothers, James Russell Westerfield, Ricky Westerfield, and Jimmy Westerfield, all of New Orleans; and eight grandchildren.

Mrs. Ann Crowson Russell

Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Crowson Russell, 71, were held at 10:30 A. M. Tuesday, November 1, 2005, at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville. Rev. David Hardy and Rev. George "Butch" Pugh, Jr., officiated. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery.

A native of Winston County, Mrs. Russell was a homemaker and former employee of White's Auto. She also served on the Hospital Board and was a member of Union Ridge Baptist Church. Mrs. Russell died Sunday, October 30, 2005, at Oktibbeha County Hospital.

Survivors include her two daughters, Karen French of Starkville and Anita Lea of Lebanon, TN; one son, Dennis Russell of Hoover, AL; one sister, Dorothy Vickers of Sturgis, MS; two brothers, Noel Crowson of Fountaine, FL, and Jim Crowson of Smithville, NC; and three grandchildren.

A native of Louisville, Mrs. Brown was a homemaker. Mrs. Brown died Monday, October 31, 2005, at the Winston County Medical Center.

Survivors include her two daughters, Ruth Liddell of Louisville and Annie Joyce Griffin of Milwaukee, WI; two sisters, Susie Mae Mallett of West, MS, and Louise Ship of Detroit, MI; and two grandchildren.

Mr. Michheal Sherrod Eichelberger

Funeral services for Mr. Michael Sherrod Eichelberger, 17, were held at 2:00 P. M. Sunday, November 6, 2005, at Union Chapel M. B. Church in Louisville. Bishop J. R. Cockrell officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

A native of Louisville, Mr. Eichelberger was a twelfth grade student at Noxubee County High School in Macon. He was a member of Mount Pleasant #1 Missionary Baptist Church of Louisville. Mr. Eichelberger died in an automobile accident on Hwy. 45 in Macon on Monday, October 31, 2005.

Survivors include his parents, Earnest and Katherine Eichelberger; one sister, Portia Eichelberger of Macon; and maternal grandfather, Arthur Love.

Mrs. Marie Daly Maloney

Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Daly Maloney, 81, were held at 11:00 A. M. Thursday, November 3, 2005, from Holy Cross Catholic Church in Philadelphia. Father David Hamm officiated. Burial followed in Cedarlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia.

A native of Philadelphia and resident of Louisville, Mrs. Maloney was a graduate of St. Mary of the Pines High School in Chatawa, MS, and was a Catholic by faith. Mrs. Maloney died Monday, October 31, 2005, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville.

Survivors include her brother, F. R. (Rudy) Daly of Louisville, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Joe Daly, Barney Daly, Pat Daly, David Jolly, Bill Daly, Greg Fulton, Doug Daly, and Steve Jolly.

Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Mrs. Dede Carr Reich

Funeral services for Mrs. Dede Carr Reich, 97, were held at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at First United Methodist Church in Louisville. Rev. Prentiss Gordon and Rev. Mike Childs officiated. Burial followed in the Masonic Cemetery.

A native of Winston County, Mrs. Reich was a homemaker and a member of the Fortnightly Club and the Louisville Music Club. She was a member of the Ladies' Bible Class and was an organist at First Methodist Church for many years. Mrs. Reich died Monday, October 31, 2005, at the Winston County Nursing Home.

Survivors include her two nephews, Dickie McGraw and Sam Hopkins, and her niece, Alma Jean Cox.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Music Department, P. O. Box 523, Louisville, MS 39339.

Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley A. Goodin, 61, were held at 11:30 A. M. Saturday, November 5, 2005, from First Pentecostal Church of House, MS, with Rev. Barry Fulton and Rev. Daniel Haggard officiating. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Goodin was a homemaker and a member of First Pentecostal Church of House. Mrs. Goodin died Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at her residence.

Survivors include her two daughters, Debbie McAdory and Beverly Cumberland, both of Philadelphia, MS; two sons, Larry McCullough of Collinsville, MS, and David Troy Goodin of Philadelphia, MS; two brothers, William T. Roberson of Meridian, MS, and Glen Jerry Roberson of Lockport, LA; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Nelson Yates, Perry Glenn Fulton, Dale Fulton, Dustin Howard, Pete Bozeman, Ken Mitchell, Todd Lofton, and Ty Lofton.

Miss Theresa Boyd Liddell

A native of Louisville, Miss Liddell was a homemaker and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Louisville. Miss Liddell died Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at the Louisville Group Home.

Survivors include her adoptive parents, Melvin and Mary Liddell of Louisville, and three sisters, Michelle Pickett, Vanessa Parson, and Valerie Boyd, all of Detroit, MI.

Mrs. Waldine Haggard Triplett

A native of Winston County, Mrs. Triplett was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. Triplett died Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at the Winston Medical Center in Louisville.

Survivors include her four daughters, Janie Carr, Peggy Hailey, Elsie Ming, and Billie Triplett, all of Louisville; one son, Johnny Triplett of Columbus; four nieces, Carol Cordan of Columbia, SC, Carolyn Mayo of Louisville, Nadean Miles of Brandon, and Sharon Rodgers of Louisville; one nephew, Carvol M. Eaves of Louisville; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Johnson Carr, Allen Hailey, Malcolm Hailey, Chip Luke, Rocky Miles, Kylie Ming, Timmy Ming, Gage Parker, Greg Thomas, Brent Walton, and Brock Ward.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church of Louisville or Sta-Home In-Hospital Hospice.
