Funeral services for Mr. Glenn W. Ferguson, 65, were held at 3:00 P. M. Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at John E. Stephens Chapel. Rev. John Stephens officiated. Burial followed in Fellowship Cemetery in Philadelphia.

A resident of Philadelphia, Mr. Ferguson was a plumber and electrician. Mr. Ferguson died Sunday, April 2, 2006, at Neshoba General Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Margie Ferguson of Philadelphia; three daughters, Dianne Smith, Pam Kelly, and Vickie Gibbons, all of Philadelphia; two brothers, Wayne Tubby of Jackson, MS, and Michael Tubby of Philadelphia, MS; two sisters, Janette Huddelston of Duffy, MS, and Kathy Cole of McGee, MS; six brothers, Garland Ferguson of Louin, MS, and Terry Ferguson, Anthony Ferguson, Delin Ferguson, Dale Ferguson, and Danny Ferguson, all of McGee; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dale Gibbons, Leroy Sistrunk, Buddy Kelly, Dale Clark, David Clark, and Dustin Tubby.

John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services of Philadelphia was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Arthur Kennedy, Jr., of Detroit, Michigan, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2006, at St. John Detroit Riverview Hospital. Mr. Kennedy leaves behind his beloved wife of 28 years, Gloria; a son, Terrance; and a daughter, Jasmine. Services will be held Monday, April 10, 2006, at 11:00 A. M. at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. Viewing will be held Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Winters Funeral Home in Kosciusko, Mississippi.

Mrs. June Isabelle Peterson

Funeral services for Mrs. June Isabelle Peterson, 87, were held at 10:00 A. M. Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville. Rev. William Smith officiated. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Louisville.

A native of Betterfield, Minn., Mrs. Peterson was a nurse's aid for 20 years and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Louisville. Mrs. Peterson died Monday, April 3, 2006, at Mississippi Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS.

Survivors include her husband Jim Elliot Peterson; three daughters, Susan Rae Peterson of Foxboro, NC, Lynn Peterson Chamblee of Carthage, MS, and Denise Peterson Byrd of Louisville; one son, James Todd Peterson of Louisville; twin sister Junice Larson of Litchfield, MN; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Grace Christian School, 173 McLeod Road, Louisville, MS 39339 or the charity of the donor's choice.

Mrs. Inez Griffin Dempsey

Graveside services for Mrs. Inez Griffin Dempsey, 70, were held at 11:00 A. M. Thursday, April 6, 2006, at Welcome Chapel Jesus' Name Church of Louisville. Rev. Eddie Agnew officiated.

Mrs. Dempsey was a line worker at TRW and was a member of Welcome Chapel Jesus' Name Church. Mrs. Dempsey died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at her residence in Louisville.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Buford Dempsey of Louisville; five daughters, Sylvia Richardson of Louisville, Elsie Cumberland of Philadelphia; Virginia Roberts of Jackson; Cheryl Pollard of Pelahatchie and Janice Smith of Flora; two sisters, Annie Ruth McIntyre of Louisville and Orene Wilson of McCool; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Chris Dempsey, Kenneth Dempsey, Corey Richardson, Doug Richardson, Tony Richardson, and Craig Smith.

Nowell Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Delvin Donnell Glenn

Funeral services for Mr. Delvin Donnell Glenn, 39, were held at 2:00 P. M. Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Mt. Pleasant #1 Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville. Rev. William Haynes officiated. Burial followed in Eiland Cemetery.

A native of Louisville, Mr. Glenn was a laborer and a member of Mt. Pleasant #1 M. B. Church. Mr. Glenn died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, Georgia.

Survivors include his mother, Bertha Eiland; two sons, Brandon Carter and Devin Donnell Glenn, Jr., both of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Moneque Eiland of Cleveland, OH; three brothers, Marquess Ledbetter, Shun Maurice Eiland, and Torrence Tobias Eiland, all of Louisville; and maternal grandmother, Francis Doss.

Mrs. Aneda Faye Young

Funeral services for Aneda Faye Young were held Friday, April 7, 2006, at 10:00 A. M. from the First Church of God in Philadelphia. Rev. D. Keith Hall and Rev. Jim Daniel officiated. Burial was in Old Mars Hill Cemetery in Winston County.

Mrs. Young, 71, died Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at her home in Noxapater. She was born in Winston County where she made her home most of her life. She was a member of First Church of God in Philadelphia and was a retired seamstress for TRW.

Survivors include her husband, John Paul Young of Noxapater; one daughter, Paula Faye Harris of Weir; one son, Johnny Wade Young of Noxapater; two grandchildren and one great-grandson. Pallbearers were Jamie Flake, Tyler Coward, Chris Young, Mike Parker, Bill Fryery, Massey Kirk, Donny Todd, and Jeffrey Kirkland.

Ms. Jimmie Lucile Willis

Funeral services for Ms. Jimmie Lucile Willis, 94, were held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at John E. Stephens Chapel in Philadelphia. Rev. T. M. Roberts and Rev. Lloyd Adcock officiated. Burial followed in Sand Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia.

