The Rev. L. D. Whitfield will officiate at the service.

BURIAL will be in the New Palestine cemetery Picayune, Mississippi under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A Native of Picayune, Mississippi she was a Clerk at the Civil District Court and a member of the Ponchartrain Baptist Church.

VISITATION will be Saturday, April 13th from 6 until 9 pm in the McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune, Mississippi.

Mrs. Betty Jean Martin

FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Saturday, April 6th at 10 am in the Union Baptist Church, Ceasar, Mississippi for Mrs. Betty Jean Martin age 70 of Poplarville, Ms. Who died Wednesday, April 3rd, 2002 in Poplarville, Ms..

BURIAL will be in the Union Baptist Church cemetery.

The Rev. Buddy Sheriff will officiate at the service, assisted by Rev. Billy Kent Smith.

Mrs. Martin was a native of Poplarville, MS, and she was a Homemaker and a member of the Steep Hollow Baptist Church.

Her Survivors include: Two sons: Alfred Ronald "Ronnie" Martin and Paul Henry Martin both of Picayune, MS, Three Daughters: Betty Lynn Fortner of Poplarville, MS, Beverly Gay Guerra and Mary Esther Crocker both of Picayune, MS, Three Sisters: Allie Spiers, Dorothy Henry, Esther Lawrence all of McNeill, MS, Ruby Smith of Poplarville, MS, Three Brothers: Willard Lewis of McNeill, MS, Roland Lewis of Poplarville, MS, Hank " Big Boy" Lewis of Anchorage, Al. (16) Grandchildren (5) Great Grandchildren

VISITATION will be: Friday, April 5th from 6 pm until 9pm in the McDonald Funeral Home and at the Union Baptist Church Saturday April 6th from 9 until 10 am.

Mrs. Effie Elizabeth Barber Mitchell

FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Friday, May 3rd at 10 am in the First Baptist Church, Henleyfield, Mississippi for Mrs. Effie Elizabeth Barber Mitchell age 91 of Henleyfield, Ms. who died Tuesday, April 30th, 2002 in Picayune, Mississippi.

BURIAL will be in the Henleyfield cemetery under the direction of the McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune, Mississippi.

Rev. Buddy Cameron will officiate at the service, assisted by the Rev. Harold Smith and the Rev. Blake Shipp.

She was a Native of Hackley, La.. and was a Homemaker and a member of the New Henleyfield Baptist Church.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Two sons: James Mitchell of Bedias, Texas and Wayne Mitchell of the Henleyfield Community, One Daughter: Betty Horner of Henleyfield Community, MS, (7) Grandchildren (6) Great Grandchildren

VISITATION will be Thursday, May 2nd from 6 pm until 9pm in the McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune, Mississippi and Friday May 2nd from 9 until 10 am at the First Baptist Church Henleyfield, Mississippi.

Mr. William "Bill" Raymond Klotz

GRAVESIDE FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Thursday, May 9th at 2 pm in the Greenwood cemetery in New Orleans, La. for Mr. William "Bill" Raymond Klotz age 76 of the Carriere, Ms. who died Monday, May 6th, 2002 in the Slidell Memorial Hospital, Slidell, La.

BURIAL will be in the Greenwood cemetery in New Orleans, La.

A Native of New Orleans, La. he was a Retired Lab Technician with Kaiser Aluminum and a member of the Catholic Faith.

Mr. Klotz is survived by: His Wife: Jane Strickland Klotz of Carriere, MS, Two sons: Randall Klotz of New Orleans, La. and Larry Klotz of Chalmette, La., Three Stepchildren: Larry Strickland of New York, Cheryl Smith of New Orleans, La., and Pamela Belkin of Picayune, Ms. (6) Grandchildren Three Great Grandchild.

Mrs. Linnie Faye Mitchell

FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Saturday, May 11th at 10 am in the Roseland Park Baptist Church for Mrs. Linnie Faye Mitchell age 55 of the Picayune, Mississippi who died Tuesday, May 7th, 2002 in Southern Pines Personal Care Home, Picayune, Mississippi .

The Rev. Connie Shelton will officiate at the service, assisted by the Rev. Joey Shelton.

BURIAL will be in the New Palestine cemetery Picayune, Mississippi under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A Native of Picayune, Mississippi she was a Music Teacher and a member of the First Baptist Church of Picayune, Ms..

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by: Two Daughters: Amy D. Archer and Tara E. Mashburn both of Picayune, Mississippi, (6) Grandchildren Three Brothers: John Carroll, James Carroll and Dennis Carroll all of Picayune, Mississippi, One Sister: Melanie Torgerson of Picayune, Ms, Her Mother: Mary Yvonne Carroll of Picayune, Ms.

VISITATION will be Friday, May 10th from 6 until 9 pm in the McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune, Mississippi.

Mr. Rodney Clukey

GRAVESIDE FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Friday, February 21st at 10am in the New Palestine cemetery for Mr. Rodney Clukey age 83 of Carriere, Ms. who died Friday, February 14th, 2002 in Picayune, Ms.

BURIAL will be in the New Palestine cemetery.

Rev. Wayne Rice will officiate at the Service.

A Native of Brewer, Maine he was an Electrical Engineer and was a member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include: His Wife: Barbara Clukey of Carriere, MS, Two sons: Steve Clukey of Newport News, Va., and Sidney Noel Clukey of Carriere, MS, four Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren

preceded in death by One Son: Robert Clukey and One Daughter: Jeanne Clukey.

