Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Brantley Funeral Home with burial in Bethlehem cemetery in Memphis. She was a member of Mineral Wells United Methodist Church for 60 years, Loftin chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and DeSoto County Historical Society, and volunteer for Olive Branch Food Pantry and Olive Branch Ambulance Service. Mrs. Williams, the widow of Thomas E. Williams, leaves a daughter, F.W. Chip Jermyn of Olive Branch; two sons, Dan Williams of Olive Branch and Tracy F. Williams of Germantown; two sisters, Becky Sims of Bluffton, S.C., and Ruth Reynolds of Collierville, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Habitat for Humanity in Hernando.

Oxford -- Eula Louise Curtis Gilmore, 77, retired Gilmore Clinic office manager, died Friday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Waller Funeral Home with burial in Oxford Memorial cemetery. She was former president of the Oxford Garden Club and Oxford Parent-Teacher Association, Mississippi Medical Auxiliary officer, and member of the American Red Cross, and the Pantry, Hospice, Meals on Wheels, The Azaleas and the executive board at St. Paul Independent Methodist Church. Mrs. Gilmore, the widow of James Otis Gilmore M.D., leaves a daughter, Emily Gilmore Bailey of Oxford; two sons, George David 'Stump' Gilmore of Bristol, Tenn., and James Curtis Gilmore, M.D. of Decatur, Ala.; a brother, William Harrison Curtis of Oxford, seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The family requests that any memorials be sent to The Pantry or Meals on Wheels.

Oxford -- Garland Lee Luther, 54, died Friday at his home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Latham Funeral Home in Water Valley with burial in Oak Hill cemetery there. He was a Navy veteran and former member of Water Valley First Christian Church. Mr. Luther, the husband of Peggy Ann Luther, also leaves a daughter, Megan Smith of Oxford; a stepdaughter, Jamie Simpson of Marion, Ill.; three brothers, Ronnie Luther of Holly Springs, Ricky Luther of Horn Lake and Jessie Luther of Saltillo, and two grandchildren.

Sardis -- Sheryl Peyton Henry, 80, farmer, died Saturday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Peach Creek Baptist Church in Pleasant Grove with burial in Longtown cemetery. Kimbro Funeral Home in Marks has charge. He was a graduate of Darling High School and member of Marks Lodge. Mr. Henry, the husband of Bettye Jewel Mooneyhan Henry, also leaves a son, Sonny Henry of Sardis, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Victoria -- Edward J. Mays, 83, of Chicago Heights, Ill., formerly of Victoria, died Monday at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights. Services will be at noon Monday at Newell Chapel CME Church, where he was a former member, with burial in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum & Son Funeral Home in Holly Springs has charge. He was a World War II Army veteran. He leaves five sisters, Lenorah Brown of Byhalia, Lillie Parker of Memphis, Almazine Jones of Detroit, and Sarah Reed and Maxine Hearn, both of Victoria, and four brothers, Boyce Mays of Chicago Heights, and Percy Mays, Roy Mays and Willie Mays, all of Victoria.

Mathis Jackson, 83, retired teacher for Providence and Chalybeate Elementary Schools and Chalybeate Childhood Program for 43 years, died Saturday at Corinth Health & Rehabilitation Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Providence Baptist Church in Tiplersville with burial in Providence cemetery there. McBride Funeral Home in Ripley has charge. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Chalybeate. Mrs. Jackson, the widow of David Daniel Jackson, leaves a son, Donnie Jackson of Walnut, two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Coldwater -- Kathryn Parks Gaines, 96, retired teacher, died Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Zion cemetery in Independence. Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia has charge. She was a member of Antioch Church of Christ. Mrs. Gaines, the widow of Leroy Gaines, leaves a daughter, Evon Jarrett of Hernando; two sons, Roger Gaines of Senatobia and Keith Gaines of Jackson; two sisters, Elsie Huber of Los Angeles and Julia Taylor of Chattanooga, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Antioch Church of Christ or a charity of the donor's choice.

Mrs. Heathcock, the widow of Earl Heathcock, leaves two daughters, Marie Embrey of Batesville and Margaret Woodruff of Marion; two sons, Raymond Earl Heathcock of Harmontown and Russell Heathcock of Goshen, Ind.; a sister, Lois Darby of Michigan; three brothers, Ray Blackwood of Marion, Jimmy Blackwood of Middleboro, Ind., and Bill Blackwood of Boise, Idaho, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
