Corinth -- Tommy L. Burcham, 41, electrician for Wilbanks Electric, died Friday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at McPeters Funeral Home with burial in Corinth National cemetery. He was an Air Force veteran. He leaves two daughters, Christina Burcham and Stefanie Burcham, both of Tupelo, and three sisters, Martha Howell of Memphis, Janet Cox of Florence, Ala., and Theresa Derrick of Corinth. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Lung Association Mississippi Chapter.

Corinth -- Alanah M. Rutherford, infant daughter of Pamela Chapman Stubenrauch and William Rutherford, died Friday at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Palestine Missionary Baptist Church in Blue Mountain with burial in the church cemetery there. Ripley Funeral Home has charge. She also leaves a sister, Rebecca Stubenrauch, and two brothers, Nicholas Stubenrauch and Jacob Stubenrauch, all of Corinth, and her grandparents, Amel and Donna Norman of Walnut, Dennis Chapman of Booneville and Allie Johnson of Ripley.

Horn Lake -- Gavin Christopher Blackwell, 7-month-old son of Paula and Stephen Blackwell, died Wednesday at his home. Services were Saturday at Munford (Tenn.) Funeral Home with burial in Helen Crigger cemetery in Munford. He also leaves two brothers, Justin Childress and David Rainey, both of Horn Lake, and his grandparents, Galen and Brenda Blackwell of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Tom Mayhall of Baton Rouge and Ronnie and Deborah Benjamin Wilson of Memphis.

Mr. Godsey, the husband of Mary Ellen Teel Godsey, also leaves a daughter, Felicia Tipton of Colliervile; two sons, Jesse Wilber Godsey Jr. and Blair Godsey, both of Mount Pleasant; two sisters, Dorothy Pierce of Barton and Ruby Dyer of Lexington; a brother, James Tilber Godsey of Snow Lake, and three grandchildren.

Nesbit -- Mary Ann Taylor, 65, retired secretary and teller for Bank of Walls, died Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. She was a former volunteer for Walls Ambulance Service. Mrs. Taylor, the wife of Kenneth Wayne Taylor, also leaves a son, Tommy Taylor of Nesbit; two brothers, Jimmy Arnett of Florida and David Arnett of Nesbit, and two grandchildren.

Ripley -- Loyd Ellis Horton Jr., 83, former sheriff of Tippah County, co-owner of Gulf Oil Co. and Horton Feed Mill and operator of Mississippi Department of Transportation Scales, died Friday at North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Ripley Church of Christ, where he was a member, with burial in Tippah Memorial Gardens. He was a World War II Army veteran, a National Guard veteran and a member of the American Legion and Ripley Civitan Club. Mr. Horton, the husband of Hilda Akins Horton, also leaves two daughters, Chris Grisham and Mary Lynn Carter; a son, Loyd Ellis Horton III, and two sisters, Otelia West and Patricia Sanford, all of Ripley, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Freed-Hardeman University Kathy Carter Scholarship Fund.