Brother Lawrence Wayne Haselmaier, Jr.

FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Wednesday, May 22nd at 11 am in the First Baptist Church, Picayune, Mississippi for Brother Lawrence Wayne Haselmaier, Jr., age 74, of Picayune, Ms. (Salem Community) who died Monday, May 20th, 2002 in Crosby Memorial Hospital, Picayune, Mississippi.

BURIAL will be in the New Palestine cemetery under the direction of the McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune, Mississippi.

Rev. Dr. Bill Hardin will officiate at the service, assisted by the Dr. Stanley Watson and the Rev. Reggie Bridges.

He was a Native of Mobile, Alabama and was a Baptist Minister for several area churches over the past 43 years and a member of the South Hall Lodge, Mount Vernon, Al., and a member of the First Baptist Church of Picayune, Mississippi.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE: His Wife: Mrs. Barbara Haselmaier of Salem Community, His Mother: Fannie Haselmaier of Calvert, Al., Two sons: Lawrence Haynes Haselmaier, Sr., Picayune, MS, Walter David Haselmaier of Pine Grove Community, One Sister: Pearl Jennings of Calvert, Al., four Grandchildren Two Great Grandchildren

FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Tuesday, May 28th at 2 pm in the Lee's Chapel #1 Missionary Baptist Church. for Mr. Fred R. Jenkins, age 67, of the Carriere, Ms. who died Sunday, May 28th, 2002 in the Crosby Memorial Hospital, Picayune, Mississippi.

BURIAL will be in the Holliman cemetery.

A Native of Bogalusa, La. he was a Purchasing Manager at Stennis Space Center and a member of the Lee's Chapel #1 Missionary Baptist Church and President of the Pearl River County School Board and Past President of Mississippi and Gulf Coast Board Association He also served 18 years as the Church Treasury and Music Director.

Mr. Jenkins is survived by: His Wife: Girtha Lee Jenkins of Carriere, MS, Two Daughters: Rhonda R. Price of Gulfport, MS, and Robin D. Jenkins of Poplarville, Ms. One Brother: Fenwick O. Jenkins of Bogalusa, La., four Sisters: Pauline Adler of Folsom, La., Mary Aline Stamatelaky of Folsom, La., Shirley Magee of Bogalusa, La., and Peggy Hayatte of Folsom, La., One Grandson: Ryland P. Price

VISITATION will be Monday, May 27th from 6 until 9pm in the McDonald Funeral Home and Tuesday May 28th from 1 until 2pm at the Church.

GRAVESIDE FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Wednesday, May 29th at 10:30 am in the Ceasar cemetery for Mrs. Jannie Stockstill Lee, age 97, of the Pineville, La. who died Monday, May 27th in the Hilltop Nursing Center, Pineville, La.

BURIAL will be in the Ceasar cemetery.

The Rev. John Moore will officiate at the service.

A Native of Pearl River County, Mississippi she was a Homemaker and a member of the Baptist Faith.

Mrs. Lee is survived by: One Daughter: Priscilla DeLoach of Pineville, La., four Sisters: Rhoda Pearson of Picayune, Mississippi, Berlie Palmer of Carriere, Mississippi, Bertha Patterson of Jackson, Mississippi and Mary Dale Lingerfilter of Conroe, Texas.

VISITATION will be: THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION.

Mr. George E. Miller, Jr.

FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Thursday, May 30th at 10 am in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel, Picayune, Mississippi for Mr. George E. Miller, Jr. age 66 of Carriere, Mississippi who died Tuesday, May 28th, 2002 in Carriere, Mississippi.

BURIAL will be in the White Chapel cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune, Ms.

Rev. William Gary Smith will officiate at the service.

Mr. Miller was a native of Carriere, Mississippi and Retired from the U.S. Navy, he also was a Pearl River Central Industrial Teacher from 1983 until 1989 and a Truck driver with Martin Gas from 1989 until 1998. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carriere and the 1979 Past Master of Carriere Masonic Lodge #445 and Eastern Star and Keeper of the Light 2002.

Mr. Miller is survived by: His Wife: Mary Miller of Carriere, MS, Two sons: Glen E. Miller and James M. Miller both of Carriere, Ms. and One Brother: John H. Miller of Carriere, Mississippi. (5) Grandchildren

VISITATION will be: Wednesday, May 29 from 6 pm till 9 pm in the McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune, Mississippi

Mrs. Mary Katherine Bates

FUNERAL SERVICES: will be held Saturday, June 1st at 11 am in the First Baptist Church, Henleyfield, Mississippi for Mrs. Mary Katherine Bates age 53 of Carriere, Mississippi (formerly of Harvey, La.) who died Thursday, May 30th, 2002 in the Slidell Memorial Hospital Slidell, Louisiana.

BURIAL will be in the Westlawn cemetery, Gretna, La., at 2 PM Saturday June 1st under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune, Ms.

THE Rev. Harold Smith will officiate at the service, assisted by the Rev. Arthur Shaw.

She was a Native of Baton Rouge, La. and a Homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Henleyfield.

SHE IS SURVIVED BY: Husband: Daniel Bates of Carriere, Ms, One Brother: Leroy Holt of Gretna, La., One Sister: Kathleen LeCompte of Bridge City, La.

Mrs. Bates was preceded in death by Her Son Shawn Michael Bates and Parents: B.L. and Virginia P. Holt.

VISITATION: will be held Saturday, June 1st from 10am until 11 am in the McDonald Funeral Home of Picayune, Ms.
