Services were held Oct. 1 at Family Funeral Care Summer Avenue Chapel with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. She was a former member of Wells Station Baptist Church and member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church in Knoxville. She leaves two sons, Clint Brown of Olive Branch and Chris Brown of Memphis; her father, James Bass of Fresno, Calif.; a sister, Lynn Stevens of Southaven, and eight grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.

DAVID PAUL BURLISON, SR., 74, of Horn Lake, musician and real estate developer, died Sept. 27 at his home. Services were held Sept. 30 at Southaven First Baptist Church with burial in Hinds Chapel Cemetery in Lake Cormorant. He was a member of Southaven First Baptist Church, Al Chymia Shriner, former Golden Glove Champion, and a War War II Navy veteran. Mr. Burlison, the widower of Rosemarie Harman Burlison, leaves four daughters, Deborah Stafford of Lake Cormorant, Laurie Hylander of Walls, Mary Lisa Goff of Horn Lake, and Holly Moore of Walls; a son, David Paul Burlison Jr. of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Virginia Brook of Southaven, and Nora Hunt of Horn Lake; 12 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Byrd, the widow of William H. Mr. Chaney leaves his mother, Martha Brown Chaney, and a sister, Kim Chaney, both of Nettleton; and special cousins, Paul and Doris Duncan of Nettleton, and Truman and Linda Thompson of Holly Springs.

Mr. Church, the widower of Thelma Church, leaves two sons, James L. Church of Southaven and Gary Church of Horn Lake, and two grandchildren.

MARY JO BENSON CLEMENT, 63, of Tifton, Ga., formerly of Memphis and Southaven, retired customer service worker for Holox Ltd., died Aug. 5 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Ga. Mrs. Clement, the wife of Joseph Allen Clement, also leaves two sons, Joseph Allen Clement of Trophy Club, Texas, and Stephen Edward Clement of Tampa; two sisters, Betty Ann Snow and Mona Sue Wallis, both of Arkansas; a brother, Robert E.
