Herbert H. Marr, 75, retired farmer, died June 4 at his home. Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. June 8 at Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home with graveside services at 1 p.m. at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Ark. He was a Marine Corps veteran and a Methodist. Mr. Marr, the husband of Mildred S. Marr, also leaves two daughters, Donna June Noe and Lynn Marr, both of Hernando, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Robinsonville United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.

Jessie Massey, 93, of Hernando, died May 29 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. Services were held June 5 at Enon Springs Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Enon Springs Cemetery. M. J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home had charge. He was a member of St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church in Olive Branch. He leaves a son, Jessie W. Massey, and a brother, Emerson Massey, both of Hernando, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Mary Margaret Monk, 62, homemaker, died June 4 at her home. Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. June 7 at Forest Hill Funeral Home South in Memphis. Mrs. Monk, the wife of Roger H. Monk for 23 years, also leaves four daughters, Andrea McLeod of Collierville, Sherie Clifton of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., Tina Wolfe of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Reecelynn M. O'Brien of Memphis; a son, Roger H. Monk Jr. of Byhalia; a sister, Martha Strickland of Orange Park, Fla.; two brothers, Dewey Bills Jr. of Horn Lake and Dan Bills of Memphis, and seven grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

He also leaves a brother, Michael Mott Jr. of Walls; his grandparents, Cathy and Mike Ashford of Brookland, Ark., Sharon Ashford of Jonesboro, Ark., and Sandra Mott of Arkabutla, and his great-grandparents, Barbara and Sonny Mott of Canton and Imigine James of Jonesboro.

G. MULLINS, 68, of Memphis, retired from Lifeway Christian Book store, died May 22 at Saint Francis Hospital. Memorial services were held June 1 at Colonial Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder and Sunday school teacher. Memorial Park Funeral Home had charge. He was an Army veteran and a graduate of Southside High School. Mr. Mullins leaves his wife of 40 years, Mary ‘Beba’ Mullins; two daughters, Melissa Genes of Arlington and Angela Williams of Southaven; a son, Tony Mullins of Collierville; a sister, June Williams of Senatobia; a brother, Wayne Mullins of Henderson, Tenn., and six grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Colonial Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

DONALD WAYNE PERRY, 42, of Memphis, died May 28 at Methodist North Hospital. Services were held May 30 at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel with burial in Randolph (Tenn.) Cemetery. Mr. Perry leaves his wife, Roxanne Needham Perry; two daughters, Katherine Marie Perry and Rebecca Lynn Perry, and his father and stepmother, Glenn and Gloria Perry, all of Memphis; his mother and stepfather, Bobbie Lynn and Joe Daughtry of Somerville; two brothers, Kim Perry of Allen, Texas, and Norlin Perry of Eads; two half-sisters, Glenda Perry of Republic, Mo., and Gayle Perry of Memphis; a stepsister, Diane Maher of Pensacola, Fla., and a stepbrother, Mark Daughtry of Southaven.

He leaves a son, Curtis Personke of Sun Prairie, Wis.; a sister, Gloria Schantz, and a brother, Charles Personke, both of Detroit, and four grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.

She was a communicant of St. Paul Catholic Church and a graduate of Southside High School. Mrs. Stovall, the widow of William Stovall, leaves five daughters, Susan McDaniel of Cordova, Stacey Hissong of Nashville, Sandra Stovall of Bartlett, Sharon Hatton of Dallas and Stephanie Hall of Olive Branch; a son, William Scott Stovall; three brothers, George Lavalle Carlisle of Horn Lake, William Thomas Carlisle of Bartlett and Aubrey Lee Carlisle of Las Vegas, and 12 grandchildren.

Watts Jr. of Olive Branch; a stepdaughter, Marceia V. Harbin of Olive Branch; three stepsons, Tom W. Vaughn of Suwanee, Ga., Maurry L. Vaughn of Hernando and Dell R. Shelia Kay Akers, 47, of Southaven, homemaker, died June 4 at Methodist South Hospital in Memphis. Services were held June 8 at Hernando Funeral Home with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery there. Mrs. Akers leaves her husband, Ralph Akers; a son, Richard Alexander Akers of Southaven; her mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Hal C. Cooper of Millbrook, Ala.; a sister, Karen Marie Hamilton of Hernando, and a brother, Hal Blair Wayne Cooper of Millbrook.

William S. Berryman, 73, of Southaven, retired sales manager for Thurston Motor Lines, former general manager of Happy Hal Toys and former performer for King Brothers Circus, died June 6 at his home. Services were held June 8 at Forest Hill Funeral Home South with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery South. He was a member of Southcrest Baptist Church and a graduate of Arkansas State University. Mr. Berryman, the widower of Virginia L. Berryman, leaves two daughters, Sherry Stevenson of Southaven and Charlotte Wilson of Memphis; a son, Charles Abbott of Olive Branch; a sister, Mary Sue Graham of Portageville, Mo.; a brother, Bob Berryman of Birmingham, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