A resident of Philadelphia, Ms. Willis was a retired school cafeteria dietician and was a member of Christian Life Tabernacle Church. Ms. Willis died Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Leake Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Holdiness of Philadelphia; son, Billy Willis of Philadelphia; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were George Holdiness, Mack Holdiness, Jim Hill, J. R. Willis, Jimmy Sullivan, and Phillip Willis.

Mr. Arthur Richardson "Red" Rush

Funeral services for Mr. Arthur Richardson "Red" Rush, 83, were held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Preston, MS. Rev. Melvin Rush officiated.

A native of Kemper County, MS, Mr. Rush was employed at Weyerhauser, Inc., in Philadelphia, MS. He was a member and deacon of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Preston and was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Rush passed away Friday, April 7, 2006, at Riley Memorial Hospital in Meridian.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Clayborne Rush; and seven children, James Arthur, James Henry, Annie Diann, Shirley Ann, Charlotte, Mary Denise, and Antionette.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ira Moore Robbins, 60, were held at 2:00 P. M. Saturday, April 15, 2006, at St. James Presbyterian Church in Louisville. Rev. Calvin Triplett officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

A native of Louisville, Mrs. Robbins was a homemaker and a member of Christ King Baptist Church in Milwaukee, WI. Mrs. Robbins died Saturday, April 8, 2006, at her home in Milwaukee.

Survivors include her husband, Henry Preston Robbins; mother, Ella Moore of Louisville; two daughters, Tammy Robbins of Aguascalientes, Mexico, and LaTrisha Robbins of Milwaukee, WI; one son, Kirk Robbins of Houston, TX; three brothers, James Moore of Bay City, MI, and Howard Moore and David Moore of Louisville; and one grandchild.

Mrs. Alberta Harrison Triplett

Funeral services for Mrs. Alberta Harrison Triplett, 87, were held at 12 noon Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Friendship M. B. Church in Louisville. Rev. Billy Joe Clay officiated. Burial followed in New Prospect Cemetery.

A native of Louisville, Mrs. Triplett was a homemaker and a member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville. Mrs. Triplett died Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Regency Hospital in Meridian.

Survivors include her eight daughters, Annie Gragg of Milan, IL, Rosie McDonald of Waynesboro, MS, Marie Momon of Rock Island, IL, Necie McBride of East Moline, IL, Edna Nelson of Lexington, MS, Helen Glass of Louisville, Avis Higgins of Ft. Washington, MD, and Carnell Triplett of Austin, TX; two sons, Willie Triplett of Louisville and John Triplett of Las Vegas, Nevada; six sisters, Rosie Love and Ethel Thames of Louisville, Nancy Seals, Annie Moore, and Irmsaean Lyon of Philadelphia, and Georgia Nicholson of Gautier, MS; two brothers, Henry Harrison and Howard Harrison both of Omaha, NE; 19 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Mr. William Joseph Redmond, 77, will be held at a later date.

A resident of House, MS, Mr. Redmond was an electronics instructor and was retired from the U. S. Air Force. Mr. Redmond died Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at Guardian Angel Hospice in Marion, MS.

Survivors include his daughter, Linda Richard of Ocean Springs, MS; three step-sons, Donald Johnson of Alabama, James Mitchell of Georgia, and C. Robert Johnson of Hawaii; one sister, Jeanne Harr of Ivanhoe, CA; four brothers, Ralph Redmond of Tucson, AZ, Michael Redmond of Monticello, IA, Jerome Redmond of Collinsville, MS, and Garl Redmond of Memphis, TN; one grandchild, seven step-grandchildren, and twenty step-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Carrie York McClelland

Graveside services for Mrs. Carrie York McClelland, 85, were held at 10:30 A. M. Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Craig Springs Cemetery with Rev. Skeete Davis officiating.

A native of Sturgis, Mrs. McClelland attended Macon School and was a homemaker. She was also a member of Aberdeen Church of God. Mrs. McClelland died Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory, MS.

Survivors include her two daughters, Peggy Wood of Louisville and Mary Seely of Hamilton; one sister, Sara York of Macon; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jim York, Larry York, Randy York, Roy Seely, Allen Evans, and Zack Evans.

Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen was in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Thelma Maxine May

Funeral services for Ms. Thelma Maxine May, 76, will be held at 1:00 P. M. Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at John E. Stephens Chapel in Philadelphia. Rev. Daniel McFall and Rev. Dudley Winstead officiated. Burial followed in Good Hope Cemetery in Philadelphia.

A resident of Philadelphia, Ms. May worked for 32 years for Wells Lamont Corporation and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Ms. May died Saturday, April 15, 2006, at her family home.

Survivors include her three daughters, Frances May and Fay Savell of Philadelphia and Marie Barrier of Columbus; one son, Jerry May of Columbus; two sisters, Lavoy Gardner and Jewell Mitchell, both of Ft. Worth, TX; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Daniel Rivers, Edward Rivers, Dusty Barrier, Danny Matthew, Ben Haygood, Brad Savell, Willie Gardner, Brooks Barrier, and Jamie Savell.
