Hill. She is survived by her two sons, Barry W. Hill of Bartlett, TN. and Roger Hill, Hernando, MS. Horn Lake - Terry Lee Thomas, 29, passed away on June 26, 2005. Known by his friends as "T-Bone", he loved to watch wrestling and was an avid NASCAR fan, especially Tony Stewart. Hattiesburg - WILLIAM THOMAS 'BILL' LUNDY for 85 years was 'here by being careful.' He was a gentle, caring man and a very devoted Father. As a Father he was Friendly, Accepting, Trusting, Honest, Encouraging and Reliable. Mr. Lundy died Sunday, June 26 of lung cancer at Willow Creek Retirement Center in Byram, MS. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 29 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Byram, 7541 Siwell Rd. Byram, MS. Also at the church on Thursday, June 30 there will be visitation from 12 to 1 p.m. followed by the services at 1 p.m. Rev. Carl Prewitt will officiate. A graveside service will take place Friday, July 1 at 1:30 p.m. at Highland cemetery, 3401 W. 7th Street, Hattiesburg, MS. Mr. Lundy was born icon November 14, 1919, in Memphis, TN. He served as a Technical Staff Sergeant in the Army during World War II. Stationed in Norfolk, VA, Mr. Lundy was a master mechanic in the vehicle deportation center and supervised a unit of German and Italian POWs that were involved in the repair and maintenance of American vehicles. He was a U.S.D.A. Federal Beef Grader for almost 30 years in Memphis, TN and later in Jackson, MS, prior to retiring to Hattiesburg, MS. While residing in Hattiesburg he and his wife, Dorothy, were members of the Hattiesburg African Violet Club where they won many awards for their African Violets. After relocating to Byram he became an active member of the First Baptist Church of Byram. His wife, Dorothy Durham Lundy, preceded him in death in 1996. Also preceding him in death were his brothers, Claude B. 'C.B.' Lundy of Gulfport and Charlie Lundy of Memphis. Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Lundy Fitzgerald of Byram; one son, Dana Thomas Lundy of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA; sisters, Louise McDade of Memphis and Shirley North of Vanco uver, WA; brothers, Walter B. Lundy of Memphis and Johnny M. Lundy of Mobile, AL.; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and his Pomeranian, Buffy. Flowers may be sent to the First Baptist Church of Byram, 7541 Siwell Rd. Byram, MS. Or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of William T. Lundy.

Hattiesburg - CLARENCE WEST SCOTT, 97. Services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Hattiesburg for Clarence West Scott who died June 28, 2005 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Interment will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Chathom cemetery in Chathom, Ala. Rev. Jeff Clark will officiate. Mr. Scott worked as a chemical engineer for International Paper Company for over 20 years. He served in the Army during World War II, where he worked in intelligence with General Patton in Germany. He retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Mr. Scott was a member of the International Lions Club of Memphis, American Chemical Society and he was Baptist. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lida Anderson Scott, second wife, Phyliss Chandler Scott and third wife, Martha Scott. Survivors include a daughter, Janet Lee Scott Denton, son-in-law, Thomas S. Denton, and granddaughter, Lisa Victoria Alyson Denton, all of Hattiesburg. Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
